Service was completed on time and as per spec.

We moved into a new home with a deck that needed to be re-stained and sealed.  I researched several companies and chose Renew Crew of Pittsburgh North because I was intrigued by their unique process.  Dave came out to look at our deck and to explain what his crew would do.  He made a good impression and his proposal was competitive, so we contracted with Renew Crew.  Rich & Sean came out three weeks later to service our deck.  They were punctual, professional, courteous and respectful of our property--and they did a nice job.  The previous owners had used a semi-transparent stain on our deck but had use an opaque stain on the uprights.  Rich showed me samples of each stain they would be applying as the semi-transparent and the opaque would not match exactly.  I actually chose different colors for the deck and uprights, which made it necessary for Rich to come out a second time.  I appreciate his showing me the color difference between the two stains because it change what could have been a disappointment into a good outcome.  I appreciated his commitment to making it right for me.  I am happy with my deck and will call Renew Crew when it is time to stain my deck again. <br />

<p>I contacted David from Renew Crew for an estimate on cleaning the siding on my home. The estimate was done within three days of my phone call. David was punctual and arrived right on time to do the estimate. The work was scheduled within a 3 week time period.</p> <p>I received a call the morning the work was to be done advising me that the workers were on their way. They arrived at the time promised and completed the work in a timely manner. The workers were friendly and professional. </p> <p>My old siding looks great and I would recommend Renew Crew as this was a positive experience. David is super nice and easy to deal with.</p> <br />

We've had our lights for about a month now and love the look it gave to our home. These guys were very professional. We signed up for an estimate during the Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show. A few weeks later, Dave came to our house to do the demo/estimate. They do a great job by setting up a temporary, above-ground display to show you what your house will look like. We loved it enough to make the deal on the spot. The following week, the installers came out and put in the permanent fixtures. We had some hiccups along the way trying to get the fixtures we chose, but Dave made it right by putting in extra phone calls to find the style we wanted. The hardware they use, including the light fixtures, the transformer, and the timer, all seem to be high quality. We haven't had any problems, and I don't expect any for years to come. The only small cons could be the expense (though I believe this cost to be on par with competitors) and a few small sections of wiring that are exposed above ground (but I can bury these quite easily myself). Outside of that, these guys did an awesome job, and I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation. <br />

I am writing my last review for Angie's list and canceling my subscription as a boycott against their stand against religious freedom in this country.  I believe a national company should not drift into political and social issues and if they do they should seek a balanced position.  Their position is formally and vocally against both the original and revised bill for religious freedom in Indiana so that in the name of tolerance they elect to be intolerant to the overwhelming majority of citizens (Christians) in this country that want to live their believe system without persecution.  The Gay Rights movement is purposefully picking fights with good law abiding citizens to punish them for not endorsing a behavior of a very very small minority of people that have a very outsize bully pulpit.   <br /> The foundational belief of religious freedom without persecution is written into the fabric of who we are as a nation.  It is not discrimination, as those that actually practice intolerance falsely against Christian beliefs claim in error to advance their own bigoted agenda on the majority of faithful Americans.  The gay movement has 10,000's of willing vendor options for pretty much any service they want but they purposely seek out those that respectfully decline their business to punish and abuse them for disagreeing with their lifestyle choices.  These core foundational beliefs of religious freedom of our country is apparently inconsistent with Angie's List own corporate beliefs system.  They are entitled to theirs and I am entitled to cancel my subscription and never do business with them <em>or their listed vendors again</em>.  I will use Ebay, Amazon and Knoji and their vendors from here on out and will strongly encourage all the people I can influence to do the same.  Angie's List must be held accountable for standing against religious freedom in the USA.  God Bless America, straight and gay.     <br />

We were so pleased with this company.  I found them on Angies List and sent an inquiry email, and received an almost immediate return phone call to set up an estimate.  Scott came out just a few days later at dusk and set up the lighting that we wanted so we could actually see what it would look like, which was extremely helpful.  He also suggested uplighting a second tree which we hadn't considered, and it was a very good suggestion.  We received an email estimate the next morning, accepted it that day, and the job was done today - just 4 days after accepting the estimate.  The installers were very polite and helpful, and even though they had to dig a very shallow trench in the front yard to run wire to the tree, and across the driveway (between the concrete slabs), nothing is visible.  We also had them install a timer that automatically adjusts itself for changes in sunset times and when we switch to and from daylight savings time, so there is nothing for us to do.  The lights they use contain LED lights which should last 5 years and are very energy efficient.  They also installed a new transformer. <br /> I absolutely love it when I get a prompt response to a request for service or for an estimate.  My dealings with this company started off in a very promising manner and they continued to make us happy throughout.  We would recommend them and would definitely use them again. <br />

The vendor arrived as scheduled and provided a quote for the installation they demonstrated. We wanted to pay less than their quote so we worked out a way to get the lighting we wanted at a lower cost. <br />

We were very pleased with Outdoor Lighting Perspectives.  They were on time for every appointment, came back out to replace broken bulbs, and the house looked great! <br />

Everything went smoothly. I had to call him back, just to help us with the timer. But he gave a complimentary remote to control the lights, which was the best. Now we don't even use the timer! We just turn the lights on, when we feel like it and close them, when we want to from comfort of our recliner!

They charge 20 bucks a lamp. The product they serviced wasn't theirs. The outfit that put them in went out of business. It wasn't a problem for this new outfit. They were prompt and came when they said. They sent a real nice young guy.  He took care of it pretty fast. The pricing was fair but it was expensive. I would pay it again. They came right away. I would absolutely use them again.

I was satisfied and they were fine.  They didn't use the highest quality equipment; other than that, they were fine.  They were reasonable.  The lights still is fine and I don't have any trouble with that.  There are some issues, but I got what I paid for.  They didn't necessarily make a great effort to bury the wire.  If it was behind the bushes, they left it lay on the ground and slipped it a few inches into the ground.  It was a minimal job and that's what I paid for & that's what I got.  They were responsive and punctual.  They did fine, but it wasn't top-notch.  I got quotes from other people who claimed that they were top-notch; but their quote was high.

I called them to do repairs for the outdoor lights that were installed approximately a year ago.  Many of the wires were exposed and not buried deep enough and some of the bulbs had sunk and were not properly positioned. <br /> They offered me a base rate to service all of the bulbs and bury the wires again. <br />

They were offering a deal to buy back incandescent light and replace them with LED.  The  LED lights were $300 apiece.  They gave me $150 each for the old lights so the new ones were $300 for two.  Very satisfied with their work. <br />

The service went okay overall. I don’t recall having any issues.
