OHIO VALLEY RESTORATION

The staff was wonderful, though they did not communicate very well, so we never knew when they were gonna be there. They were very nice and professional, but it took 6 months to do the job.

Went very well especially since many services/companies were occupied. OVR was very responsive to our needs. <br />

Came ASAP after phone call to scheduler, gave me a detailed list with costs upfront of service, unlike another repair we used in early January which gave me a quote that was $100 under their final bill.  They put in fans and dehumidifiers both on main floor and in basement. Service man, Mitchell,  was so very polite and friendly, with good advice on issue of repairs- still in our future. Came on schedule, called ahead of time with time frame- appreciated diligence and response time. Would use their services again-but hoping for no more frozen water pipes!  Price was in line with insurance estimate. <br />

Ohio Valley did a wonderful job.  They came out within hours of us calling and sucked all the standing water out of the carpets.  They then set up tons of industrial fans and dehumidifiers to pull out the rest of the moisture and came back daily to check on progress.  After a day or two, they pulled up the carpet in places, removed baseboards, and drilled holes in the drywall to make sure the carpet padding and walls were drying completely.  Then after ~ a week, they came back, reinstalled the carpet, and then cleaned and deodorized it.  We thought we would have to replace everything, but Ohio Valley did a great job.  They were professional, punctual, and thorough. <br />

After a hard rain, we had 9 inches of water in our lower level.  Many people needed help and many companies couldn't get a crew to us, but Ohio Valley Restoration pulled one together and had them to our house within 90 minutes.  They quickly assessed the situation and developed a plan of action, which they shared with us.  Then they worked straight through the night to help us through our emergency.  At each new step, they took the time to explain what they were doing and made sure we were okay with the process.  They provided good counsel and guidance as to what we could keep and what needed to be discarded because of water damage.  They were attentive to making sure that the situation did not get worse by taking preventative measures to address mold issues.   <br /> OVR did a terrific job in helping us through an emergency.  They were highly responsive; thoroughly professional; extraordinarily polite; and wonderfully committed to make our experience as painless as possible.  Even at 3 a.m. their attitude was refreshingly upbeat and helped us deal with a wholly unexpected problem.   <br /> While I never hope to have to use their services again; if I did, I certainly would call them - and suggest that you do if you ever find yourself with water in your basement.

THEY MOVE FURNITURE AND WILL MOVE IT BACK WHEN THEY ARE DONE AND ALWAYS PUT PLASTIC UNDERNEATH ANYTHING THAT COULD LEAVE A RUST STAIN. THEY HAVE BEEN OWNED BY THE SAME OPERATOR SINCE THEY BEGAN THEIR BUSINESS.
