They never touched the roof or even applied for a permit. After months of jerking me around I tried to cancel and they refused to refund anything.

Hired this company to renovate two units in my rental investment. Christian (sales/project manager) promised to have it complete in 3 weeks by 7/12 and to pull the proper permits. Come to find out that the permits they pulled were incomplete and application was sent in on the day that it was supposed to be finished. Went into their office after repeated calls, vmails and txts to meet with the president (he kept saying he will call me back but never did). After catching him in the office, Chris Mayes, verbally promised to provide some concessions to the total contracted amount and assured me that it would be done by 8/10 or they will incur late delivery fees. He asked me to put it in writing and send to him that evening. I created the addendum to the contract, sent it to him and he has not answered any of the calls, texts or emails. These are the tactics they use to delay and get you out of their office. They have missed the deadline for completion 3 times, won't answer email, texts phone calls. Beware that they will ask for a large sum to even start work and to buy supplies, do some shoddy work and say they've completed the midpoint to get the 2nd payment to get the supplies to finish the work. We have now hired a lawyer and are working wtih other reputable contractors to course correct the sub-par work that's been done. They pretty much did a demo and didn't pull the proper permits to do the work. I've attached photos of the current state that they left it in showing areas that are not to code. They didn't take precaution to cover the A/C units and windows, got knock down wall texture all over it after taking the filter out so we need new units and windows. There were several things that were not to code and the paint is peeling off of the newly painted areas. They haven't shown up to the work site for over a month now and didn't even clean up the site after demo and there's trash all over the property. For those that have been scammed by Christian P. and Chris M., file a complaint on BBB and [*** Link removed ***] This company deserves to have their licenses revoked. They have a full time tech guy working there, probably to create positive reviews to lure other clients in. DO NOT HIRE THEM! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

Very satisfied and happy. Since the very beginning Nutech helped me with my roof, they installed a tarp right away after Irma and have been there every step of the way. They always responded to my calls and the construction went very well. I am very happy thank you Nutech

Scheduling took longer than initially told, but when it came time, they were 3 days earlier and took only 1 day to complete. Very clean, organized and thorough. Cost was within what was estimated by insurance from Irma claim, then had some cost savings in the end which was a nice surprise! Working with them on an estimate for an active leak with our flat roof over an addition.

I contacted this company after a friend that I work with used them and they did a marvelous job by looking at the photos. Well that did not happen at my house, the initial contract and signing of work agreement took place on June 6, and promised that the work would begin on July 31st (first lie) well that day came and went, along with all the others that I called about and complained that they need more workers, the project manager told me they had (4) 10 men crews that can do a roof in 3 days max. (Second lie) Well the roof did not get started until 9-5-17 just days before a major hurricane was to hit Florida, I even question their ability to get it done in time with this storm coming. (Third of many more to come lies) Well the re nailing of the roof failed as the crew was overdriving the nails and half of them were not even hitting the truss, first failed inspection just a day after they started to work. The guy running the crew (Jose) got mad that he was busted on doing it wrong and walked off the job. I later found out he told his boss (David) that I threw him off the job. Really I am going to tell a roofing crew to stop working on my roof when a major storm is coming and that they could just leave it uncovered and not come back. (Best lie ever, and the fact that David believed him and did not call me back to confirm story). Well they send Jose back to ‘dry’ the roof in so that they can start on it in the morning (Friday), it rained that Thursday night and surprise the roof was pouring water into my house in three areas . (Note to company, don't send your best guy you have, that just got failed for an inspection back to fix his sloppy work) So no one (Jose’s crew) showed up on Friday to work on the roof. So to make a huge long story short, This has been going on for more than 2 months trying to get a roof re nailed correctly from (4) failed inspections, of which (3) are red tags. I have repeatedly been promised that the roof will get done and all interior damage fixed. They have to tear the first installed roof off and redo all the structural damage that was done by them (Jose) over nailing, overdriving, the nails and that half of the nails didn't even hit a truss. I had a structural engineer look at the roof both on top and underneath to assess the damage and even he said that this was the worst he has ever seen any roof done in his life. Plus just by looking at all the missed nails, he said the calculations would not support the 130mph wind velocity we have in the area of the State that I am in. So in other words if we only get a 100mph wind, my roof would come off. I am still being promised that the roof will get done and all the drywall that has fallen from my ceilings in my living room, kitchen and patio will be fixed ( don't believe anything they say anymore) we are now going into 6 months of empty promises and more crazy stories worthy of an episode on Seinfeld. In the meantime the roof has constantly leaked water into my living areas whenever it rains. If you are smart run away from this company as fast as you can otherwise you’re going to have more damage done to you house that they can fix. The worst part of all this is that Jose has done hundreds of roofs and you know mine is not the only one that he screws up. He was just caught on mine because we have a great building department in Plant City. can you image all the other housed that did not get a proper inspection done, what's going to happen to their roof when another hurricane comes that is above 100 mph. Poor families won’t know any better and will have to get a new roof again. So if you know that Jose did your roof you might want to get a licensed home inspection done on the roof to prove to your insurance carrier that it is up to code. I know mine is not and the building inspector is going to hold them to doing it right. Be afraid of any work done by this company is up to code. It has been 6 months since the start of the contract and I still do not have resolution. I hope the State will pull or suspend their License so that they will not damage any more houses.

Listen to the other reviewer who gave an F rating. Stay away from Nutech! The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. They should not be allowed to hold a license in Florida or any where else for that matter. Don't let the clean cut, smooth talking salesman fool you. Their unsupervised crews are incapable and completely unwilling to do even an adequate roof job much less one of any quality. I am still dealing with the nightmare they caused my family from almost TWO years ago. Destruction of property , injury to our employees, non payment to subs, and a roof that has never not leaked are just some of the problems caused by these people. Call literally anyone else. They will look you in the eye and lie repeatedly with no shame.

They did our next door neighbors as well and they did a very good job and a reasonable time line considering all the rain and they knew we were on a time schedule for our planned vacation and they really worked with us and did as promised.

STAY AWAY FROM NUTECH ROOFING & CONSTRUCTION. This is the company your dad warned you about. I had thought that I did a good job researching Roofing companies for the purpose of tending to a small "area of concern" on my roof. While my roof was not brand new, I never had ANY issues with leaks or anything else... until I hired NuTech Roofing & Construction. The salesman was clean and professional, and their price was extremely fair, but we all know that you get what you pay for.... Now, I have leaks appearing where NuTech worked, and ONLY where they worked. NuTech's work was sub par, (inspected by several other companies who pointed out the crappy workmanship). NuTech would not stand by their warrantee, even after several attempts to explain that my roof did not leak prior to their service. NuTech offered to patch additional areas for additional costs (rip me off more), and even suggested that their company would put on a new roof for me, (that would have been an ongoing nightmare). The leaking is so bad, that I was forced to prematurely install a new roof. $$$$$$$
