In September 2017, Mr. Leedle gave me a quote for a new roof for the amount of $6,500 and requested a down payment of $2,800. I gave him the work because he was the lowest bidder, but also because he said he had family issues, and I wanted to help. After taking my down payment, he did not do the work, and by November 2017, he stopped responding to my calls or messages. I took him to court in February 2018. I was awarded a judgment for the amount of my down payment. I hired a lawyer to collect the money. After a few court sessions, my lawyer finally forced him to appear in court, where he said he declared bankruptcy. My lawyer said one can get away by declaring bankruptcy. I did not have any other dealings or transactions with him. To this day, he still has not responded to me or made any attempt to return the down payment or to install the roof. This experience has taught me to never hire anyone who claims personal or family hardship. I have provided this information so that what happened to me doesn't happen to anyone else in our community. Archie and his team are awesome:  respectful, hard working, polite, and know what they are doing,  They cleaned up the area completely each day, used magnets to pick up any screws, etc in yard or patio.  I had a window replaced several years ago and the difference in workmanship in the installation was incredible, the old window was not properly sealed and never worked properly,  They were meticulous about sealing each window, removing molding to seal beneath and reinstalling, etc.  They went around the house and wiped down all the white vinyl trim, washed the windows, checked for anything else that may need to be done before they left.  The house looked amazing when they were finished. Then they tackled the barn, which was in very bad shape.  They treated it as a house, and installed the siding, trim, facia, etc, to last for many many years.  Archie came up with suggestions for the sliding barn door so the ugly door hardware could be removed.,as well as a roller mechanism  change---they moved the bar that the door rolls on out a few inches that prevents the door from scraping the siding when opening.  The old hand made side door on the barn was removed, the entrance framed, and a new door was installed with threshold.  It looks like a guest cottage on the property, i was totally amazed.  I had neighbors coming by to see what they were doing and checking it out when it was done as they were so surprised it was possible to make it look like that..  I had obtained 5 estimates:  2 of the five said you couldn't side a barn, and the other 2 were so much more expensive and didn't seem to "own" it,  Archie had a vision and the whole team put their all into transforming it.        <br>Archie and his team have years and years of experience, there is not much they can't do and they always know how to tackle unexpected things that come up in a job.  I am so happy to have found them, and will use them for other jobs in future., <br> <br> <br>

I was pleasantly surprised not only by the amount of time it took to complete the work, but they made sure to make everything perfect and exactly how we wanted it. We are very happy with the outcome - and our neighbors are, too! Definitely highly recommended.

Overall, I was very pleased with how the siding turned out on my house.  I’ve dealt with many contractors over the years, and I would hire Archie and his crew again.  There was a delay starting the job, but the timing was during the heart of winter in this area.  My house is a 3,300 sq. ft. ranch that had its fair share of rotten trim and wood, and Archie's crew worked consistently on it for a little over a week.  The workers were nice and stayed busy while here.  The original siding was painted wood, and the board and baton vinyl maintained some of its original look without tasking me with continued maintenance like the way it was.  I was impressed with how Archie stuck with his original quote without cutting any corners.  There were a few times I would wonder if something was going to be trimmed like agreed upon, but I quickly learned Archie was on top of it and it would get done.  There were a few nick knack things afterwards, but for the size of this house, none of it was a big deal and easily fixed in a matter of minutes.  It was a pretty straight forward transaction.  I look forward to doing business with them again
