Old World Masonry

The work was done expertly and very fast. We anticipated 2-weeks but was completed in old 1 -week. Don Landsman is an outstanding craftsman who did a remarkable job of transforming a terrible mess into a wonderful looking garden. He was prompt, kept in touch during the whole process by E-,mail, and managed to work in =a very difficult hilly site. He gave us a quote very quickly and kept within the the quote that he gave. It was an outstanding experience. We would highly recommend him to anybody who requires stone-work to be done.

We cannot say enough about Don and his work. He was always professional and patient with us as we worked through what exactly we wanted. His work is outstanding - we had neighbors complimenting us on our wall and stopping us in the street to give their seal of approval. Don also works with an excellent electrician and asphalt paver/excavator, and the work was seemless to complete the project with lighting on the pillars and a newly repaved driveway. Don and his team are true artists and we could not be happier with the results.

Don is AWESOME! Don showed up and we immediately felt comfortable with him. He seemed like a down to earth, honest guy who was willing to make our vision a reality. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted the patio around the pool to look like. I had created a very detailed paving pattern, and Don was totally honest that he had never done it before but he was confident he could do it. He didn't complain or moan or say how hard it would be, he just did it. He and Pat (his right hand man) were totally professional, showed up every day early worked quickly. He was meticulous with his leveling. It has been a few months now since the job was completed and every stone is still perfect and everything is draining beautifully. He has a very unique technique, and it shows in the quality of the finished product. Well done!!!!!

Don Landsman the owner of Old World Masonry replaced our front entrance landing and put in a whole new walkway leading to the front entrance landing. Don and his helper created a look that was very pleasing and complimentary to the whole house look. Originally the house used brick but Don replaced it with flag stone. He came as promised and did a highly quality job. The work was done in October of 2014. Don even reseeded and brought in dirt to have the lawn slope in the right direction for water run off. <br /> It was a harsh winter and the grout between some of the stones cracked. I called Don and he said he guarantees his work. All I can say is that Don is a man of his word. He and his helper came by yesterday, April 27th and redid all the cracks with new joints. Today he acid washed.  <br /> I cannot say enough of how impressed I was with Don's attention to details and his professionalism. You cannot go wrong if you have Old World Masonry do you next project. <br />

Flagstone walkway and new stairs. It went fantastic! I love it.

Kevin and group took down and rebuilt our retaining wall.  It was a great job, creative and well built.  We would certainly use them again.

My front step and walkway had settled and come away from the front stoop and he fixed it. I would highly recommend them. He was responsive, he called right back when I left a message. He came when he was supposed to, did what he was supposed to, did it under what he quoted me. He was just great and very professional.

He did a great job. He was reliable, clean, and neat. He was very personable and honored the price quoted. His prices were also lower than other estimates I received.

It was a Big Deal that I purchased. They did a nice job. They were professional and showed up on time. They did the work that I asked them to do. They cleaned up well. I would use them again.

<br />   Tom had a consult with us to get our ideas on what we required to make the front entrance wheelchair accessible. He had many good ideas so that it would be functional but not look institutional. The end result was beautiful and functional.  The work was done in a timely and professional manner. The project was completed within the agreed upon price.

Their professionalism and clean up was outstanding. They were efficient, polite, and very professional. They worked hard and got the work done in an appropriate amount of time. They were very easy to reach with questions and concerns. They did a great job!

My interaction with them was very positive. We got exactly what we were promised and he suggested improvements to the job like the thickness of the stone and the way it was applied.

A highly satisfying experience overall. We had spotted his work at a neighbor's and called him. From the time of the first estimate to completion, the schedule and pricing were close to what was promised. There were no surprises, save for the exceptional results which exceeded our expectations. Don is an experienced stonemason who really knows his craft, and he personifies a willingness to please the client at all costs: no lame excuses, no equivocating.
