One of a Kind Carpenter was terrific. All the work was completed- even though we ran into some challenges, which they quickly resolved. I have an older house, and these were not anticipated with the job. I also added on to the project a few times, which they managed to do in a timely fashion, and the quality of work was impeccable. I would highly recommend him, and I will not use anyone else for my work now.

This is our second time using One of a Kind Carpenter. They are great to work with from start to finish (calling to book an estimate all the way to completion of project). For this project, we had our exterior crawl space openings all redone as well as remodeling our laundry area in our house. Our home is almost 100 years old, and Chad made sure that all of the changes looked as if they belonged in the house. He made sure to match the custom crown molding in the house, and even went as far as custom creating jeweled doorknobs to match the other jeweled doorknobs in th home. The team was very professional, always on time, and, most importantly, did exactly what we wanted (and more). We will be using their services again!

We used One Of A Kind Carpenter for a full kitchen remodel. Quality was excellent for a reasonable price. We went from a house with separate rooms for dining room, kitchen, living room, etc.. to a big beautiful open floorplan. We gained soo much room and it looks great! We are planning another project as I type this. Looking forward to the next project!

EXCELLENT. Their workmanship is VERY GOOD. Workers are friendly. They take the time to put down protective paper on hardwood floors etc to protect your home furnishings during their work process. Holy cow are these guys amazing! The amount of polish and attention to detail that they put into every project is incredible. They don't just get the job done right, they keep going and get it to look like brand new construction, with every single angle looking perfect. They were fairly priced, communicative, punctual, tidy, friendly, professional, and organized. The owner and head honcho Chad is a master carpenter and problem solver that treats your home like his, and his near-obsession with perfection and correct execution is infectious. I had no idea a repair job could look so good afterwards. They use only the highest quality materials. In fact, I imagine Chad is the kind of top-of-his-game professional that attends home remodeling trade shows and conventions to keep up with emerging materials and technologies that push the boundaries of what's possible in home building and repair. He's educated and knowledgable about his craft and it shows in everything he executes. I've dealt with dozens of repairmen in the past but Chad and his team are the ones I've observed that actually seem, well, passionate about getting it done right, making it look professional, and educating you on the process and materials. This passion for the craft and joy that they bring to the job site is truly one of a kind. Chad is the kind of pro that the This Old House crew would trust to feature on an episode where some big nasty problem needs real outside the box cleverness and intelligence and cutting edge tech or tool to get the job done correctly and fully. And if he can't figure it out you know he's going to research the **** out of it and get the job done - the man and his crew are careful, meticulous problem solvers and skilled craftsmen who are always thinking five steps ahead. Like I said, they don't merely know what they're doing - they really like what they're doing and it shines through. The level of quality work and detail they do would easily meet the obnoxiously high standards of our local Disney World theme parks. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Chad and his crew have worked on some theme park projects around here. Scheduling, paying, and communicating was a breeze, too, thanks to Dale. She was so kind and thoughtful and organized through the whole process, handling all of the paperwork and orchestrating the crew behind the scenes. Top to bottom this is a professional organization and their reputation for excellence is well deserved. You get every penny's worth and so much more - the peace of mind that you did not hire some knucklehead that's going to cut corners or miss something on the job site. Basically, if you are picky picky and your eyes go straight to small details out of place or blemishes, then you won't have anything to annoy your eye when they're done because after they leave the whole place feels fresh and transformed and you can relax knowing that everything was done correctly. I will be using One Of A Kind again, no hesitation

Leaking from a pipe inside the wall had caused mold and damage to the adjoining wall. Chad and his crew were able to identify the issue, eradicate the mold, fix the pipe, and restore the wall to better than new. I'm beyond pleased with their work. They're also very professional providing digital copies of receipts and invoices. Would totally recommend them for whatever job you have.

I had the pleasure of working with One of a Kind Carpenter again after we moved into our new home. Actually, we decided to buy this particular house, knowing that Chad and his crew could transform it to match our vision. One of the major projects involved a kitchen area remodel and the other a complete demo and remodel of our sunken great room. The day after we closed, Chad came over to consult and 5 weeks later we ended up with upgraded pocket doors, a new pantry, and a new contempory great room. Dale was also very resourceful, providing her interior design expertise throughout the process. It was HGTV at its finest and I truly enjoyed working with all of them.

The first time I hired One of a Kind Carpenter was to remove a wall and add a closet in a guest room. The work was done so well, that when I decided to close in my carport, Chad was the only call I made. The work is always very professionally done and the quality is outstanding. After a new A/C system was installed in my house I had to have new walls and doors installed to house new duct work and the air handler. Chad's crew made sure everything was done right! Even when there was a couple hiccups, the crew came back and fixed the problem quickly.

The owner, Chad listened to what we wanted, and they were able to build the most gorgeous deck and staircase to our new pool. Our concerns primarily being safety for our small children. We also showed Chad a picture of what we would like for it to look like, and he was able to replicate it. They also have some of the most talented people working for them! We truly felt like they built it as if it was for their own backyard. We really appreciated the precision and time they took to get it just right! Will definitely be using again for future home projects!

We were in the process of listing our house and among the dozens of things on the to-do list I honestly thought this would be a headache, but I was so wrong. These guys are goooood, seriously.
