NuLook was VERY responsive; they communicated and followed through on every single request! I am looking forward to doing more work with them and have initiated another project with the project manager, Pedro. He is fantastic!

NuLook has been Fantastic in my experience. I had a situation that needed attention. There was a leak in the bathroom and it was getting bigger. I tried couple of contractors and due to different reasons or no communication I could not get any contractor to even look or give me a quote. I then reached out to NuLook after reading their reviews on Angi. They were prompt in returning my calls and an onsite visit was scheduled. Patrick Dawson was onsite and on time! He walked through the property and spent quite some time walking me through the issues and things that needed to be taken care of. I received the quote 3 days after we met and Patrick did advise me that I would receive at that time, since he had other customer orders to work on. I appreciated his and NuLook process of ensuring they follow through. Once I received the quote from David Schwartz, the owner, we finalized a start date. I really liked how they worked. I was given a quote, charges were billed on Fridays and collected on Mondays, updates for the week were provided on those Friday calls. I was kept up to date with progress and also provided with before and after pictures. In the end, the work got done. Everything we discussed was implemented. There were no surprises, which is the best thing we need when undergoing repairs. Overall I am very satisfied with the services provided by Patrick, David and NuLook services team. I would hire them again for future needs. Thank you David, Patrick and NuLook Services Team!

The workers that Dave sent were very friendly and considerate. When they unwrapped the old wood on the columns, they found that there were no posts inside. They had to go and get 6x6 posts and install those. Then they replaced the old wood with pvc materials (my choice) and added trim to the top and bottom of the columns. Then they painted them and they look exactly as I had envisioned - so pretty! They also installed a wrought iron handrail that I had ordered for the steps .

We used NuLook Home Service to repair a section of textured drywall in a garage ceiling, damaged du to a water leak, and to repair two failed areas in the subfloor of a bathroom. We had a very positive experience. Within minutes after submitting a request for an estimate, David (the owner) called me to discuss options. I should note that, not only was David really quick to respond, none of the other companies to whom I requested estimates bothered to contact me at all. David was able to look at pictures that I sent of the ceiling and bathroom floor and provided an initial estimate. It looked like the project would take two days to complete. We confirmed an appointment to complete the work for the next day following my initial quote request. I really did not expect service that quickly. The NuLook crew (Joe and Jay) arrived in the morning. They were both great to work with and patient with my questions. Joe and Jay completed the work very efficiently and with great quality! Following the completion of the job, David called me to ensure I was satisfied. He reduced the price of the job to be in-line with the amount of time it took to complete (one day instead of two), which I appreciated greatly. Overall, we had a great experience with NuLook, and would definitely use them again in the future.

We were very pleased with all aspects of the job. Jesse, George, Patrick, and Mike were all exceptional to work with. Everyone on their team was professional and very conscientious. From the owner, David, to his entire team, there was a culture of quality work and open communication with the customer. They went to great lengths to ensure that we were satisfied. We would use them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them to anyone.

I had several significant issues with my home that required a lot of work both inside and outside to address. Nu Look Home Service was tremendously helpful through all steps of the process. All their staff were professional, friendly, accessible, patient, and generous with their time to explain to me what they were going to, how they were going to do it, and why. Their workmanship and attention to detail was phenomenal.

UPDATE: This is an update from a previous posting. The owner has contacted us and is making every attempt to correct the issue.

Nu look did a great job at updating our bathroom. Everyone that worked on the job was professional and did prompt work. Everything was completed as promised in our agreement and there were no hidden fees like i have had with other contractors. I will definitely use them again.

They were able to get it taken care of within a week. (Had to wait for the door to come in.) They were quick to respond, and were polite. Will use them again in the future.

The company completed each task based on the weather and time and schedule everything was completed satisfactory. They even completed a few extra tasks which made the job even better. There were a few issues at the beginning but Dave made sure everything was completed satisfactory.

