In January of 2022 we decided to get a facelift for our kitchen. We were keeping the existing cabinets, but changing the floor, back splash, countertops and getting a new island. We chose NV Kitchen and Bath (“NVKB”) in Falls Church to do the work, based on the rave reviews we saw on the internet. Our experience was not consistent with those stories. We signed the contract in February of 2022 because they promised the project could be completed within 4-5 weeks . However, the contract is crafted to make the beginning and ending completely ambiguous so there’s no ability to require a certain timeline for completion. Now, almost 2 years later the project is not done. They last communicated with us on October 25th, 2023, promising to continue and finish the work. However, to date, they have not fulfilled those promises and we haven’t heard from them since October 25, 2023. Our last request to them was by email, sent on December 7, 2023. The problems with NVKB began immediately from the start. To get a new island took three months and one of the cabinets they ordered was the wrong size. While we were waiting on the right materials, we were told the manufacturer, (“Kemper”), no longer made those cabinets. We were told to pick a substitute. We offered NVKB to drop off the substituted items to our house. When we opened the boxes, the color of the hood did not match the island. Again, Kemper didn’t have a hood of a matching color. We had to order a new hood (not Kemper) and it took additional two months. As the backsplash would be installed around the hood, the crew couldn’t begin work. To add insult to injury, when they had to return the wrong hood, they tried charging us a restocking fee. They ultimately relented, admitting we shouldn’t have to pay. Additionally, we have cameras installed throughout our property. When a project manager of NVKB was seen on camera, removing six boxes of tiles from our garage without any authorization , we complained to NVKB and they returned them but only after two months. This was a disturbing event nonetheless. After addressing our concerns with them on October 25, 2023, their Operations Coordinator, Victor, agreed to remedy the problems and said he will be in touch. Nothing was heard from them thereafter. Nevertheless, every single thing NVKB touched in our kitchen was damaged (broken tile, damaged island, wobbling floor, scratched trim of the refrigerator, electrical problems with installation of the lights). We expect it will take thousands of dollars to complete the work and do the necessary repairs. Please be aware that our experience with NVKB has been a disaster. They promised to be done in 4 to 5 weeks. They should have known that this was an impossible task, but we relied on that promise to enter into a contract, they took our money, they have not completed the job and we are damaged to the tune of thousands of dollars. Our advice is to consider a different company if you are planning on a kitchen upgrade. If you do choose them, install cameras everywhere, insist on fixed beginning and ending dates in the contract, penalties for going over the promised ending date and demand an ability to terminate the contract for cause. Lastly, hire an attorney help modify their form contract before signing. We wish we had done so.

I LOVE my kitchen. I live in a highrise in downtown DC and I was nervous about working with my building, knocking down (most of a wall), damage to anohter unit, tiles too large for my small 8' x 9' kitchen, dark cabinets, etc.. However, my designer Natalie was AWESOME!! She met with me for hours and hours until we both thought it was right. The crew that worked on my kitchen were great. Nice, friendly, and efficient.

We have being searching for a reliable company which can provide us a good design and competitive pricing. NV was our first choice among others with their professional and clear communication. We read some negative reviews too but it seems like they’re outliers and it’s impossible to make some people happy! I highly recommend this company since it was a great experience from start to finish. Yes small issues happened but handled right away. This was a kitchen, basement 3 bathrooms remodeling project with significant changes on the load bearing walls. My wife and I are very happy with the results. Thank you guys!

Do not use NVKB! We contracted them for a complete remodel of the first level of our TH. First off, they required %50 of the project total and it took them over 90 days to get started. They were supposed to be done in 4 - 6 weeks. It took them 9 weeks. They kept coming up with items that we had been assured by the designer and job foreman were included and part of the contract, only to find they were not, either by omission or disregard or contempt for the client! There were times, no one would show up to do anything for days at a time. One work stoppage… I didn’t see anything done over a three week period of time. There were many, many days where I was told someone was coming to work. And NO one would show up. Mind you… our entry level was completely gutted, there were materials all over and all the appliances in the dining room. Our lower level was unusable as we had to store the entire contents of our kitchen and bath down there. Let me make a real king story short. We paid for first quality materials and labor. Many, many things were done incorrectly if not just poorly! The cabinets looked like they were pulled from another job as they had extra holes in them. They couldn’t even fix a simple leak they had caused in the powder room! We had to call them back for that 4 times! We have many areas that we had to go back over and repaint because poor quality of work and lack of attention to detail by their subs!! I contracted this business to avoid the headaches and hassle of trying to coordinate the subs and services myself! Hah!! The joke is on me. They started out well, but soon the issues started when they informed us how many important items were not ordered, as they should have been, while they were holding my deposit! I do not recommend this business!

