Danilo, Jeff and the whole crew at Obie were great to work with. They installed a heat pump for us, and got the job done ahead of schedule. In addition to having everyone in house to do the HVAC, plumbing and electrical, they patched the walls and built a nice bench to conceal some of the ductwork. They were accessible and happy to explain everything throughout the process. We couldn't be happier, and recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price with people who not are not only experts in their field but are genuinely fun to work with.

Very well. Santiago Aguirre was the serviceman from Obie's. He was on time, very professional and answered all questions. He was also very knowledgeable about our system. I would ask for him again if service is needed.

Installation was okay, although post customer service was terrible. When asked to come back and look at the heating, since they had to disconnect the hot water pipe into air handler, they came and had to flush the water out, but charged me for it. When talked to CSR, pretty rude, made the payment for additional service, but the point is not money, after paying 10000, you would expect better results. Don't go with their service package, had called them one night for looking at heater not working, no one called back

I have been a loyal custom of Obie since 2014, their work quality was, honestly speaking, quite good. I've got whole house AC, water tank, mini-split and most recently a whole furnace job done by them. However, things have changed since last summer, when I was told there were lots of people turnover and delay of jobs. I was promised that the high-efficiency furnace qualified for 1000 rebate through MassSave, and the job was done in the summer 2019, and guess what, I have not got any rebate, not even a confirmation of rebate submission. I've called and emailed numerous times and now I have given up, really disappointed.

AC installlation is fine, but their customer service is terrible offlate. When they reconnected the heating system after installing a new air handler, they did not flush the water properly, heating performance was not good, I called them to check it out, they did come flush the system, heating was better, but now they want to charge money for the service. Sorry, I don't like companies who cannot stand by their own work. For some one who dished out $10000, I was expecting better service and peace of mind. There are ton of companies who can do a better job.

Obie did a great job on this project. Not only they came up with the best pricing, able to match what other competitors were offering, but they also most responsive, came up with a nice design using single condenser and able to put it in place on a short notice. They took care of MASSSAVE Heat Loan submission and rebates.

Obie Comfort Solutions did a great job on our air conditioning installation. Obie had a can-do attitude about where to put the air ducts because we have forced hot water heat and we needed to install the air vents and ducts. Our contemporary style house allowed Obie to suggest creative ways to connect the ducts to multiple rooms and his carpentry team did a great job boxing in the equipment and giving it a seamless look. The team painted, cleaned up and were courteous. Vicki was excellent at helping us navigate the MASS SAVE rebate and financing programs. The heat pump allowed us to get a rebate on a better unit, and gives us an extra heat source for this coming winter. Only request is for better communication when schedules changed during the install. I would highly recommend Obie and his team especially for a retrofit a/c installation.

I had Obie do some work previously and they were fine but I will not be using them again after a recent experience. I returned home from a vacation on a Sunday night to a central air conditioner not working. I know a little about air conditioners so I likely would have been able to repair the unit with a few hours to troubleshoot but the bad timing and a little one at home meant I needed a professional. I called Obie the following morning and was given a window of 4-6pm for a technician. The cost would be $129 just to dispatch the tech then any parts and labor. It was an emergency call so fair enough, I agreed and made the appointment. I took off from work early to meet the tech and got home at 3:55. Around 4:05, I received an automated text asking me to rate my experience. I called Obie in a panic thinking I missed the tech but I got a third party answering service who would give Obie the message to call me back. I explained what happened but didn't hear back. At 6pm, I call again but get the same answering service so now I'm assuming they aren't coming. Around 6:45, I get a call back from someone at Obie saying there was a scheduling error and the tech is on his way. At least they are still coming. Around 7:15 pm the tech arrives and confirms they had a dispatch error and he's been waiting around for since his previous appointment at 4 pm(!) to hear where to go next. This is obviously upsetting since I called at 4pm when I got the text message and didn't hear back for hours. Mistakes happen and I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt until the bill came. The tech diagnosed to problem quickly and made the repair in (and I'm being generous) about 20 minutes. The issue was a bad "dual run cap," which for the layman is basically just a big battery that provides some extra juice on startup. $538 total, for 20 minutes work. $129 to come out and $409 for the capacitor. The work was already done so I felt I had no choice but to pay. I also wasn't sure off the top of my head what a capacitor costs so again, I just paid the bill. Maybe they are more than I thought? The next day I took the panel off the AC to find the new capacitor installed. I noted the model number, did a quick google search and found the part direct from the manufacturer is $23. The following day I called Obie to ask if my bill was right. I was told a manager would call me back. No call back. The following day I call again and this time I get transferred to a manager right away. I explain that $409 for 20 minutes of work and a $23 dollar part felt excessive but they confirmed I was billed correctly. That price includes stocking the part, overhead, etc. etc. I was informed that I also could have saved some money if I was a member or something along those lines. I'm sorry but $409 to install a $23 dollar part in less than 20 minutes is extremely excessive. I had Obie perform a larger project and they had a competitive price but in an emergency situation, they didn't hesitate to take advantage. I will not be using them again.

