The company has been top of the line. They were very professional. They did an amazing job. What I wanted was did much greater than I could have ever imagine. With total remodeling of my entire home, I don’t think I could have bought a newer home with this much detail work and beauty. I would recommend NYMA to everyone, and of course if I need anything in the future, I will use them again.

My condo is OLD and difficult to work in but Kevin did an excellent job in helping me select the windows I wanted with the features I needed. Had to be very creative with this install - so far very happy!

I was impressed with Kevin, the owner, the first time he came out to look at my proposed project. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to listen to my preferences. During the project, he answered my questions and kept me updated each day on progress. Ultimately, the completed deck is a work of art - craftsmanship and attention to detail are the hallmarks of NYMA. I highly recommend Kevin and his crew for any project that involves carpentry. It was a pleasure to work with them.

Would definitely recommend! Did numerous projects in our neighborhood in Leeds, we were satisfied with each one. Finished on time, on budget, cleaned up when done. Completely remodeled our gym, did a seamless job on stone repair . We will use this company again.

Nyma Home Improvement is the bee's knees. I moved into an unevenly remodeled 90 year old house that has some bugs to be sorted out. One of which was a range that conked out within the first few months of use. The replacement range arrived about 3/4 inch wider than anticipated and needed to be placed in a granite-top island that did not have a lot of wiggle room. Mr. J gave a window of time that he could show up and arrived as anticipated. When I asked if he could move an electrical outlet to accommodate the new appliance, he called two of his crew who also arrived ready for action. Moreover, Mr J minimized the clean up for the job by asking for, then placing sheets and towels in the kitchen to capture the dust. In little time, he and his crew had wheedled the granite on the island and moved the electrical outlet to snugly fit behind the new appliance. They voluntarily swept the floors and wiped the one countertop that was not covered. It is refreshing to do business with people who have pride of ownership, a can-do attitude, and provide excellent craftsmanship. The referrals have already begun!

I hired Nyma Home Improvement after I had gotten duped by another guy familiar to this company. I was contacted by the owner, who offered an apology for the previous guy who had done just as bad. I should have followed my first mind, because I did not like his prices, but he told me that he could repair the railing on my front porch if he was hired. The project was off to a good start. My kitchen floors were replaced and looked great. However, Kevin measure the floor incorrectly, which caused me to buy almost twice as much material than I needed. Then the owner caught a cold, so his only employee was left to do the job. Although he did the best he probably could without supervision, the job turned out bad. They can not paint! They painted all over the windows in my kitchen, paint was on the appliances. The lines were very unprofessional. I asked him why weren’t they using painters tape, and his reply was amateurs use tape. I let him know that they were painting like amateurs. They took down the ceiling fan in my kitchen, but didn’t know how to install the new one, so they just left it down. He said an electrician would need to do it, and they weren’t electricians, so they left me without lights in my kitchen. When the backsplash was installed, the faceplates for the plugs or light switches were not replaced, they just left them off. They painted the cabinets with the wrong tools. I had to re-sand all the cabinets myself and repaint them myself, because they used regular paint brushes instead of cabinet door paint rollers or a paint sprayer, which left very visible stroke lines. By the end of this project, I asked Kevin if he would do his own home the same way he had done here, no reply. Then Kevin tried to tack on an additional $1200 at the end. He never gave me an itemized list for the additional charges, and could not explain the charges. He kept saying the front stairs were extra, however, it was in the original contract, with the original price. I did not pay the extra $1200, but I did pay him an additional $500 to hang a back door and change some plastic plumbing under the kitchen sink, where they were already working might I add. I was just ready for him to leave I’m still fixing things that were left undone or done poorly. Follow your first mind when dealing with your home. I’ve gotten burned twice.

"[Member Name Removed] I should have followed my first mind and not even fooled with this job. I dont like going behind another guys work in the first place. Now if you are going to give me a negative review [Member Name Removed]at least tell the truth. i said that I was sorry that guy did what he did to you. the paint that is on your windows was from a previous painter and I explained that to you. as far as your cabinets go they are 60 year old cabinets with tons of wear and tear and u expeted paint to make them look brand new. Then i told you had some bad breakers in your box and you needed to have a license electrician take a look at it. I did somehow order too much tile for the kitchen but said you would keep it because you have to do your master bathroom. I never got paint on any of your appliances you are the one that went i to that kitchen after we were do e for the day and pai ted over the cabinet doors and got paint all over the floors and countertops. Speaking of countertop that i had to make work because the previous guy bought second hand material that didnt even match up and you were supposed to pick up your switch covers and had you done so I would have installed them. and the same thing with the front porch the bottom line is you refused to pay me for it. Not to mention everytime I turned around you were constantly asking me to do other things that weren't on our contract and i did them because I was trying to help you. so if you want to give me a negative review that's fine but please tell the truth."

Mr. Jones and his crew were very professional. He kept us informed on the progress of the projects. They showed up to work on projects each day that it wasn’t raining. They kept work areas clean. Most of all, NYMA does great quality work. My husband and I are very satisfied with the job that NYMA did for us, and I’m certain that we will use Mr. Jones’ company again.

I can't explain how much my family and I were impressed with quality of the work done to our home. NYMA were very professional and also down to earth. We didnt have to peep over their shoulders and that was a relief. Thumbs up!!!!
