One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning

We use them every year. The unit was put in in 1999 when the condo was built by a different company, and is still running efficiently. They have installed a new heating unit though. I have a lot of confidence them. I pay about $300 a year for them to maintain my HVAC units.

Perfect.  Brendon did it for me a day earlier than planned. He was most accomodating.  Had worked  on previous occasions with him.

We used them many times and they are excellent. They are very polite. They are wonderful.

My technician went above & beyond the oil boiler maintenance. He noticed something loose on the water heater and made the adjustment. Wonderful service!

The company installed a new furnace in our home.  However, each time they came for an annual cleaning, something was always identified that needed to be replaced.  It was never something cheap.  Over the course of 4 years doing business with them, we spent over 2,000 on repairs for the furnace which they installed.  The final straw was our service call for not having hot water.  We were told it was a heat exchanger issue, and we needed a new one.  They had already replaced this part of the furnace, which was an expensive repair.  Suspecting that they were taking us for a ride, I called a different company who was familiar with our furnace.  The new company inspected and found that nothing was wrong with the exchanger, and recomended flushing it, which he did on the spot, and showed me how to flush it as well.  Since then, there have been no issues with hot water.  They did not charge us for this appointment, but they certainly have been getting our business ever since. <br />

Wilkins' staff were extremely professional from providing the initial quote to the final completed job. They took extra attention to keep our home clean throughout the project. Their crew was always polite and easy to deal with. They arrived on time and they stayed until all the final system checks were complete. There were no surprises which is the ultimate compliment. <br />

We were very pleased with everything about Wilkins Mechanical. On our initial appointment Mike, explained everything to our satisfaction and didn't rush us or leave before we were thoroughly informed about all aspects of the system and financing. <br /> They installed the air conditioner/heat pump one week later (arrived on time) and it was done in one day (believe me, a massive undertaking). They spread plastic sheets on our carpeted floors and wore and quot;footiesand quot; all the while inside, and they vacuumed the area after drilling holes where needed. Very Clean, left no mess. <br /> The units performed as explained AND they perform even better then expected. Very, very quite, our oil system has not turned on at all, we are heating totally on the heat pump and we are even warmer then before -- setting the temp at 68, the same temp we had the oil furnace set at. <br /> After install the installers didn't leave until we thoroughly understood the remote. They didn't leave us to figure things out for ourselves. <br /> They are insured, bonded, and have a 24/7 call back service. <br /> <br />

They are very good, reliable and honest. They explain everything very thoroughly.

While the AC service was satisfactory, for fixing the HVAC fan, they gave me an estimate of $600 stating they will have to change the whole circuit board. I had used WMS in the past to fix an intermittent HVAC lokout issue and the fan problem came in during one of their trials and errors. The technician convinced me that the fan had to do nothing with that and it was indeed a fried circuit. <br /> I brought in a plumber from another company to find that during their trial and error when they played with the wiring, the moved the fan wire to continuous mode instead of regular mode. And now they wanted me to pay $600. The other plumber I brought in fixed the cable without charging me a penny. Will never go to WMS again. What a bad business practice!! <br />

I went with them because they were part of the Home Depot network, so they installed for Home Depot and they did an excellent job. They came in and they knew what they were going to do and they did it promptly and cleanly.

They're excellent. We may have just stumbled upon them. They put in our heating and cooling unit, we have an annual contract with them, and they service our air conditioning and heating year round. We pay $7 a month, they are professional, they come out for a service call, it's insignificant, they just brush it off, and they put on booties when they come in the house.