I’m the Senior VP of Client Support for a major computer firm. Therefore, I am very sensitive to exceptional customer support and critical of all elements of poor support. Our on site service specialist was Andrey Camargo . Andrey was extremely professional from the time he arrived until he successfully completed his visit. He notified VIA text with his picture when he would arrive and was right on time. Each step of his services were documented and explained to us. He did what was required not looking for other issues to extend a charge. He made recommendations for the future service requirements. At one point he detailed our outside units to make them look new. Nobody has ever taken the time to do this. I recommend Obie to all my friends and I have their sign in my front yard to share with others

My husband and I bought a condo in Waltham and called Obie VERY last minute to install 3 ductless ac units in our new 1500sf home. They offered a very reasonable quote (that came in roughly $4,000 less than other quotes we received) and they promised to do their best get us installed within a 2-week timeframe. Upon hearing that we were moving into our new home with a toddler during a heat advisory, they bumped up our appointment to just a few days later. They had originally said that the install would take up to 4 days but with some sort of amazing magic, they did the entire installation in just one day. We are so, so grateful for the incredible speed, professionalism and above all, kindness that Obie showed us throughout this process. Thank you so, so much, Obie Team!!! We deeply appreciate the beautiful units, clean installation and cool air!

The entire team at Obie comfort solutions was spectacular. We received a visit and estimate promptly. Once we decided to move forward appointments were made quickly and kept. Any time the team experienced travel delays they were communicated in advance. They completed the work promptly and all my outstanding issues such as wall patching, painting and securing condenser out doors to the pavement with bolts were resolved quickly and professionally. Couldn't be happier with the customer service or quality of work.

Serious problem identified January 30th, 2019. Improper valves on two furnaces. This problem had gone undetected for more than two years, despite clear markings on valves that they were for Liquid Propane (LP) not natural gas, which had been changed in April 2016 when we purchased the property. Per technician, this could cause the Heat Exchanger to burn out prematurely, and it prevented him from setting the gas pressure to 3.5, from the 7 it was when he checked it. Owner indicated on January 30th that problem would be taken care of expeditiously. Four months later, issue has not been resolved, and repeated calls, messages have been ignored by owner! I would even question if the company has properly trained licensed their technicians, because if they had, this serious, and potentially dangerous problem would not have gone undetected for over two years! If I could give a Negative rating, this company would get a minus 10!

Problem identified 1/30/2019. Liquid Propane(LP) valves had never been changed to natural gas when property was purchased in April, 2016. Technician indicated: 1. Incorrect valve could cause Heat Exchanger to burn our prematurely 2. Pressure at 7, couldn't be re-set to proper pressure of 3.5 because of missing part 3. Clearly marked label "LP" had been ignored for over two years! Owner spoken to on 1/30/2019. Promised expeditious repair. Four months later and no action has been taken. Have contacted owner and company multiple times with NO RESPONSE, and no corrective action taken!

Danielo was the service technician who quickly diagnosed the problem with my furnace. He was very professional and thorough. He had worked on this system before and identified the problem quickly.

They did an awesome job. Have been very responsive on a couple of minor service calls.

An induced fan and 2 hrs service call should not cost $1100. This was absolutely over the top. I am not sure what they think. I had to stay with them because it broke in the middle of cold days and they were the original installers. Next time I need think twice.

Recently, I had a whole-house humidifier installed by Obie Comfort Solutions. On Saturday, two days after the install, I noticed a small water leak coming from the drain fitting on the bottom of the unit. I paced a call to Obie and, despite it being a Saturday and bitterly cold, a technician came within an hour and quickly resolved the problem. While it was a minor issue and did not cause any serious damage, I placed a call a couple of days later to Oberlan Rosa, the owner, to tell him about the issue and that I was still uncertain if the humidifier was working the way it was supposed to. I also suggested that some additional training on how to properly test and complete a job might minimize similar problems like mine. Oberlan listened intently and agreed with my suggestions. To my surprise, however, he offered to visit my home personally with a senior technician the next morning to look at the installed humidifier to ensure that it was operating properly and to my satisfaction. Minor changes in wiring were made and and Oberlan further explained how the unit should operate. While at my home, he even called the humidifier’s manufacturer to verify certain operating features. After Oberlan and his technician finished their work, it now appears that the unit is now operating properly. The dedication and commitment to me that Oberlan and the Obie Comfort Solutions team demonstrated to resolve my issue was far beyond what I expected. I assume that this approach is typical when dealing with all their customers. Oberlan and his team should be congratulated for the way they perform. Their efforts were greatly appreciated!

Overall Obie and team is excellent to work with, they have a full crew to respond to any situation and curve ball that may be thrown there way, my project was delayed due to their supplier shortcomings and then it caused Obie to scramble to get supplies causing them to start work late in the day but in the end they got the job done by installing a tankless water heater and dehumidifier in my home. Overall I would recommend them again, all are very professional from Obie, Ariane, Andrey and backup technicians and crew.
