Painting By Wayne's goal is to take things to the next level and offer our services to more customers year round. Since 1991 Painting By Wayne has satisfied over 2000 residential and commercial customers with quality interior and exterior paint jobs in Allegheny and surrounding counties. Due to the overwhelming demand during the summer, it is highly recommended that you contact Painting By Wayne at your earliest possible convienence to ensure that you get priority scheduling for the quality service you deserve. It is Painting By Wayne's desire to be available to all customers for all painting projects, but we will never substitute the quality of our work for scheduling purposes.

First, I have to say, that Wayne returned my call to schedule for a quote and he came out in a timely manner and was very informative. Others did not. I called 6 painters, other than Wayne, 4 called back; but only 3 showed up to discuss and give quotes. We have an "extreme property"- part of the house is cantilevered over a creek and surrounded by hillside of woods. After speaking with Wayne, I felt he, or whomever he assigned to paint our house, would do a good job and be safe! He recommended a product to use on our overhangs and we bought, as well as the house paint since we were doing rest of the house and our garage. Wayne called and came out to power wash our home. He then called to let me know when Frank and Bill were planning on starting. I was pleased with the work and their care of our property, and appreciated that they changed out light bulbs on our outdoor fixtures that have been burned out for a year or more!

I'm picky about painting. For me to be satisfied, I had to see clean, straight lines, smooth finishes, and no splatter or messiness on the job. Wayne and his crew were great! Wayne was here every day with a crew of painters, and they were totally professional. Wayne's bid was almost the lowest bid, but I didn't want my house painted by the lowest bidder -- been down that road before. Best of all, they had the whole job done in slightly less than three days. The walls and ceilings are simply beautiful.

Actual work by crew was excellent. Overall rating was not excellent due to communication. Communication needs improvement - from responding to messages and scheduling work, to a last minute increase in cost from an agreed upon price.

Wayne's robbed my family of $8100. My husband and I met with Wayne and agreed that he would be the best painter for our home. He emphasized that quality was of the utmost importance. Wayne estimated that the project would take a week. During that time he said that the painters could be the only people in the house. We agreed to his terms and were excited to see the finished product. When it was time for a walk-through we saw that the wall fixtures (light switches, outlet covers, vents) had been painted around and not removed like we were promised they would be. After TWO MORE walk-throughs, we paid Wayne because we were infuriated with his team's work and wanted them out of our house. There are still fixtures that weren't taken off and painted behind. They didn't even take off the painters tape from the floor. A lot of the end product was very sloppy. I complained that my garage smelled of smoke. Wayne assured me that the painters weren't smoking in my garage. I found cigarette butts in the garage and was later told by my neighbor that every day someone would be outside smoking while sitting in my garage or on my back porch. They had no respect for our home. The bathrooms were disgusting when they were done and had urine all around the toilet bowls. The project took more than double the time promised. Wayne assured me that his best people were on this job. If that's the truth, then I can promise you he has unskilled painters working for him. Our experience with his company was a nightmare. I urge you not to use this company. They are overpriced and lack quality and professionalism.

"Wow! Robbed is a severely harmful word to a business owner that truly cares about every job and has the highest level of respect for his customers and their homes. As a result of this review and a couple others that are not what I expect from work provided by my Company I made big changes with our manpower. At the end of May I terminated the employment of two 15+ year foreman that ran my crews and went back on the jobs full time to make sure my customers would be 100% satisfied with the work completed by my company. As a business owner it is very difficult to read a review that is negative on my Company and a review like this quickly opened my eyes to problems we were having with quality and efficiency. I can assure you and every other customer that 100% customer satisfaction and quality interior and exterior painting are our top priorities. We appreciate your business. Also the product CWF we used on your deck is a wet on wet application. It's unlike paint it has to be applied over the first coat within a short period of time."

Don't get us started,Terrible!! First they painted our doors shut& when we pulled them open all of the paint came off! They got paint all over our hardwood floors,still finding drops! We painted the inside of our closets,so they said no problem,we will put plastic over the clothes,not so,paint on several clothes,shirts,floor,ridiculous! And the worst thing,Wayne Never came to the house& when we called to see what he would do about the mess,Never called back or responded! Please don't waste your hard earned money& time,we can't believe he has the gull to still be in business!! <br />

Wayne was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional when he came on-site for the estimate. The work was done by a small crew and a 'manager'. The crew did a good job and I felt the quality matched the price I paid for the work. I expected Wayne to do the site visits instead of a manager with limited painting experience, however the end-result was good. I had one minor concern that I brought up to Wayne and he handled it professionally. <br />

They charged me $4500 for their service. They were excellent. They were here and came on time. They finished up on time. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very punctual, neat and quiet. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Wayne and his crew were great. We got three estimates for the job. His price and approach to the project made the most sense. His crew draped all doors, floors and furniture while they worked. They spent 2 weeks at my house..always polite and friendly, but kept their minds on the job without too much socializing. He painted things that we didn't even expect, like the staircase spindles. They smoothed all of the walls that hadn't been damaged to match the new drywall that they installed. They cleaned up everyday with a shopvac and disposed of all trash. Awesome job!

Wayne was on time and efficient. He did great touch-up work and was helpful and friendly. My only complaint is they did not clean up well; they left a horrible mess, which disappointed me. Their work was fine though.

WAYNE WAS EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH, TRUSTWORTHY AND VERY CONSCIENTIOUS. WE USED SEVERAL COLORS. THE MORNING THEY WERE DUE TO BEGIN PAINTING, WAYNE CALLED US. THE COLOR INSTRUCTIONS MY HUSBAND HAD WRITTEN HAD WHAT SEEMED LIKE A CONFLICT. WAYNE DOUBLE CHECKED WITH US AND SURE ENOUGH THERE WAS AN ERROR ON THE COLOR INSTRUCTION SHEET. WHEN WE RETURNED FROM VACATION IT WAS GREAT WALKING INTO OUR NEWLY PAINTED HOUSE. WE HAD SEVERAL MINOR TOUCHUP REQUESTS (MOST LIKELY WOULD NEVER HAVE NOTICED THEM IF I HADN'T INSPECTED EVERY SINGLE INCH AND EXPECTED PERFECTION!!). ONCE WE COMMUNICATED THESE TO WAYNE HE TOOK CARE OF THEM THE FOLLOWING MORNING.

THEY WERE GREAT IN GENERAL. WE HAD A LITTLE PROBLEM WHERE PAINT DUST GOT IN A ROOM NOT BEING PAINTED - THEY IMMEDIATELY GOT IT CLEANED UP.
