The whole process went very smooth from the estimate, pre-install, installation and post installation follow-up.  It took just over four days for installation to be completed.  The finished result matched the drawing that I had provided to them.  It was well spent money. <br />

They are more expensive than their competitors in the area but they are very professional. The have regular crew, they don't hire day labor which I appreciated very much.

The supervisor came by in advance to go over what I needed and provided me with an estimate within 2 days. The work was scheduled for about a week later but had to be rescheduled due to rain. The office manager notified me as soon as they were aware of the delay. The crew arrrived on time for the rescheduled appointment and completed the work with no issues. they left the yard clean and reseeded the area that was dug up to move the line. Everything looks and works great! <br /> I have used Overstream for a number of jobs including landscaping, builing a patio and walk way and periodice tuneups for the sprinlker system. They are a bit expensive, but very professional and I have been very pleased with their work. <br />

Adam Kruse came to our home, listened to what we wanted and proceeded to design a gorgeous patio for us. We couldn't be happier! The project was scheduled for the third week in June and Adam and the crew showed up when they said they would. Adam met us to pick out the stone, guided us every step of the way and was there to be sure everything went smoothly. The owner, Philip, came to our home twice to make sure we were happy. My husband and I had several estimates before choosing Overstream. They priced the patio competitively and we felt like we chose wisely. We would definitely call them in the future for any other outdoor projects we need to have done. <br />

I did not run into any big problems at all. I felt their price was reasonable. Their punctuality was good.

The work was fine and they did what we asked them to do. But I noticed that they put the mulch in so high that the sprinklers would not pitch up high enough and one tree was not getting enough water. So I asked if they could come check it out because we didn't want to lose anything. They did come out and they sort of felt like I was imagining things even though the mulch was totally dry. We are now on our third tree in that place. I know that I'm not dreaming. We are going to be using someone else now to install a drip line of some sort because we are tired of replacing that tee. In some ways I feel like they just didn't want to deal with it because they already had their money and did the big job. We will not be using them for our next project. I thought their prices were a little high as well. They have since been sold so things may be different now. I do think they know what they are doing and know their business.

Excellent. They were on time, they respond quickly. They've been very consistent. Replaced dead plants, and a dead tree. They also come out very quickly to help us with maintenance.

Initially we contacted overstream and they sent out someone for an estimate. We review my survey and then took my only land survey to copy it, but never returned. I did call to get my survey back and then made a complaint on Angie's list. The owner called to say that our representative was no longer with the company and expressed his apologies . We asked him if he was still interest in the job and he was. We were having bushes/trees removed from around our pool and some new land shapes for planting. He recommened fill dirt with a layer of topsoil that would allow replanting. They brought in " fill dirt" which was fullllll of large rocks. When questioned he stated he was sorry, that the dirt? Rocks came from a current demolition site. They came and removed some superficial rocks and now my yard still has piles of large rocks that we have removed with much more to go. As far as the topsoil- we will have to purchase much more as this area is NOT a garden by any way shape or form. He did agree to leave an extra pile of topsoil at the edge of our yard and did. Not near enough for US to landscape where they we suppose to. Addition concerns were the cracks in the concrete around the pool. He stated that the just needed a filler. We had to cal him back two times to get them to come back an do that. They did not fill in all of the cracks. The man was initially so apologetic about my first contact, that I decided to give him another chance. I am very saddened that someone would actually be proud of this job.

They did a great job. We found some things that weren't quite right but they came out and did it until it was done correctly. We were very happy.

