They do a great job.

The technician showed up exactly on time as agreed. Explained what the procedure would be. Operated the door a few times. Found one of the guide wheels out of position and realigned it into the track position. Tightened all of the hardware on the door & opener. Very professional.

Six phone calls to finish the job were ignored. <br /> We called another company on Angie's list that did additional repairs and while they were here they finished what Overhead did not. <br /> We withheld payment thinking that would prompt Overhead to finish the job. it did not. Almost 6 months later they called requesting payment and a check was sent immediately. What took them so long?  After more than 40 years doing business with them we will never call them again. <br />   I hope they replaced their salesman!!! <br />

Our three wooden garage doors were over 20-years sold, and rotting.  The automatic garage door openers weren't working properly, and had to be opened and closed manually, very annoying in the winter. <br /> We needed to replace them, and after researching dealers, chose Overhead Door of Norwich. <br /> A week later, the insulated steel doors and two new openers were installed in less than a day.  The only snafu was they didn't have the decorative window inserts we ordered.  The installer phoned the office immediately, and half an hour later, the sales rep was at our door to resolve the problem. <br /> A week after that, we had the window inserts we'd ordered.  The job was fantastic, and we're very happy with our beautiful, quiet new doors.  They were a little more expensive than other dealers, but well worth it. <br /> Homeowners are always wary of shoddy workmanship (that's why we rely on Angie's List), so it's a pleasure to work with a company that takes pride in its work and superior customer service. <br /> I highly recommend Overhead Door of Norwich. <br /> <br /> <br />

It went very well. Tom was very responsive and nice. He couldn't install it for us immediately because he needed to travel. However, he called us as soon as he got back. He also told us how to do the garage door maintenance. I would work with Tom again if needed. <br /> <br /> <br />

The salesman who came to the house did not seem prepared. He had to keep running out to his car to get information. The parts to install the door were not in stock and we received no notification or updates as to when they would be in. When the installer came to do the work, he was very professional. The old door was out in no time and the new door was installed perfectly. The installer cleaned up the debris and hauled away the old door for us. All in all, we were happy with the results we just wished we had been kept in the loop more. <br />

They are excellent, professional, responsive, punctual, and their work is A+. Their price is reasonable. Their quality, products, service, communication, installation are excellent. We have done extensive business with them. They have been up for a year. We are ordering two awning from them.
