Painting By Galli

We contracted Peter and Leza Galli to paint our condo from ceiling to base boards. They painted 19 doors inside and out, our closets, ceiling walls and crown molding. The previous owners paint job was horrible. The paint was hunter green crown molding, canary yellow and bright red walls and a dark brown on one accent wall. Peter and Leza were able to bring the walls back after blocking the previous color. The Hunter Green crown molding was my concern. Much to my surprise, Peter made it gloss white again. We were very happy.

The job went smoothly in every respect and we were very happy with the results.  Peter and Leza did the work themselves, showed up on time, did a high quality job as promised, cleaned up after each operation, and were a pleasure to work with.  They even painted the ceiling, which was not part of the contract, at no extra cost.   A special challenge of this job was that I had to arrange for the work by email and phone, and they made that easy!   We will definitely use Galli for any future painting work, and will recommend them to others. <br />

Peter Galli began painting in May 201, while we were there for a couple of days.  When we left he was not finished. Upon arrival back in Cape Coral in July 2014) the Job was completed, but quality less than adequate.  Sloppy cut-ins, paint all over the door hardware (knobs, strike plates, thresholds, etc.), paint on the floor, etc.  He was previously paid in full. We had also entered into another contract to paint / stain doors on a wine cellar for which he was paid $400 in advance; however, after seeing the quality of the first job,  we mutually agreed that he would not perform the service. I told him I wanted my $400 back, since he did not perform the service. I have contacted him many times via email and phone, but he does not respond and has not yet returned my $400 - it has been over 1 month. <br />

This was a monumental job and Peter and his wife and side kick Liza did the entire job themselves(no spraying, brush and roller only) with occasional help from two of their friends. One friend worked with Liza on the wall paper removal(awful task since the original installers failed to size the wall before putting the paper up) and the other guy showed up to paint all the doors which evidently is his speciality. The entire job took the better part of 3 weeks primarily due to the wall paper removal. These people worked like dogs, without a single complaint to get this job finished on time and met the goal. <br />

They were simply the best, and I am  very particular about the quality and neatness of a paint job.  They took care of the horrors left behind by the original painters. <br />

We were contacted the day after we requested an appointment to obtain a quote for painting.  Appointment was scheduled quickly. Quote was received in a timely manner.  All communications were excellent. <br /> We were extremely satisfied with the painting and professionalism of Peter, Leza and Paul. <br /> They cleaned up every day before leaving, confirmed when they would return and arrived on time as promised. <br /> We would definitely hire them to paint for us again.   <br /> <br /> <br />

It went better than great! Peter Galli is a professional, personable and responsive businessman, who exceeds every expectation.  He kept every appt. He called every other day with progress reports and used that time to ask any questions he had about a facet of the job.  He volunteered to to do small add-ons, which weren't in the original scope of work, and didn't come with his hand out.  I could tell that he is both successful and smart.  He is always on site and paints with only 1-2 staff vs. bringing in a crew - an approach that I like.  As importantly, he appears trustworthy! <br /> Since I am not in FL. currently, my brother-in-law viewed his work and was impressed with both the quality and his job-site cleanliness.  I will share that I don't vouch for every craftsman that I use, and I don't have blind loyalty.  That said, I have no hesitation in recommending Peter for any drywall or painting project.   I would hope that any customer treats him with the same respect he displayed with me.  If you meet him, I think you will be impressed! <br /> I use Angies List as a tool, not a guarantee, but in this case I hit a home run.......John T. I was somewhat disappointed. Although I had made a down payment, the carpentry work was not completely finished when the painter started, which was against my wishes. Although I expected that Behr paint would be used, Sherwin Williams paint was used. The paint was sprayed on and initially there was a lot of over spray. Some disappointment was that there was no paint behind the some of the downspouts and some of the downspouts were only partially painted. I had new doors installed and instead of loosening the locks and knobs, they were just taped off so that there was no paint behind the locks and escutcheon plates. There also seemed to be some tension between the painter and the handyman contractor, whom I had asked to manage the overall project. The painter seemed to not like this. That being said, certainly from the street the home looks very good and the price was good.   <br /> . <br />

The experience was excellent. The entire job was done in three days with no flaws or reasons for a call-back. The work was done right the first time. The condo looks great! We will have Peter back next year to do ceilings and garage walls. He is an outstanding provider should does quality work at a very competitive price! <br />

