We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work performed. We had such a positive experience with O’Dell Contracting Inc. on a recent major home repair job that we immediately contracted with them to replace the roof on our 27 year old house. I recommend O’Dell Contracting Inc. without reservation! It has been my experience that Dean O’Dell takes an active interest in making sure that home remodeling work is done in a quality manner.

The addition that he designed and built was an excellent solution to our problem. It is both functionally sound (with a heater, fan and windows) and aesthetically pleasing (it matches the architecture of the rest of our house). O’Dell Contracting also repaired and replaced damaged paneling in our first-floor home office while doing an outstanding job of matching the existing wood stain. Other aspects of the repair project included drywall repair and replacement of carpeting and tile in two additional rooms which were also impacted. I recommend O’Dell Contracting Inc. without reservation! Dean O’Dell definitely takes an active interest in making sure that the repair job is done in a quality and timely manner.

Came to my residence, took measurements, contacted a metal fabricator to who also came to my residence to review the work needed ,made the door from aluminum and installed it. O'Dell contracting called me to follow up and tell me when job would be completed.This is a reliable contractor who kept in contact to let me know the date it would be installed. After the job was completed he contacted me to ask if the work was satisfactory.I would recommend this contractor for any home remodeling.He is to be graded as an A-1 Contractor.

My aunts house is 175 years old and it had layers upon layers of wallpaper with the final topping a spray on popcorn type of plaster over every wall in the house. Odell came in and scraped each wall in 6 rooms and a entrance way that was 3 stories high. Once he scraped the walls he coated the walls to make them smooth. During the process each room had it own unique challenges. One room had to have the ceiling removed and rebuilt. The hall way wall had to be taken down to the studs and re built. The dust was horrific but ODell did an amazing job of keeping each room contained while they were working on that room. After the walls were done being scraped and sealed he painted each wall in the house. As the project progressed ODell often took it upon himself to make very valid and Creative suggestion to make the end product even more spectacular. Also while this project was going on my 80 year old Aunt was still living in the house so he did Everything in his power to keep her stress level low. ODell was ALWAYS on time and ALWAYS in a good mood. Based on my project my neighbors have also hired him for some of their big projects. As the project progressed my aunt would often times make changes to the original plan. ODell did EVERYTHING in his powers to comply with her request and keep within the budget. The end product has produced a home that is worthy to Be a house tour. In Fact My Aunt was asked to put her house on next years house tour. WITHOUT HESITATION I would recommend ODELL!! Oh I forgot to tell you each room also had the old carpet removed and replaced. In addition to having the house done he also redid her small brick court yard more about that in a different review.

Started on the right foot by meeting me on the same day as I originally called, and giving me a reasonable quote. I was pressed for time as I wanted to get the work done before moving in. Dean was very responsive to my needs, communicated very well, and finished on time. He went out of his way to help me -- he noticed that there was some furniture on the garage and volunteered to help me move it up two flights of stairs at no extra charge. All in all a great experience - highly recommend and will use again! <br />

He is easy to communicate with.  He listens to what you want and pays attention to details. He has proved to be very knowledgeable and provided great contacts and alternatives in multiple areas. This review is long overdue.  Dean and his crew did an excellent job.  I purchased a "contractor for a week" big deal last summer and was very pleased with the amount and quality of work that was done.  First, I was in a bind because I was building a deck myself that had a deadline.  I needed steps built so I called up Dean and told him my deadline.  He was able to squeeze me in to his schedule, even though it was very short notice, to get the steps done.  A few weeks later, I scheduled to have him install two sets of French doors. They were on time and did a great job.  To finish off my big deal, I had Dean build the foundation to a shed I was building.  That was the hardest part.  Again, he came on the scheduled day and completed the project very much to my satisfaction.  I would definitely use this provider again and actually have a few projects coming up that I will be calling about.

Had some trouble with communication. I would recommend this company. Dean O'Dell owns this company and tries to make everything work. A lot of the problem were with subcontractors. Dean is very honest and professional. We would use him definitely again!

He did not finish the job. He demanded cash for the entire project. When I asked him to put a lock on the fence door he wanted to charge me and extra $160 to do it. I would never use them again.

Dean O'Dell responded promptly to my request for estimate to build a detached building (2-car garage with workshop) in my back yard. Will use shortly for bath remodel.  Contractor is well worth the money, best kept secret in North Hills!

We really like O'Dell and are extremely pleased. He was on the job site every day and I don't see that every day. He is probably going to be the one to do our bathroom, but we like to get other estimates. You don't get service like that. He was not the cheapest or most expensive, but we felt like he did a really quality job and thoroughly recommend him. He also put a garage on for us.  If there was a problem he was here promptly to take care of anything and he checked with us every night to make sure everything was the way it was supposed to be. I can't say enough nice things about him. He always returns our phone calls.

I was not there while the work was being done, so I cannot say what time the crew arrived each day or how many hours they worked. When I did arrive everything was cleaned up, nothing was damaged and the walls and patio were beautiful. <br /> <br /> <br /> Dean, along with his crew, did exactly what he said he would do in the amount of time he said it would take for the price he estimated.  What more can ask for?
