Ocean Kitchen & Bath

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Norm, Sean, Jim and the crew. From cradle to grave, this has been the easiest remodeling project I have ever undertaken. They were one of two crews that were willing to do the work in my kitchen, and they were the ONLY crew willing to do all of it, and correctly. I received excellent service, salesmanship and a 100% no BS policy. They showed up early for the prep work by one day, and handled business for the next 10 days, no complaints, and no issues. My kitchen looks like something from a magazine now and we're talking an update from a 1950s galley-style, row home kitchen. I couldn't be happier.

Love, love, love our new kitchen. We did a major renovation changing 3 rooms into 1 large. The guys at Ocean K&B were wonderful. They: always asked my opinion, kept me informed, treated us, our home and each other with respect, kept clean and did expert work. We lived in the house while the rennovation occurred so trust me when I say I asked many questions. I was always met with a happy face and knowledgeable answer. So happy I chose them. Our colaboration produced a kitchen more beautiful than I could have imagined. I do recommend and will use in the future.

They are very good at what they do. The owner himself is a very hard worker, who actually worked with the employees. They did the work in various stages. They are very attentive to detail.

the service was very good. they were efficiennt and clean. they promise the work to be done. they did it very well and very detailed work. the owner is there to supervise making sure it was done right, he is very accountable.

Sean was fantastic to work with; he listened, understood what we were looking for, and delivered a concept that pretty much had it all. But the true master was Joe who actually had to execute it; which he did flawlessly. His attention to detail was admirable, and appreciated! We definitely plan to work with them again.

It was a wonderful experience working with Sean and Norman and the entire crew at Ocean Kitchen and Bath. They helped us create the "spa bathroom" that we had envisioned. This project was a nightmare. When we dealt with the company's sales rep, Sean, we were very optimistic (and it's worth noting that he remained extremely helpful and professional throughout all of the trials and tribulations). However, once the work began, we encountered problems from Day One. The contractors did not haul away the debris as they were supposed to, and instead left it in our condo community's garage. Workers showed up late. As time went on, a different cast of characters arrived at our house every day, deadlines were over-promised and under-delivered. But, by far the most egregious offense was when a sub-subcontractor, having a dispute with Ocean's subcontractor, RIPPED OUT ALL OF OUR CABINETS, along with our new dishwasher, when the kitchen was almost complete. Eventually, the job was finished after many weeks, and after we insisted that they find a new subcontractor to complete the work. Overall, this was a horrible experience, one that involved us calling the police, and despite getting a good discount after everything that happened, I would never, ever recommend using Ocean Kitchen & Bath.

"3-6 week job" dragged on for nearly 4 months and in the end was never completed. I had to complete trim work myself and hire an electrician to fix poor-quality work. Had to have the job painted twice. The first painter was clearly not a professional (painted over door hardware, left splatters on the new wood floor). Counter installation (while I was out of town) happened without the an Ocean rep on-site. I had to have a portion re-installed due to an erro and Ocean left it to me to deal with the sub-contractor. I spent so much time (over 4 months) dealing with sub-contractors and Ocean to get issues completed ( and finally gave up) that I should've just GC'd the project myself. I tried to stay quiet and not micro-manage the work myself but in hind-sight I should've questioned every step. I thought I paid for that peace of mind, but was clearly wrong.

I requested estimates from 3 different companies. The first estimator (lowest estimate) was somewhat rush, he said he has 3 more jobs to go to, just did the measurement and left, without offered any design ideas. The second estimator was better (estimate turns out to at the middle range), he spent a little more time than the first estimator, however I have to say his design ideas were so-so, not sure if that's the right word... Sean was the third estimator, he was the most detailed, take his time to help design the small kitchen, he looked at every detail to make the best use of limit space. And he also provide a computer generated 3D design via email. At the end, we selected Sean and Ocean kitchen, the entire process was easy and stress free. Sean and his installers were polite, friendly and easy to work with. Their estimate were roughly 15% more than the middle estimate but their work was excellent, it is truly "you get what you pay for".

I was finally ready to update my old, sixty's bathroom. After several quotes and no shows, I found Ocean on Angie's List and had Sean come to my home for an exchange of ideas and a preliminary quote which was in my ballpark. I was invited to their showroom where I really began to visualize my new bathroom, along with Sean's help, and pick out furnishings and materials. A three man crew came out and got things started. My old bathroom was literally gutted and re-built, and the guys did a very good, professional job. I am very happy with my new bath. The project took a little longer than I hoped, but worth it.