It went exactly as planned and scheduled by the provider. The work was professionally done. Peter the owner did the painting himself with an assistant. They did not waste time but once they arrived they got right to work. They responded immediately to any concerns or minor discrepancies and fixed them right away. They assisted with a few other things that were not even their responsibility. They were pleasant at all times and a real pleasure to work with. <br />

We called for a quote and Peter was here the next day with pricing/job information. <br /> We had gotten other pricing,but felt Peter was professional and well priced and his web site had great pictures of his work. <br /> He arrived on time on the scheduled days as promised and was here for a total of three days. <br /> Cleaned up work areas,  moved furniture back in place and re-hung all shades when finished for the day. <br /> Peter said right at the beginning of the job if we had any concerns at all he would take care of immediately.  We had a couple minor issues and he addressed them immediately. <br /> We enjoyed having him do our painting , like his work and will have him again and would recommend him to anyone. <br /> Leza (office) was really helpful for scheduling and answering any questions we had-great customer service! <br /> <br /> <br />

Peter and his crew started on time and continued daily until the job was done.  They did an excellent job, were very courteous and professional.  We had a few subsequent changes and Peter came over himself and did the work without question.  Could not ask for more from a painter. Wonderful results and would not hesitate to use the again, as well as recommend them to our friends and neighbors. <br />

I just bought a 3 bed/2 bath home in the Cape. I love the home but not the interior color scheme.  I wanted to have someone come in and paint the enitre interior of the home; no ceilings or trim.  I called and got three estimates that were all very different.  I chose Painting By Galli because when I called for an estimate Peter was the only one willing to come out the same day and he was right on time.  Peter was very professionial and his schedule and bid were the most reasonable.  Peter's wife Leza was also very nice and pleasent to work with.  If I had any questions or concerns she got right back to me and never kept me waiting for answers.  Peter was very helpful giving me ideas on different color schemes that he has seen and used on other jobs.  I actually chose one of the colors he suggested and I love it.  Peter and his crew were professional and when the job was done everything was put back up (blinds&curtains) and cleaned up very neatly.  I would definately recommend Painting By Galli and I would use them again.  Thank you Peter and Leza for a job well done.   <br /> <br />

From the moment we called for an estimate, Peter and Leza were always quick to reply to our calls and were out within a day to give us the estimate. After getting 4 other bids we decided to use Painting by Galli, mostly due to all the great review on Angie's List.   We were so pleased with the job the Peter and his crew did for us we decided to use them for other jobs.  They first painted the entire inside of our home including closets, walls, ceiling and all trim.   They always arrived on time and were extremely organized.  The painting was perfect, no spills or drips and they were very careful with covering or moving all our furniture in each room.  Each day when they left they did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves.  Once this job was done we used them to paint six bar stools, again an excellent job!!!  We are now going to be using them to paint the outside of our home.  I can honestly say that we are so pleased and would definitely recommend this company... <br />

Work proceeded as planned on time and on budget. Quality was superb and Peter and his crew were very professional and nice to talk to. It's a no brainier to hire Painting by Galli for almost any house project that they can help you with. As a matter of fact, we've already hired him for an additional project.

I have used the services of Mr. Peter Galli, proprietor of Painting by Galli, on several occasions. Peter Galli has painted three of my houses inside and out, and has always done a wonderful job.  He works promptly but accurately, and he is extremely courteous.  He has never left one of my residences a mess, but rather things are picked up and discarded before I arrived home from work.  And yes, I am more than comfortable leaving Peter or his assistant in the house without me.  They are all very trustworthy.  As far as price goes, Painting by Galli is very reasonable.

Peter was very responsive to our call. Responded quickly and came over within a day for an estimate. Once we accepted his bid, he was able to start the work quickly, meeting our needs. Peter and his assistant Bill did a stellar job. Estimated 3 days for the job, but got it done in two. Moved and covered all furniture, and cleaned up very well. Great job at a very good price. <br />

First, I was quoted a timeline of 7-12 days. In the end it took 19 days to complete my job. With the exception of three days, there was one gentleman painting on my house during this time frame which is simple insufficient.Like I said previously, the interior looks amazing, but one painter can only do so much. <br />