After settling for a house without a pool, we interviewed several companies to add a pool to our backyard and Overstream really stood out based on their vision for our backyard and the ability to communicate that vision using their 3D drawing system. They presented us with many different views of our new backyard that was almost like having a picture of your potential new backyard. Other companies wanted to charge us for a hand drawing just so we could understand their vision for our yard. Overstream iterated changes to their design based on our feedback and then gave us their quote for our dream backyard. <br /> <br /> Our backyard would be a shadow of what it is today without the vision and design from Overstream. We inquired about extending and upgrading our 12'X17' builder grade screened-in porch. We used to have three steps out of the screened-in porch and Overstream suggested bringing the grade up in front of the porch enabling us to just walk out onto the patio. Very nice! They also suggested an outdoor kitchen with a sink, drop-in cooler, built-in grill and a bar. I was concerned where I would put my Green Egg grill/smoker and they designed a place for that to in the new kitchen. They also designed a sunken area where the outdoor kitchen just outside the family room bay window remains low enough to not block the view from inside. This was an excellent design decision. They also suggested adding a swim-up bar area and adding lots of umbrella sleeves. I never would have thought of that. I believe that it's the details during the execution that make a project a success. <br /> <br /> Bringing a design to life from a computer generated drawing is where there are a thousand opportunities for mistakes and Overstream deftly navigated this minefield without incident. I noticed for the first time as they were adding the coping that the tumbled concrete block we'd chosen for our coping didn't cover the entire top of the wall in the sunken patio area. When I asked Bill about what they were going to do, he explained that they were planning on using two of the bullnose blocks placed back-to-back requiring cutting of everyone of these stones. This gave us a bullnose both inside and outside the pool creating a great seating area. Overstream never came back to me asking for more money to execute their original plan. There was never a place, like the coping, where they forgot about some detail or tried to upsell some plan detail that was necessary but not specified in our agreement. There were lots of details for doing a job like ours, probably more than any company ever documents in a contract. Overstream truly delivered on the vision they developed. They delivered on time and in budget. I watched them like a hawk during the process and never had to chase after them. The entire team was top notch. The workers were all extremely competent, friendly and helpful. Talking to anyone of them I felt as if I were talking to the owner of the company. They all really cared about my backyard and wanted be to be completely happy with the final outcome. My entire backyard was transformed in eight weeks. That included a pergola and an extra 150 sq ft of pavers that weren't part of the original plan. We had an easement through the middle of our backyard and Overstream was the only company willing to work with the town to get it moved inside the setback. <br /> <br /> Finishing touches are important and when they filled by pool in a few short hours saving me significant money on my water bill I was ready to celebrate. I don't think that we could have done that without Overstream's assistance and expertise. I could not have asked for a better run project or a better group of people. <br /> <br /> One of the things many people don't think about when searching for a company to build their dream yard is the follow up service you receive after the project has been completed. Overstream was the only company I found that offered a two year warranty on all of their plantings. Our 2011 summer was particularly hot this year and I did have some plants that didn't make it through the season. They setup a startup and training session with a pool service company too. That tells me they want more than my money. They want me to be happy and successful with my new back yard. Overstream came right out and replaced every plant every time. When I call for service, I feel as if they are still working on my project. Their follow up service is of the same quality as their design and construction. <br /> <br /> Now that we've had a season to enjoy the backyard, we appreciate it more than ever. We appreciate the design aspects and the quality of the materials and the workmanship. We are very grateful to have found Overstream. <br /> <br /> I feel so confident in Overstream's ability to perform that I would recommend them to anyone looking to transform their yard and not to waste time speaking with other companies. It won't be hard to find a company willing to undercut Overstream's price, but I'm confident the product will not approach what Overstream delivers. Perfection is truly a rare thing and I can't recall any mistakes on my extensive project. Thank you Overstream!

Our pool equipment had frozen and cracked. They do good quality work, but they are expensive. They were recommended by our neighbor. They once came out in an emergency situation. They were great about that.

The end result is very nice, but it wasn't a smooth process. The job was postponed several times before starting (sometimes without communicating the date change to me). They originally built the stairs out of 12" wall blocks instead of 16" stair blocks, which resulted in 8" steps that were too shallow to actually step on. They dismantled the tiny steps and replaced them though. <br /> <br /> They accidentally cut our sprinkler system wiring and piping. It wasn't their fault, they had no way of knowing it was there. They thought the wire was our phone line and called ATand T to come repair it, without notifying us first. We could have pointed out that our phone was still working. They somehow didn't notice the cut pipe, so I discovered it when I tested the wiring repair and water gushed through the wall. They apologized and fixed everything, so the story ends well.

