Brandon the owner was a nice guy and easy to do business with. Unfortunately, his final product was subpar. I paid $2250 to have my garage floor expoxy coated and it looks like a $500 paint job. It took him 4 days to do it and I am not sure if he didn't prep the floor correctly or didn't use enough epoxy, but the end result looks patchy and uneven. I have had other houses done by other companies and the result was much better as it was a thick coat of epoxy and the concrete was smooth. The floor I have now from Original Concrete design is not smooth, and only shiny in some spots (patchy), and looks like a concrete paint job as you see every imperfection in the concrete. He uses Sherman Williams system and I am not impressed at all. Truthfully I have had better results using the 20x Epoxy from Home Depot on my rental house that I did myself. At least it was a smooth finish. I told Brandon how unhappy I was and he said he was sorry, but there was nothing he could do. That is not the kind of answer you want to hear from your professional contractor you just paid a lot of money for a product and you didn't get what you expected. He said he could not put more epoxy down because it would not stick as he already put the topcoat down. So I don't know what good any warrantee is when you have a problem and he cannot fix it. Also, he is just content to produce an inferior product and charge the same price you would pay for a real expoxy floor. I was trying to simplify my life by paying a contractor, now I have a floor I am not happy with and all my garage stuff is still in my living room. So I am either going to have to pay another company like Martin Epoxy (who have done excellent work for me in the past) to redo it correctly, or just live with the way it is. I though I would give Original Concrete Designs a chance and I am sorry I did.
