This is my second review about this company. Since then I have learned they did a siding job improperly. I hired them for complete siding -- tear down plus trim and siding. They installed the siding first and planned to do the trim later. After a terrible experience dealing with them for interior reno, I would not have them come back for the trim. I found out from multiple other contractors that the trim needed to be put on first, as it needs to go under the siding around the windows and doors to prevent leaks. Additionally, in installing a dryer vent improperly, they put up two random dryer vent covers on the side of my house/top. They also neglected to install siding blocks anywhere, which I find voids my siding warranty. Per their suggestion, I had held back $3,000 for trim. The lowest estimate I have gotten is $15,000 as all the J-channel needs to be removed around doors and windows, an entire section of siding need to be replaced and holes repaired, and siding blocks installed.

Hire these guys if you hate yourself and your house and you thrive on chronic chaos – and filth. I could write a book on this soap opera, but just a few highlights. They over promise (the promises!) and under deliver, chasing the next gig to meet payroll. So, expect the job to get started, and then wait and wait, and wait, while they start another for that first illusive check. If you want things actually finished, learn to do it yourself. In fact, learn to do it yourself because you will need to be the foreman, they don’t have one. Youtube is a good place, which is where the owners get their training – at least according to the crew. Enjoy the Friday show when no one gets paid, fights ensue, then at least one guy quits or gets fired. The owners may ask you to front the money. They are good at guilt and I was a sucker -- the first time. Monday is fun when you find out who got rehired and shows, or doesn’t. If you want to know every dirty little secret of this colorful bunch, you’re in luck because the crew spends all day badmouthing the owners, and the owners, bizarrely, trash the crew. When I say every secret – I know about each prison sentence, a wide array of drug history, and one s** toy related injury. To be fair, most of the work was done adequately, after a few tries. But only most of it. I have some new fellas scheduled to finish up what I have already paid for. This is after a host of arguments where I apparently am at fault for what broke down immediately and for the towel used to cap a pipe. Now, it’s radio silence. They’ve cashed the last check and lost my number. If these guys are still in business when you read this, well, I’ll be surprised. Check for new names. That’s not a joke; one owner mentioned it. And don’t get me started on the lack of permits, licenses, and the advertised number of years of experience of the team -- which is as it turns out, is cumulative, including guys who quit because they weren’t paid. The owners themselves have been doing this for a year and a half, and about three months, respectively. I write this with humor so I don’t cry, which I did a fair amount of. It was an awful experience and I’m still dealing with it. I have to say, the crew was sympathetic and I liked them. The owners, no so much.
Response from NuView Trade Services
"If you are a contractor and reading this; avoid at all costs Anyone else reading this; 1. The client was informed of costs of all permitting and declined due to cost alone. 2. Nuview regularly pulls permits. All permits can be accessed by the public, so it's simple to see that we do 3. Invoiced costs were about 35 - 40k. Not 70k Well over 70k was done from multiple last-minute changes that we accommodated and never billed for as we often do. It bit us back hard. 4. Still and always will be NuView. Find us on Facebook and on the web at nuviewtradeservices.com When we clear this backlog, we will put a review section there too where we can move this to"

Amazing! John knew I was under a deadline to get the job done for a closing date to sell the building and he made it happen with time to spare. His staff took the time to make the trim and siding look fabulous! he kept me informed of changes to the schedule and reached out to communicate as needed. I would use these folks again, anytime!! I highly recommend them! Thank you guys!