Nu Look Home Services’ replaced my 31-year-old front door with two side windows unit. Nu Look Home Services’ sent two men, Zack and James to handle my job. They were professionally dressed and courteous. If there was a question as to how I wanted something done, they ask. There were three things that I did need to get done, reinstall my existing screen door, reinstall my doorbell & reinstall the door alarm, which they did. However, we did run into a major and a minor problem. The major problem was that 31 years ago my door opening was 82 inches wide and today’s door openings units are only 80 inches wide. This left a 1-inch gap on either side of the door frame unit. Zack and James had to reconstruct the perimeter of the door frame unit both inside and outside to make this unit look as if it was part of the original construction. Also, they found a piece of floorboard underneath the door frame that had rotted over time and replaced it. The minor problem was that my existing deadbolt lock and door handle were too small to fit the new holes in the door. Not only did they replace the deadbolt lock in my handle but they rekeyed the new locks with my old key so that I still have just one key for all the locks in my home. The job turned out to be a two-day job instead of a one-day job. They stayed with the job until it was completed. Nu Look Home Services employee’s people that have the knowledge and experience that when faced with an unexpected problem on the job, they know how to resolve the problems and make a professionally looking finished product. They were constantly using their vacuum cleaner to keep the installation area clean and the dust down. After the job was completed all the old material was hauled away in the jobsite was cleaned up. Use them again? You bet!

Had some issues but it got handled.

Showed up on time. Completed promised work. Issues were resolved satisfactorily.

They repaired a new fence and put in a new gate and did a good job.

The damage was extensive, Dave Schwartz was very transparent with his estimate of cost. We didn't know what all needed done until drywall, subfloor and exterior siding were removed. Everything was repaired well, I was kept up to date on all work. As the house was going on the market, they even chipped in and helped me remove wallpaper from **** from my daughter's room. I have since hired them for every home repair job I need.

Great group to work with. I used them years ago for reconfiguring a closet and a portion of my living room and when I had a major renovation I contacted them for the work and am pleased with the results.

We own 6 kinder care facilities. Over 6 months, they did driveway sealing and paving, siding work and fascia work, painting, concrete, maintenance. Very versatile, can handle anything. They are very warm people and treat the property like their own. They do a wonderful job and are very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them.

The owner came out to look at what we needed done. He also had emailed us the estimate within a day or two. We were quickly on the schedule after accepting. I was given a date and time to confirm. They showed up on time which is always nice. I was given a one hour bracket and not an all day bracket like a lot of companies. They were polite and kept things tidy, which again was nice.

The estimate looked good, but it did not make limitations for exterior doors, just the sliding door and the owner said while taking measurements that he can put in any size exterior door. I ordered all 36" doors which I found out later would cost me more because two of the old doors were 32", so I ended up having to return to 36" doors and order 32" doors. They started work on Monday 11/28 after I was told by the owner no one would work that day because of rain. Two people showed up and started removing interior trim which only took a few minutes and spent three hours using paint brushes and rollers to paint one door which turned out horrible. Out of that seven hour work day, that's all the work that was done that day. 18 hours and three days later they had two exterior doors installed. No trim, paint, or anything else, just installed. By Friday, the fifth day of work, the owner called me after the employees left wanting to raise the estimate another $2,000 because the sliding door will be more work than he thought to which I did not agree. Over the next three weeks and twelve days of work for which I was present every day, I witnessed numerous problems. In no particular order: Never knowing over three weeks if/when they are going to be working. Using my tools to do their work without permission and continuing to use the tools even asking me if I have a hammer they can borrow. Leaving my garden hose strewn about 40 feet in to the backyard in 20 degree temperature. Taking an item from inside my house without permission and leaving it in my garage after I complained and they came back to pick up their tools. Leaving trash all over my property. Spitting chewing tobacco dozens of times right outside the doors where they were working also walking in and enter my house. Leaving piles of chewed sunflower seeds. Installing doors improperly. Leaving my house unlocked at the end of the day when I was not home and they left after two and a half hours of work. Saying a door was finished, yet I observed divots in drywall, door would not latch, door lock would not lock. Stone blocks falling out of exterior two days after they were installed which makes me wonder how long that exterior will last after their altering the wall. Leaving patches of putty that look like a kid did the work. Installing inside door trim with numerous chips from using a large blade to cut 6ft. which cannot be cover by paint. Making error of mounting door trim too close to the striker plate causing the tongue of the door to hit trim before plate which they blamed on me for "getting the wrong trim, " yet they mounted the last door trim farther away avoiding the problem after I pointed out their error. This is most but not all of the problems. After three weeks the work is still not completed. Unfortunately they're coming back to caulk and paint when it gets warmer.. Although I read several five star reviews for much smaller projects, Nu Look was very unorganized and unprofessional. I am glad I stayed home nearly all day every day they worked. Unfortunately they did not communicate with me, so even days they did not work for the three week period I stayed home until at least noon in case they showed up.