I like the look of the cabinets, floor and countertop. The computer generated plans the designer provides mean nothing - when I pointed out that the cabinet on one wall was 15 1/2 inches short, I was told that the original project manager had trouble measuring and I would have to pay for a change order to get it right (I should have been provided a schematic with measurements and I and not provided with this). A few days later, the whole project was put on hold for five weeks because the piece around the refrigerator was mismeasured. I asked that someone remeasure other areas because it looked like there was not enough room for the refrigerator - no one came out and that wall has the crown molding jutting out 1 inch. The people delivering the countertop said sink was too heavy for the promised undermount - they asked me what to do. The crown molding was originally installed 1 1/2 inch form the ceiling - the project manager would not fix until I brought out management from NV Kitchens. The slide out shelves on the lower cabinets was part of the design and verified by the designer. I could not get them installed until I withheld third payment. A project estimated to take 3 weeks has taken 12 weeks (and damage to the adjoining room floors has still not been fixed). Be aware that you have no one to advocate for you on the project - you are on your own. Update as of 11/29/2022 This is an addition to a prior review. The grout started crumbling after 6 weeks and a tile has cracked. The contractor will not come out because he did not like my original review - so it seems a bad review voids the warranty. The contractor's response to lack of warranty was "I was wondering if you could give us a better review, I saw that you gave us only 2 stars. I would really appreciate it if you could give us a better review if possible. I know that the designer made some mistakes but I tried to do my best to make you happy with the way that we managed the project and the quality of your work." My response to the contractor --The two stars reflects NV Kitchen making no effort to remedy the wrong size cabinets (smaller less expensive) or the wrong sink installation (not an under mount). The company should have made an effort to work with you to make it right. Update as of 12/7/2022 Entire kitchen remodel. This is an update to original review. The contractor tried to do good work but NV Kitchen substituted smaller cheaper cabinets and cheaper sink installation and would not correct. Review Text: The contractor corrected the crumbling grout and cracked tiles. The company substituted smaller cheaper cabinets and cheaper sink mount and would not change or correct.

Excellent service and top of the line products at reasonable prices. This is our 2th remodeling and we will continue to use them in the future. We love our new shower and our new bathroom cabinets are beautiful! Matt has done all of our instillation and has done a fantastic job each time. He is very meticulous and takes pride in his work. Great communication and installation by the team. Very knowledgeable on the important things (electrical and plumbing) that goes on behind the scenes of a renovation. They make an extra effort to keep the house clean, are polite, and punctual.

We just finished our Master Bathroom remodel with NV Kitchen and Bath Remodeling and would like to recommend them to all my neighbors. This has been a project in the making for a few years. We had gotten tired of our very large, but “practical” master bathroom, for quite some time now. Once we had a good design in mind we started shopping for contractors. They say you should get multiple quotes – and we got a dozen. Since my wife and I wanted to be involved in selecting and buying all of the finishing material, we opted for a contractor who was willing to entertain a labor and building material contract. Although NV is a full service firm, they were willing to accommodate this request since we already had the design and basic drawings created and majority of the finishing materials on-hand. Italo was the salesman at NV who we dealt with and I cannot say enough good things about him. From the very beginning, we felt that he was an honest individual and this became clear thru out the entire renovation. He is also very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. We did not have to deal with any of the high pressure sales tactics, or bait-and-switch that we hear about from many. The entire project took 6 weeks from start to finish (it is not totally finished since I have to put the shower glass and a custom mirror). Our biggest worry starting this project was the dust we expected to have in the house. When Italo said that his crew will take all possible measures to make it painless to the homeowners - we didn’t believe it. We expected dust to settle on every object in every room and was dreading it when the crew showed up to start work. I am happy to report that this was not the case. I don’t know how they did it but our home still remains dust free, Kudos to each and every member of the crew. Every piece of trash was bagged in the bathroom and taken outside. Irving and his team of professionals spared no attention to detail thru out the entire project. I had wanted minimal grout line and this is exactly what I got. Every tile placement was perfect, and every cut was precise. Any concerns we had during the course of the project was immediately dealt with to our complete satisfaction. Our Project Manager Oz, kept us posted on the work. We would also like to thank the owners at NV (who we have not met or dealt with) for hiring and retaining such a wonderful team of professionals.

NV Kitchen and Bath lives up to its positive reviews! We chose to work with the company based on their reviews, photos of their work online, and their quotes, which were much more reasonable than many of their competitors. We had NV Kitchen and Bath do both our small master bathroom and our half bath. Our project manager Oz Huseyin was fantastic, flexible, and reasonable. We went into the show room to choose our materials with their help of one of their designers, and they were ready to begin work just days later. The work went quickly and smoothly, but Oz told the workers to take their time to make sure it was done right, and it was! We ended with a beautiful product within a good time and reasonable price.

