NY Landscape Lighting & Irrigation LLC

We found NY Landscape Lighting through Angie’s List. We had 2 other proposals for up-lighting our 200’ winding driveway. We prefer to use local businesses whenever possible and Chris’ company had excellent reviews. Chris replied promptly and gave us a clear, well documented proposal. All materials were top quality and after my many questions, it was clear Chris knew this business quite well. Pricing was competitive -not the least or most expensive. The proposal was for a 300W transformer remote smart phone app control for up-lighting 10 driveway trees and converting our driveway entry 120v post lights to low voltage LEDs. His crew of 3 were extremely polite, left everything so clean - didn't look like anything was disrupted. They were very thorough in all aspects… job was completed in 1 day and next day Chris came by to get the wifi interface working with our smartphone. I will definitely use him again – we plan more work in the fall.

It was terrific he explained what he was using and I did not see one bug all summer. I have a puppy and I was so worried but he had no problems and the spray he used was natural and animal friendly. He was so nice.

Chris worked with us in designing the system. The neighborhood we are living in has no street lights and is very dark at night. We also want a system which is easy to maintain. He provided us a quote in a timely manner, and although his quote was the most expensive one we went with him. Installation was quick and absolutely no-mess. Chris came back to our home twice to get us the fixtures that would fit our fence posts. The outcome is very satisfactory and we are hoping the system would withstand the (projected) harsh winter ahead.

The Landscape Lighting provider scheduled a window of time when he would service my yard, but never informed me when he arrived-even though I was home and my car was in the drive. My first notice of his presence was a loud motor which I thought was someone mowing their lawn, but was in fact, the Landscape Lighting man spraying my lawn with a leaf blower. The second notice was an angry call from my next door neighbors complaining the flea and tick spray was coming into their home thru the open windows causing burning eyes and violent coughing. I immediately went outside to ask the operator to cease spraying the side yard. He growled it didn't matter, he was finished, and without further adieu, got in his truck and left. Finished? He only been here about ten minutes and I never heard any spraying being done in my back yard where I spend most of my outdoor time. If he had bothered to ask, I would have told him to start there, but as I have a zero lot yard, I can't think this deal would not have covered it. That night, sitting on my patio, a mosquito landed on my hand. Now I have had my yard treated for ticks and mosquitoes before, but it was always done with a liquid insecticide sprayed thru a hose, which I can only conclude is more effective. On the bright side, my neighbor has stopped coughing and tells me her kitchen and dining room are mosquito and tick free. My yard, alas, is not.

After treating my property, I can definitely see a great reduction in the amount of mosquitoes in the area. I would highly recommend and I plan on using them on a monthly basis.

Chris was a pleasure to work with. Got in and out within 2 hours and had my sprinklers going and adjusted in no time.

Chris and his team are fantastic!  Two years ago I bought a large home on an acre of land that the previous owners didn't keep up.  I hired one company to fix the sprinkler system and another to upgrade the landscape lighting.  I was very disappointed and frustrated with getting it done right.  Then I found NY Landscape Lighting.  First, I called to get an estimate on the landscape lighting only.  Chris came over and walked the property with me.  He was professional and very detailed.  I could tell he cared about quality and customer satisfaction.  He explained about the products he uses and had a great vision for my property.  His prices were competitive with others and I decided to give him the job.  He even talked me out of some extra lighting that I though I wanted but he said would be overkill and too much.  He did such a great job and now my place is gorgeous!  We get comments constantly about how beautiful our landscaping is, especially at night. <br> <br>So, next I asked Chris to look at my sprinkler system.  He and his team went through each zone and area making sure everything was working properly and thoroughly covered.  Watching from the window, I felt like he was treating it like his own lawn and landscaping. I wish I used them from the beginning for both projects. <br> <br>Finally, I wanted to do Christmas lighting and had NY Landscape Lighting do it.  Chris helped me chose the perfect design and decorations creating a beautiful lightshow.  We also get compliments in the winter. <br> <br>I have many vendors for my property and all the renovations we did (inside and out) when we bought the house.  I can honestly say Chris is one of my favorites and I highly recommend him.  He his professional, reliable and trustworthy. <br>I only wish Angie's List let me post the pictures of my gorgeous lighting! <br>