We hired Overstream to repair and resurface our pool and spa. The pool was leaking due to cracks that were improprerly repaired by the pool builder. They also replaced the concrete pool deck and added garden paths. The repairs were made using state of the art crack repair technology to minimize the risk of future issues. The new pebbletsheen surface is beautiful. The process of repair is almost as disruptive as building the pool but Overstream managed the process for minimal disruption. They left the site in good condition and promptly corrected things like lighting and sprinkler lines that were damaged in the construction process. Our yard looks like a resort. Bill Zemak and his team were prompt, coureous and responsive at all times. I would hire them again and would refer others to them.

They were true to their word, they showed up when they said they would, they did top quality work and cleaned up after themselves. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. They were very open in their communication, told me exactly what was going on - they were just top notch. They are trust worthy and true to their word, I think that's most important.

Overstream sketched it our from a magazine and it was what we were looking for. We were very happy with it and it turned out great. They also cleared out some brush areas to build the fence because we asked them to. The owner was very nice and friendly and they did what they said what they were going to do. They were quick to respond and the workers were professional. We are going to get a quote from them in the future for landscaping work. I got 2 other bids and their price was competitive. The price was right on the money and very reasonable. I felt like I got what I paid for.

Unfortunately, the design poorly accounted for these unique factors and because the design proposal was extremely vague, this was not detected until after intallation. Several zones had to be re-done to address our concerns. After using the system for 2 years and dealing with the company on a warranty repair situation, I would advise homeowners not to use them. The employees do not have the expertise to carry out the advertised work. Although the owner has a reputation as an expert in this area, he never set foot on site and has been unresponsive via telephone. His attention seems to be directed to the other areas of the business (e.g., hardscape and pools).

They were nice, but I didn't hire them because of the expense. They were professional and I really wanted an irrigation system but he said it would be more expensive because the county now requires you to have an installed separate water meter just for the system. He was a little bit discouraging because of the price on that so he suggested I hold off and he didn't give me a quote on it, which is fine because I didn't ask him to.

The project started as a refresh to an existing in-ground gunite pool that needed new plaster. Bill and Greg from Overstream were one of three companies that quoted the project and they offered to take us to see some of their work. Seeing some of the designs they had done opened our eyes to other options that we could have. There was no pressure at all to do more but they offered a lot of ideas to enhance the pool area and open up the available space for other outdoor activites including sitting areas, walks, a stone fireplace and grilling area. They laid the entire design out on paper with detailed costing information and gave us the option to do as much or as little as we wanted. The final design made the pool part of the space but not the "focus" and gave us a great area for relaxing with family or entertaining. As soon as construction started, their team stayed with the project almost everyday for about 6 weeks...and they put a lot of effort to get the project done by Thanksgiving even though the weather did not cooperate. The people who were there everyday were very professional, courteous and did quality work. There were only very minor issues encountered during the whole project and these were quickly corrected. Bill and his team answered calls quickly. One of the nice things about their approach is that they stay with a project everyday and are not moving from job to job. Weather was the only thing that prevented them from showing up. Overall, we were very happy with complete project.

Bill's crew did a fantastic job. The project took about 3 1/2 weeks to complete. Our backyard has difficult access and plentiful landscaping that the crew took great care not to damage. The old concrete pool coping was removed with only minimal tile damage (5 tiles) that was easily replaced. This was a tedious part of the job because we were not replacing the pool lining or tiles, so they had to take great care not to break tiles. I thought this part was very well done. Our backyard was transformed when the job was complete. The pavers are beautiful. We have received numerous compliments from friends and neighbors. On a side note, Bill and I had a minor issue when we were invoiced for an irrigation line repair about a month after the job was complete. After several emails with the office contending that this should have been included in the warranty (irrigation tune up was included in the job), Bill called me to discuss the issue. After learning some of the details that he didn't previously have, he agreed with me and told me to disregard the invoice. He showed respect and professionalism that I don't often see these days. I was impressed with how he handled and resolved our issue.