<p>Our new kitchen included new flooring, which extended into joining laundry room (we chose porcelain tile),  level 1 granite counter top, tile backsplash, paint, new cabinets, and electrical work (we replaced a big light with 4 recessed lights, and moved the location of our appliances.)</p> <p>New half bathroom included new vanity, granite counter top, flooring (which extended into the entry way), paint, and they installed a new toilet, mirror and light fixture which we purchased separately. <br><br>Ocean's estimate was the best we received. (One contractor gave an estimate for just refacing cabinets which was almost as much as Ocean's for brand new ones.) They also had great reviews on Angie's List so we decided to go with them. We worked with Sean. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with.<br><br>Our installers were a team of 3 that worked very efficiently and cleaned up after each work day.<br><br>There were a few hiccups along the way, but I think that can be expected when doing such a major job. Both Sean, and the installers made sure that we were happy in the end. <br><br>We would definitely use them again. The price was great, as was the quality of work and professionalism. </p> <p>We are very happy with our kitchen and bathroom.</p> <p><br></p>

Ocean Kitchen and Bath installed a wet bar with sink in our lower level.  We found the service to be excellent, highly competent and courteous.  This was a complex installation requiring on-site work to tie in the Sile-stone back-splash and the cabinet crown molding.  Our installers "Bucket and Jose" did and excellent job, even working on a rainy day.  We highly recommend Ocean Kitchen and Bath.  Our salesperson, Sean, followed up every step of the way on our project.  In short, Great Job!

I think I met every employee of the company and they were all friendly, professional and very easy to work with.  Answered all questions quickly and resolved the small issues that always come up in a pleasant, prompt manner.  I was given guidance when I asked questions and I was very pleased with the final outcome.

I had no intentions of replacing my kitchen cabinets at my newly purchased house, but after visiting this place I was absolutely trilled with the selection and price. Staff and Uran in particular was very helpful during my selection process.Talking about cabinet quality is another reason I decided do change my cabinets. This is not one of those cheap cabinets made of particle board. All the cabinets they were offering me were made of wood and plywood. <br /> Everyone who steps into my kitchen immediately notices that luxury look and asks for the company's contact information. <br /> Five stars service and quality!

Angie's List members need to know that Ocean Kitchen and Bath is awesome. We bought a new house last year which needed a complete kitchen redo ripping out everything back to the studs. I had read the reviews in Angie's List and we headed down to see Ocean Kitchen and Bath. Not really knowing at all what we wanted to do - we were really just looking for ideas - but Ocean Kitchen and Bath was immediately helpful throwing some great suggestions out at us.  <br /> We arranged for him to come up to the house to measure up the kitchen. The kitchen space wasn't exactly large and we were planning to knock out a wall through to the dining room but Ocean Kitchen and Bath took it all in his stride and within a couple of days he had come up some great plans for the kitchen. He was then very patient with us while we decided on cabinet finishes and countertop. He steered us towards some great cabinets which had maximum flexibility for sizing and that had a great discount on them. Once we'd decided on the kitchen cabinet finish he let us borrow one of his show room doors to go and compare against countertops and tiles so we could make sure everything matched. <br /> Anyway, to cut a long story short, our kitchen is awesome. The pricing I felt was very competitive and the service far superior to what you would get at Home Depot, etc. I think Ocean Kitchen and Bath put together a design which maximized countertop space, put the appliances in the best places and minimized dead space. We love being in our kitchen. Thanks Ocean Kitchen and Bath!!!

Great customer service.  The staff at Ocean Kitchen and Bath worked with me until I was happy with the design of my kitchen.  Everything was completed on time and as promised.  I shopped around at lots of other well known big box stores and OKAB  was by far has the best price and the highest quailty kitchen cabinets of any of them. The product turned out beautiful.  I would definitely refer them to anyone looking for a kitchen remodel.  100% satisfied customer.

These guys are awesome, they did exactly how i wanted for my budget. I got very nice cabinets for a lot cheaper than other providers that i have been. The project went threw very smooth that in 2 weeks everything was done. i was without my kitchen only for 10 days or so. Now my favorite place in my house is my new kitchen that looks and feels awesome. I want to  do my bath next year with these guys. I totally satisfied how they handle everything. <br />   I was very picky in terms of cabinet quality and style but Thanks for Mark and Sean that helped me a lot in terms of giving me advice to which one i should go with. <br />  I only can say Thank you! for Ocean Kitchen company that made me even more happier!
