Otero Landscape

He did a good job and it looks fantastic. It is beautiful, all of my neighbors are wanting to use him. He apologized and bounced back and did everything that he said he would do. It was an excellent price and he was here on time. He is going to be coming back to do the back yard. He is that good and I am so pleased.

He has come back to do work and other things for me. If there is any complaint against them, we can take it off and put them on a good list. I had written a review for them and it wasn't good. But he has come out, I guess he had some family problems but he has come back and finished it and every thing is effective, did my lawn and now put it on twin system. My wife put it on facebook and we are just getting complements of what he did, it is beautiful and fantastic. He was just done about 2 days a go. I had a lot of stuff done and it was about $1,900. He apologized and promised to do every as he had done in the beginning.

It took a while with the side wall to be completed because the inspector was giving us problems. Otero Landscape said they would come back and complete the side wall after the inspector finally accepted it. The side wall was partially finished, which he said that we would finish in a couple months which I thought would be in June. In the meantime, they completed the garden wall, and it looks excellent. However, when I first met and hired him to do the work, I deposited $3,900.00 for Otero Landscape to do the fence part of the job which was never started or completed; I hired them in February or the beginning of March. In between the side wall and the garden wall work, I have had troubles contacting them to finish the fence. Very seldom do I hear from them. When I do have contact from them, they promise to come out but never show up. I called them two or three times every week, sometimes more. It has been over five months now, and he originally quoted the work could be done in one or two weeks. Additionally, they never removed the mounds of dirt that resulted from digging trenches for the side wall and garden wall. They have also left their equipment here, so it looks like the work was abandoned. At most, overall, the experience would be rated a D or below.

Otero landscaping installed two trees on our property, did some leveling, prepping and sodding, also installed a sprinkler system, and some slope landscaping in three different areas around our house. Most of the slope landscaping did well, except for one area that did not do so well. They returned to see how they could fix this one area but it just never took. It may have been that we have really bad soil in that particular slope among other factors. We are very happy with the sod/lawn that they installed using a new designer sod: RTF. It is self repairing so if we get brown spots from the dogs, it will grow back in in a few weeks. This grass also grows fast. The trees are a palm tree and a shade tree in the back. they are also doing well. They also installed a railroad tie wall around the new lawn. We were pretty happy with the work. The job was originally supposed to take a week, but ended up taking two weeks. Of course we also kept adding more work to the original job. The owner if very nice and willing to fix anything that the customer is unhappy with or wants do to differently than the original plan.

Did not respond to my texts or messages and I haven't heard from them since 1/6.

He was very knowledgeable and he did a great job. I thought the price was fair. He showed up on time for the appointment and he seemed experienced. There were two crew members that did the work and they were done with in the day. The saude was very fresh and it took well. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Juan Otero is talented, professional, on-time and reasonably priced. His crew even worked until the entire job was finished. He had excellent suggestions that we took and are very happy with the results. He is a real find.
