OCD Cleaning & Organizing

I?ve used this company twice <br /> now and it?s not the workers or the quality of work that?s an issue. It?s the <br /> owner, Teresa Miller. <br /> This lady has some MAJOR <br /> character flaws. Be careful. She can tend to gauge and she?s very <br /> unprofessional. Your $150.00 will pay for three hours and two workers. But she?s <br /> going to ask you what you want done; the most important to the least important. <br /> Then, her workers will spend those three hours doing the most important thing <br /> on your list while. Once those three hours are up she?ll then want to charge an <br /> additional amount for whatever else you want done. <br /> For example, the first time I <br /> used her I requested two bathrooms cleaned. Not a three hours job right? Wrong. <br /> They spent the whole three hours cleaning two bathrooms and wanted to charge me <br /> more to clean the blinds and window seals. <br /> This time, I requested my <br /> walls wiped down, stove and refrigerator cleaned. I also decided to monitor the <br /> progress via phone. They spent three hours doing the walls, base boards and <br /> doors. I didn?t ask for the base boards and doors. When I asked about the stove <br /> and refrigerator she wanted to charge extra. <br /> So, I?m come the conclusion <br /> that her goal is to make $300 to $400 per call. <br /> If you can at all help be <br /> there to monitor the work and progress. Make sure you get your three hours? <br /> worth. Have them start where you want them to start first. You be the <br /> instructor. Don?t leave it up to Teresa. She does not have your best interest <br /> at heart. <br /> <br /> <br />

I would say they do a good job. The problem is that sometimes the price for what you first agree upon changes before the job is done. Often, you end up paying for add-ons at the end of the job that you thought were included in the original agreement and for the original price.  |They do a great job, however.

I think the ladies did a pretty good job considering how much work needed to be done; however, they overcharged me for coming back for a general clean. I was charged the same amount for a general clean and a top to bottom clean. I was charged per hour per person, which is not correct. Cleaning companies are suppose to charge per hour.  Also let me note that they had to come back to clean stuff that they didn't do for the top to bottom clean. I am very disappointed that it didn't work out with them. The owner was very disorganized and didn't seem like she wanted my business. If anyone decides to use this company, make sure you have a signed contract so everybody is on the same page.

These girls are da bomb!  I definitely got my money's worth.  Deep cleaned my home top to bottom - my bathroom floor has never been so white!  I'm so OCD - I've never been pleased with anyone who's cleaned my home before because they couldn't do it my way - the right way!  OCD Cleaning is appropriately named because they clean my way - the right way!  Hallelujah!  Set up now for them to continue doing their magic in my home!  Yay! <br />

They did a great job. I have recommended them to my friends. She was very efficient and on the ball. They cleaned well and did a thorough job.

Fantastic job. The two ladies arrived and went right to work. They were very hard working and performed way beyond what I expected. Well worth the money!!!! As a single man, I had let the housekeeping get way behind and they arrived and jumped right in and went to work. I was very impressed. <br />

Teresa came to my home within 2 hours of finding her on Angie's List. She brought a team of workers that worked well together. There were 2 instances of workers that we felt weren't as productive as I wanted, so Teresa replaced them. This project began with a garage full of boxes and several rooms of unpacked, disorganized household items. OCD had a systematic plan of attack, that took what was an overwhelming project for one overworked wife, to a manageable project with their help! After four days with OCD, I was able to host my first family gathering on the 4th of July. I still have a lot of work that needs to be done, but by and far, I would never have been able to get to this point alone. The things that need to be completed are neatly organized and labelled in boxes that I can work on at my leisure. <br />

They did a great job and were very detailed.  My wife is very picky and often had issues with other cleaning companies we had used.  However, she's been very pleased with this company as have I. <br /> As other reviews have said, the owner is a little scatterbrained and long winded.  However, she's very nice and wants to do what's best for her customers, so I can look past this.  Everyone has their quirks. <br /> They also accept payment via credit card.  This was a nice change from the other companies, which have either required you to leave cash / check, or mail a check payment. <br />

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for OCD Cleaning and Organizing. My experience with them was not good. They left cigarette butts right outside my door. It was not a thorough job. I had them come back after that and she had quoted me a price to do the house. After she did the house, she wanted more money than what she told me he was gonna charge me. She just wasn't very professional and I told her not to come back.

