Absolutely terrific service. A+ to the woman who answered the phone. She explained my choices thoroughly. And A+ to Terry, the technician who came out a couple days later. He was thorough, explained the contract, and came on the early side of the two-hour window (which I had requested). He made me feel safe about having pets in the house, explaining all the different green and less green options. I showed him around to the areas where ants had been. He also took care of the perimeter of the house and garden. The ants are gone. But, if they come back, they offer a four-week guarantee. I'd absolutely use Omega again.

I am so glad I found Omega Pest Control. They were out to see me immediately and helped put my mind at ease regarding the rats that had entered my home. They are experts in addressing rats and exceptionally professional. Every single visit was met with swiss style punctuality. The representatives were intelligent, professional and took the time to explain what was happening and how I could prevent further rat intrusions. Omega helped me fix all of the areas that were entry points and did a thorough clean up. If you have the unfortunate experience of having rats come into your house, Omega is a fantastic company to work with.

Omega was the group hired by the listing real estate agent for a house we purchased in Oakland; the inspection suggested that there was termite activity and that "further inspection was needed." We called to schedule service as soon as we purchased the house; they were booking 4 weeks out. We also had them come back to do the "further inspection" where they basically said that there's a portion of the house that's inaccessible and would need to have the structural reinforcement of the foundation removed in order to access it for treatment which would cost an additional $1500. Why they couldn't have said that on the original report is beyond me. <br /> <br />Fast forward and the day of our appointment comes. I took off a half day from work and they no-showed. I called to follow up and they said, "sorry, we had to fire a guy." So apparently they fire people without rescheduling their appointments. To me, a lack of customer service is the biggest red flag when it comes to using a service company. They made no amends for wasting my time and so I'll be paying an extra amount to have a different group come inspect. <br />

"I spoke with [Member name removed] on 12/2/15 and explained the reason we did not show up for our appointment was that the job somehow was not placed in our scheduling book. We were not aware a customer was waiting for us to arrive. I also didn't realize that [Member name removed] took time off from work to meet us. This is my mistake. I offered to reduce the cost of repairs and treatment from $1865 to $1565. She politely declined because she hired another company to perform the work. I take our customer service responsibilities very seriously and apologized to Ms. Morris for her troubles with my company."

I ended up using Omega but I am not satisfied with them. They quote at one price and the quality of the work wasn't worth the quote. I thought we came to an agreement about a reduction and then they continue to ask for $50. They started off with way too much and the quality of the work kind a looked amateurish. So I wouldn't recommend them. I wouldn't use them again. It was $600 and it wasn't worth the quality of the work they did. I could've probably got a handyman to do the work. They used the spray they you could've buy from Costco Home Depot yourself. They use [2:59] instead of using netting and just really putting some professional time into it. It was poorly done. They lie about reducing the price and they charged me more. You don't tell a customer you are gonna reduce it and then adding another $50 you didn't agree to. They said if you want us to redo the work you got to be there the whole time. I'm like oh I would have to take off work or you guys to redo what you should've done. Why do I need to be here you are crawling under the house. You should be able to do it without my taking off work. That was a really unreasonable. They were on time. The guy was nice who did the work. The worker shouldn't suffer.

"Member was unhappy with the work that was completed at her home. I offered her 2 options to resolve the issue to her satisfaction. Option 1, we return to the property remove the work she found unsatisfactory and redo to her satisfaction, she would need to present at time to give her approval. Option 2, we would reduce price from the original work of $600.00 to $450 giving her a $150 off. Member agreed to option 2 and then sent in a payment of $400.00 I sent an invoice to member showing the balance due reminding her of the agreed upon amount. She sent in another check for an additional $25.00. I credited her account the remaining balance of $25.00 and considered the account paid in full. I did insist that she be present if she select option 1. This was to ensure we competed the job to her satisfaction at the time of the appointment. Her review also served as a training guide to further ensure my technicians put in writing exactly what they intend to do when completing repairs at a customers house. This ensures both sides have a compete understanding as to what is going to be repaired, how that repair is going to be done and with what materials."

The initial inspection was thorough and the inspector was very informative. Based on the report, we decided to go ahead with the tenting and also have them do some of the minor repair work. The crew that came out were very prompt, professional and thorough. They were pretty careful about not damaging landscaping and putting things away afterwards. We were very pleased with the whole process and plan to use Omega for some of the other repair work as well. <br />

<p>We haven't had any problems and it works very well. We live on a hill side so we got a 3 story home that is build into a hill side so they have to spray all of the hill side as well. Its a the most reasonable rates we were able to find and we really like the service. We don't have to call them they call us. They are proactive and trustworthy. They service is excellent. They are professional, Nice and enjoyable to work with. They require no contract. The prices are reasonable. </p>

Our Omega Pest Inspection was overall a good experience. We requested their services for the home that we were considering to buy. The inspection was very thorough and the inspector carefully detailed everything he found, and ended up being resolved by the seller. <br /> While it was a newer ~10 year old home and did not have much rot or pests, there was one spot that the inspector identified as having minor water damage from a one time leak. It turns out it was an active leak from rain (it was a sunny day during the inspection). Not a big deal, but still, it would've been nice to have been identified before we closed. <br />

They were super responsive and fast to come out. They quickly found the potential entry points. Laid traps and developed a plan to check traps and seal the entries. Even pushed us to seal the entries ourselves to save some dough but we asked them to do it any way to make sure it was done right. Fast, efficient, reasonably priced and professional. Very happy! <br />

Omega was able to send someone out the next day to inspect and trap rodents on our property. The $300 covered an investigation into where the rodents were getting in and advice on how to block them, as well as a total of 4 visits to trap and remove the rodents. <br /> The technician that was sent did not have experience on how to repair the rodent damage, nor could he quote us a price for any additional work, he could only explain what was going on, how the rodents were getting in, and how to block them. We could however request someone else to come out from Omega to give us an estimate for additional work such as structural repair, repair of rodent damage, etc. <br /> Overall I was happy with the company's professionalism, and that they were able to come out so quickly. I like that they trap rather than poison the rodents. I like that Omega can also do structural/repair work, and I don't mind having to call out a different person that specializes in a different area (instead of having someone giving me advice that may not be qualified to give it). <br />
