They came prepared with documentation and examples of multiple second-story additions he had successfully completed. He took the time to walk us through aspects of the remodel we hadn’t even considered and explained the entire process in clear, detailed terms. Their projected timeline was actually longer but they explained exactly why. It was all about attention to detail — the structural considerations, sequencing, and finishing work that others hadn’t even mentioned. They laid out a 3D model of the house they designed for us after taking all of our feedback. They then collaborated with architects, engineers, and specialty craftsmen to create a home that met our demands and reflected our vision. Others that claim to be custom home builders typically modify previous projects. They are an authentic bespoke builder. Pacific Craftsman starts with a blank slate for each home they build, and no two are alike. In the end, you get what you pay for, and builders in Kootenai County appear to believe that tossing them up one after the other in cookie-cutter form is OK, but their quality and workmanship fall short upon closer inspection. They create you a home that will last your entire life.

Choosing a general contractor can always be a coin flip. But I had a specific deadline, and when I purchased a house, I discovered that it required numerous repairs and modifications to accommodate my disability. After analyzing all quotes, I called Pacific Craftsman on a recommendation. They were not the cheapest I will say, but they provided the most clarity about what would be done. How and when it would be done. Ultimately, they came in under budget and two days short of completion. There aren't enough stars to give them for their attention to detail and planning ahead of time for how I would need to move around in a wheelchair and what can be done to help me now and into the future. I love the access and the finishes they chose and ease of usage of my appliances and cabinets for someone like me. Excellent work and excellent people.