Theresa was prompt when she came to give me an estimate and we settled <br /> on a price for my move-out cleaning.  She and her team came back after I <br /> had moved out and cleaned the house from top to bottom, including <br /> blinds, windows, stove, refrigerator and fireplace.  I had hired someone <br /> else to clean the carpets but she had them ready so my carpet steam <br /> cleaning bill was a minimum.  Theresa called me back after the job was <br /> complete to see if I was satisfied and, if I had not, she was prepared <br /> to return and "get it right".  If I still lived in Brandon, I'd hire her <br /> again. <br />

I am thoroughly impressed.  Came on time as promised and worked late until the job was done.  Great attention to detail.  Teresa inspected behind her assistant meticulously and had her re-accomplish several tasks  to ensure quality.  Great Job! <br />        <br />

I am semi invalid and gave directions. They also packed & catalogged my dead husbands walkin closet and armoire.

The owner is very disorganized and scatter brained about appt dates, times, etc.  The cleaning ladies were very honest and trust worthy and tried to do the best they could in the time they were allotted by the owner.

The best organizer I have seen !! The way she's pays attention to detail is wonderful. Her staff listens and are all around good and friendly people !! I have used then several times since April of 2012 . I Highly recommit anyone to use this company !! <br />

We hired Magic Touch based on reviews on AngiesList. This was to be a very detailed cleaning requiring hours of work and much effort. Teresa Miller, who owns the maid service, is great to deal with and is always available by phone. Ms. Miller also was more than willing to try to make right details that were missed the first time around. The problem is that the cleaning cost $525 and was intended to clean everything from floor to ceiling. The two ladies that came to clean the house were friendly enough but failed to clean the upper reaches of our master closet and remove a pet stain on the carpet along with a few other minor items. After discussing this with Ms. Miller the ladies again failed to clean the top portions of the master closet during their next visit. Considering the high cost of the visit and the fact that the closet was not properly cleaned during two consecutive visits, we felt the price was too high and the quality lacking. The D rating for Professionalism is because our son and some neighborhood children found a cigarette in our driveway after the maids had left. No one that I know in our neighborhood smokes. I told Ms. Miller about this incident and she promised to provide additional training to her staff. This is something that should not require training, however, in my opinion. Folks should know better than to allow their trash to find its way into someone's driveway. Especially after just cleaning their home. On a good note, the maids were punctual, friendly and Ms. Miller is professional and courteous which is the only reason we're giving Magic Touch another chance. <br /> <br /> Update 2/24/12: Two weeks ago we left a check out on our counter to pay for that day's cleaning. The check went missing and was not found. Ms. Miller, the owner, did agree to absorb the stop payment fee which was nice but on top of the previous problems this was an unwanted aggravation. Today I received a call from Ms. Miller telling me that our front door was locked and her cleaners could not get in to clean. I knew I had unlocked the door but I called my wife to leave her work and go and determine what was the problem. Turns out the cleaning crew was sitting on the front porch of our neighbor's home despite the fact that one of the crew had actually cleaned our home within the last few months. Ms. Miller should have asked the cleaners to confirm their location. The thought had crossed my mind while talking to Ms. Miller that the cleaning crew may be at the wrong house but I didn't mention this because I thought the idea improbable. I told my wife I had failed to mention my thought to Ms. Miller which caused her to become upset since she had to leave work early for no good reason. Ms. Miller laughed when I told her that my wife was very upset with the whole situation. This is why I marked down the grade for Professionalism to an F. A service owner should be very careful about laughing at the misfortunes of a customer, especially when the owner has caused those misfortunes. The bottom line is that we'll never use Magic Touch again. We have had  numerous problems in the few months we have used them and it appears that the problems are getting worse and not better. I believe in second chances but we're beyond that with this company.

My experience was different, they cleaned about 80% of what I wanted. It was not what they could not do, it was that they just did not do it. The owner also kept changing the amount for the job each time.

They came in, all polite, kind workers - and they worked like an army from the time they arrived to the time they left. The difference in them and the other workers I had in the past was remarkable. First of all, they don't talk on cell phones. They get on ladders and clean everything from the base boards to the ceiling fans, windows, refrigerator etc.  They will do just about anything you ask them to do. But if you don't ask them to do anything, they know what needs to be done and they don't fool around, they get it done. When finished, I noticed a big difference in my house -  unlike I had experience with the former cleaners I used. I would hire them again. I wish I could afford to hire them more often,

It was refreshing to deal with professionals that truly understands cleaning. We are extremely pleased with their work and will continue to use them regularly for routine cleaning.

Every time is perfect...Today made me want to submit a report. I was cleaning the sheets on my bed and the sheets were in the dryer. I had gotten caught up with something else and didn't have time to make the bed before Theresa's cleaning ladies came over. I walked in teh master bedroom to find that the ladies had taken the sheets out of teh dryer and made the bed for me. This is an example of teh service your will get with Theresa's company.
