Oasis Tree Care

They cut my tree back to an extreme. It is now basically a tree trunk with a few branches at the top. My yard went from being a bird sanctuary to a yard void of any birds. The tree is now unsightly.

This was actually a COUPON to be used towards a much larger service.  A bait and switch.  I will be returning this deal and going with another company.

It was fine.  They were quick.  They said they was going to give me two gift cards but I only got one.  They cleaned up pretty good.

Although the person who performed service was polite and well mannered, he had way too many excuses for why it took so long to get job done, Very frustrating.

This company has the equipment to do the job, and is very experienced at using the equipment. <br />

Very well.  Despite on-going rain that kept the back yard wet and soft, along with tight working conditions and a wood chipper that could not be used in the back yard, Oasis found a creative and effective method for removing the stump and completing the job. <br />

Complete clean up, conscious of surroundings to tree that was removed. Very pleased.

I thought if could surely be done for that price - on the day of the appointment to "give me an estimate" a full crew of four or five plus a very well trained sales person arrived - I showed them another tree that could also use some "professional care" and before I knew it I was given an estimate of $1, 200.  (the cost it turns out was mainly,  to put the full crew to work) -  I was taken by surprised, thrown off guard as well as in a hurry - finally agreeing to have the work that needed done completed for $900.00 - they trimmed and pruned all of the ornamental trees and bushes in my yard in under an hour -  the labor was actually well and professionally done; but GROSSLY OVERPRICED- I was not happy because I felt as though I had been a victim of a "bait and switch" - and could have had the work done at a significantly lower price - I am still kicking myself for making the appointment for a time when I was in a hurry and allowed myself to be taken advantage of - by the way, when I paid for the service I was told to make the check out to an individual, not Oasis Tree Care.  These people may know how to trim trees, but, in my opinion, they are entirely without business ethics - I will be better prepared personally the next time I am speaking witH someone I do not personally know about preforming a service for me - I am disappointed with Angies List because I thought they would do this screening for me.  I THINK WHEN CONTRACTORS AGREE TO A "BIG DEAL" PROMOTION THEY SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO STICK WITH THE TERMS OF THE DEAL AND NOT SELL OTHER SERVICES AT THE SAME TIME.

The Estimator/Salesman arrived on time, surveyed the situation  and provided a written estimate with all services detailed and discounts applied. I gave him a deposit of $1,000. 00 by check. The crew arrived on time, worked straight thru and used climbers to cut the limbs and rope them to the ground. They managed to do the entire job without dropping a single limb on the roof. They quickly ground down all 4 stumps, buried them and packed down the dirt on top. They then hauled away all the debris. From start to finish it took about 8 hours.

Cut down one tree and grinned the stump, trimmed 3 crape myrtle trees, and trimmed and thinned an oak tree. I was not here when they came out, but my husband said it all went well and he was pleased.  By the time I came home (   3 hrs later), it was all completed and cleaned up. and they were gone.

They removed a LARGE Hackberry tree that was rotting and likely would have fallen into the middle of my house if we had been unlucky to see any hurricanes this season.They trimmed all of my other oak trees on the property and 2 large crepe myrtles away from my house.They were on time very professional and cleaned up all traces of the work.That included filling in the huge gaping spot the tree had occupied.Very pleased with results

The tree trimming was great!  I love how the open it looks now.  Such a great job was done on that.  Removal of limbs, pretty good job.  As I walked around again after they left I noticed some pieces left here and there in the back yard.  But that part wasn't anything major. Did notice that the machine used to move/remove debris dug up my lawn a little when driving back and forth over it. Clean up was ok.  A little debris was left in the street. I think it was under one of the company's trucks, so I don't think they noticed it.  I only noticed it after they left.  I don't know if they left it open because I was there, but the gate to my back yard was left wide open too.  I did think it was wonderful that when blowing away some of the debris, they took time out to blow out the leaves in my little landscaped areas. I think I will be spending my afternoon or tomorrow morning trying to make the grass look decent.  I did have quite a few leaves on the ground before they started, now most of them look crushed in the grass.  Plus add in little wood chips, and that makes the lawn just look a little messy. Still, all in all, they did a super job on the trees! <br />

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and the service did not meet my expectation. They wanted to charge me more, but I refused. We had an appointment for July 12th and they did not come out until July 16th. They guys name was Thomas Smith, and he did not honor the price of the big deal, he wanted to quote me 1,500 Dollars. The price of the big deal was good, and that was 199 Dollars for 400 Dollars worth of work, but he didn't want to honor that. I refused to pay, and so I didn't get any services. He continued to call me to change the date. I can understand that, because it had been raining, and so I had no problem with that. He came out promptly on the day that he came out but that was after many phone calls. He knew about the big deal and he did not honor it. He could have told me what he could have done for the big deal amount, he could have given me a quote for additional work, if I asked for it.

We had purchased  a big deal for the service, and they did a great job. We did not have any issues, and they were quick and fast, and they cleaned up after themselves. They are very professional, focused, went in there, did exactly what they said they had to do, they did their job, and when they left, you would never know they were there. I am thinking of calling them up again, because I have a couple of things that I need to do.

Lightning struck our large pecan tree in the back yard.    We called Oasis Tree Care and they were very responsive.  Thomas came out the following day, assessed the situation, gave us a fair price and scheduled the work for early the next week.  He realized that our tree was badly damaged and could pose a hazard, so he re-arranged his schedule to give us priority.  In the meantime, we decided that another of our large trees really needed to be removed, as well, so we called him back and he gave us a fair price for removal of the second tree, as well. <br /> He came out when he said he would, emailed us pictures of the progress while we were at work, called several times to communicate what was going on, and followed up with us that evening to make sure the work was satisfactory. <br /> The work included tree removal, grinding the stump, hauling away all debris, and cleaning up the area.  We were very pleased with the work. <br />
