OVERHEAD DOOR COMPANY OF SAN ANTONIO, INC.

Absolute worst experience. Just spoke to someone (will not name them unless I can speak with a supervisor) and recorded my call. Will be reporting his behavior and customer experience in a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau and reviewing everywhere I can. Garage door is falling off the wall, the railing will be falling and damaging my car anyway now. It was shoddy work and installed improperly, with ONE bolt for the entire railing. He refused to let me speak with a supervisor because he personally didn't determine the situation to warrant that, then changed his mind that it was too late in the day to speak with someone, then proceeded to hang up on me. Absolute garbage company that doesn't stand behind their product and treats customers like crap.

They did a good job and I would recommend them.

It went unbelievably well. The garage door spring broke at 4:30 p.m. Friday. Luckily my car was still in the driveway because we were expecting guests over the weekend. I called about the door and a repairman (Branden) showed up a little after 6 p.m. He replaced the spring and I gave him a check for $534 and sent him on his way. I went back into my house to watch TV only to learn that a hail storm was predicted for that evening. Without the prompt service on Friday evening my Lexus in my driveway could have been victimized by the hail. Thankfully the storm without the hail materialized at 1 a.m. Branden was courteous, knowledgeable and a quick worker. As a congenital complainer I could find nothing (0) to complain about!

Experience was good

This is the second time in two years to call this company. Just like before, they showed up on-time on a saturday with no additional fees. Jerry fixed the problem and did not try sell me a new door. They have superior service and I recommend this company highly.

I had used the Overhead Door Company of San Antonio in November 1998 to install an automatic door opener on each garage door. Several years later, I had them come out to make some adjustments. When one of the springs broke on a Sunday evening (making a sound heard throughout the house), I knew exactly who I was going to call. I made the call on Monday morning and set up the visit for the next day. The technician was very professional and answered all of my questions. In addition to replacing all four springs, he pointed out the safety feature of the new springs (a cable runs through the middle of each spring so that should the spring break, the pieces of spring won't go flying off all over the garage and damage something). He lubricated the garage door mechanisms and made sure the doors opened and closed properly. The entire job took about 30 minutes (probably would have only taken 20 minutes had I not been so inquisitive). I highly recommend the Overhead Door Company of San Antonio if you are having problems with your garage doors..

He arrived right on time and installed a new spring within an hour.Service tech was very enthusiastic and fast.He was very courteous and new what he was doing..

Went Great! We already knew the spring needed to be replaced. The office manager told us they had a coupon on Angies List for Spring Replacement, and to schedule the appointment with the coupon so we would get the discount. That's Customer Service!! Technician came out, replaced the spring, and did a general maintenance on the unit. He found a loose wire, and tightened it up for us. Very happy, and would use again!

They did not charge me anything. It was an easy fix. He just came out and fixed it and left. The best part was that he was able to pinpoint the problem. He was honest about the fix. He did not feel the need to overcharge me, upcharge me or try to sell me something that I did not need. That I really appreciated. They were great.

I found not have envisioned a better experience. I called on Friday, and the technician Steve, came about first thing Saturday morning. He quickly repaired my garage door without charging for services that were not needed. The fee was very reasonable. I know who I am going to call when my garage door needs replacing.