We recently completed our third successful renovation project with NV. As usual they completed the work to our exact specifications, on time and on budget. We have now used this company to renovate our kitchen, all our bathrooms, and most recently reface our fireplace and install custom built-in bookshelves. The one time we used a different company on a separate project - a basement renovation we wanted to get going on in a time slot that NV was booked - we quickly regretted it because we didn't experience the same level of reliability, honesty about how long things would take, and clockwork organization of different trade teams. We love working with NV because they are very customer focused, responsive, easy to communicate with, start and finish when they say they will, and have a high level of workmanship.

We recently completed a total renovation of a small bathroom with NV Kitchen and Bath. Their price was competitive with estimates received from 2 other local firms. I chose NVK&B because of their interest in doing the job and that they were located in my neighborhood. Edgar conducted a site visit to take measurements and make design suggestions. At their showroom, he helped us pick out all of the new fixtures, tile, etc. He understood what we were looking for and came up with materials that complemented our ideas. We were able to do the material selection in a few hours. The project started on time. Prior to demolition, they laid down protection on floors and stairs and covered nearby furniture. The demo was done in 2 days. Overall the work proceeded pretty close to schedule. Workers generally showed up on time. The only significant delay was caused by some of the tile being on back order. Our project manager, Huseyin identified some construction challenges during his walkthrough that allowed the design to be altered before work began. This resulted in no change orders during the project. He was very responsive to calls and text messages and issues that came up as the work proceeded. Specifically, we requested that some tile work be redone and to have a medicine cabinet changed that didn’t fit quite right. Huseyin addressed each of these issues quickly without hesitation. Overall, we are very happy with the results.

They quickly assessed our situation, explained the required repairs, and worked with us to choose materials that would complement the existing out of production tile. In addition to repairing the water damage and restoring the look of the shower, they repaired the drywall behind the shower wall, painted, and installed a ceiling fan. The work was performed quickly, and they did a good job. We are pleased with the results. I was especially pleased that they were able to use the existing glass enclosure and sized the step into the shower to match.

It went well. We encountered some hiccups that were resolved in a reasonably timely fashion. The only issue I would recommend taking action on to improve is regarding the selected kitchen cabinet manufacturing company. There were several flaws that could've been prevented by better quality assurance procedures on the part of the cabinet manufacturer. Other than that, I loooove my new kitchen!

We worked closely with the kitchen designer Katelyn Reeve who showed us many options for the materials and layout. She listened to our requests and using the 3-D design programs she showed us the final kitchen design in nearly photographic detail. As we worked through the layout, she was very patient and flexible in showing us multiple options. When we made the final selection of layout and materials, the project proceeded on schedule until completion. The project manager was very attentive and kept us fully informed on the project details and progress. All the workmen were experts in their craft and also always left the job site in order at the end of each day. We are totally satisfied with all facets of this very complex job and highly recommend this company for its quality of design, craftsmanship and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Sean and his crew did a great job at my house. Since from the start with the 3D design, Sean designed exactly what I had in mind for my home. NV Kitchen and bath built a bath from scratch. Renovated two other bathrooms, and installed kitchen countertops. The bathrooms were perfect. I can't imagine anything better than that. They pretty much finished everything on the time promised and so on. Thank you NV kitchen and bath family!

We had a great experience with NV renovating our kitchen in the summer 2017 so we brought them back in the summer of 2018 to renovate our three bathrooms. Our bathrooms were small and required a lot of attention to detail and careful planning and craftsmanship and plumbing expertise. They turned out beautifully. The company was very easy to work with and attentive to our needs. It kept our house clean during the construction phase. They came back to attend to a few details post-construction that we wanted refined. We would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to friends.

This remodeling project went really well. The workers were professional and skilled. They had to completely gut the bathroom of it's 1950s vide. Then they created a beautiful bathroom that was pretty much exactly what I wanted. The designer, April, was great! The project was kept as tidy as possible which was not so easy since they had to tear apart the original bathroom. Everything was carted away. I had no problems communicating with the project manager and he was very responsive. All in all it was an excellent experience! I love my new bathroom and when the time comes I will use them again for renovation work!

Working with NV Kitchen and Bath Remodeling on a bathroom remodeling project was a good decision all around. From the beginning and throughout, the staff was polite and courteous. They visited to see our project and proposed a bathroom design. The design staff was very good at listening to our specific needs and adjusting plans accordingly. Throughout the entire construction, a project manager was available to oversee and make sure we were happy with each step along the way. The crew covered walls and floors to protect other parts of the house, put in a full day´s work and cleaned up at the end of each day. The crew also stayed on the job until final completion. The end result is a bathroom that is remodeled for our needs, and also beautifully done with quality workmanship. We are very happy. NV Kitchen and Bath Remodeling gave us a good experience and we highly recommend this company.

NV Kitchen and Bath provided excellent service from the initial design to the final walk through. The workmanship was exceptional. The staff is very professional and friendly. If you don't know what you want, they are patient and will work with you to figure it out. If you know what you want, they will show options to enhance.They are very customer oriented. They want you to be totally satisfied with your project and will work with you to make that happen. We had 4 other estimates, so we know their prices were very competitive.
