Painting & Pressure Washing By Jeff Harrison

Jeff and his crew were amazing. They were punctual, friendly and got a job done that a number of painters would not touch, due to the height. Jeff's crew members are all either firefighters or retired firefighters, which immediately gives them credibility.

Initial contact was by voice mail where I requested a quote for painting the exterior of my home.  Jeff personally returned my call the same day whereupon we agreed upon an appointment date and time where he could examine the scope of the job.  The following day I received an e-mail from Jeff with the quote attached.  The quote was short and very concise giving the price and the details of the work to be done.  After reviewing all of the quotes I received, I elected to give the job to Jeff based several factors other than just the price.  Once I aware the job to him, Jeff gave me an estimated start date and completion time frame.  As the start date grew near, Jeff contacted me with the specific day he would be starting the job and the time he would be arriving at the house.  Like clockwork, Jeff and his crew arrived at my home on time every day and put in a full days work.  The home was pressure wash, caulked where needed and painted in 4 1/2 days.  The overall experience with Jeff Harrison and his crew was exceptional.  They come with my highest recommendation. <br />

Went well, had some rainy weather so worked around.  Took 3 days to complete job.  Payment at end.  He works as firefighter so can work two out of three days.  Had to delay some because lift was not avail to rent, but that was fine. Price was good based on other estimates I got.  Nice guy.  <br /> Would like to have him scrape and caulk a little more, but nothing serious.  There was accidental damage to a shingle but he was quick to repair good as new.  No drips or spills of paint.  Very neat. <br /> Did a little extra section  for me which I did not ask for, no charge. <br />

Jeff was easy to contact and was responsive to both an estimate and a contract.  Because this was an unoccupied rental it was easy for him to come and go but he kept me up to date on his progress.  I unfortunately subjected him to a color change after he began but he handled it as a non-issue.  I would definitely recommend and would use him again in the future.   <br />

A very good job. The house had been neglected for several years and needed bleaching with the wash. he did a great job. <br /> He worked around other trades on  a very extensive rehab of a neglected home and was very cooperative with us and other <br /> trades. Also helpful in suggesting a few names for other work. <br /> I would and will use Jeff again. <br /> As a retired Gen, Contractor  - always spell out what you want done - down to details: e.g.  remove hardware, <br /> caulk, clean up , touch up etc. it always makes for a good job. <br />

We received quotes from several painters that we found on angie's list.  Jeff came in with one of the lowest quotes, but what sold us what the fact that he does all the painting himself with one other partner, Danny, so you always know who will be in your home and you are communicating directly with the person doing the work.  We also met Jeff in person at our home before working with him and felt like he was very honest and trustworthy.   It turns out we were correct. <br /> Jeff took care of everything we asked him to and more. He caulked, patched, filled, sanded, painted, you name it.  And the work looks beautiful.  He even took care to carefully prime and paint of some difficult-to-paint pine paneling that was in our home and it now looks gorgeous.  They worked fast and efficiently. <br /> There was one small incident of some errant paint on a piece of furniture, but Jeff and Danny were so incredibly apologetic about it and handled it courteously and honorably.  They paid for the repair no questions asked.  It was a mistake that could've happened to anyone and they way they handled showed true character and that Jeff runs his business with integrity. <br /> We would recommend anyone work with Jeff.  In fact, we had such a good experience we've just asked him to paint the full exterior of our home. <br />

Jeff did a great job pressure washing my house, especially considering the weather conditions (40 degrees and raining).  My house had not been pressure washed in 3 years and it was evident.  Jeff finished the job and left but came back when I got off work.  We walked around the house; it looked great.  He told me to take a look at once it had dried and the sun was out to see if he missed anything.  I spent all weekend working in the yard and was very pleased at the appearance of the exterior; he didn't miss a thing.  I would recommend Jeff to my friends.

Jeff and his team were so very professional, timely, and careful. Each day they showed up, each day they cleaned after themselves and the job is amazing. The work consisted of two full coats of paint on all exterior surfaces.  Sixty two gallons of paint was used.  I provided the paint, as I have manufactured paint for 42 years, and wanted the very best for this, my own house.  There were two main colors, a medium pink for the body and an off white for trim; as well as dark green for railings and steps, and black trim accents and shutters. <br /> Prep work included scraping of all bare or peeling paint areas and full pressure washing   Each new container of a given color was boxed with previous to ensure color uniformity.  Application was by brush and roller.  Complete cleanup was performed every night before leaving, with all trash and empty containers removed. <br /> Jeff is a full time Fireman, as well as contractor.  He employs one full time painter, as well as himself.  Both Jeff and Danny, his emplyoee, are courteous, conscientious, and professional in dealing with customers.  Both are skilled painters, and provided exceptional quality work in all circumstances.  Since both porches are screened, and both have railings with decorative, turned support posts, Jeff determined after the job was started that in order to get 100% coverage on the inward faces, the screen should be removed; which he did, and replaced with new screening, at no cost to me. <br /> Jeff delivered in excess of my expectations in all areas. <br /> I would unhesitatingly recommend Jeff Harrison Painting, and will discuss my experience personally with those interested in employing his services.  I can be reached at rogerwoodhull@hotmail.com or at 617 901-6530. <br />

Price paid was what he estimated. Very professional job. Looks wonderful. Was available to come to our home to do the job quickly. I plan on using Jeff again, if he is available and willing.

Jeff and Danny were meticulous with the prep work prior to painting. They sanded, primed and put on several coats of paint. The results are wonderful! It looks like a new house. I also want to note that they always showed up on time whenever they said they would. Dependability is something that's hard to find in this business and it means a lot to me to find someone you can depend on and trust to do what they say they will do. During this job I had them do all of the rooms but the kitchen. I wanted more time for planning what needed to be done. I'll be calling them soon to begin the next project. <br />

Jeff was wonderful.   We first started working together in late June when I requested a quote.  He came out, gave me a quote.  (He was one of three and --- although not the lowest --- I liked his professionalism and his attention to detail.)   He was also willing to work with me in that the work had to be scheduled in-between the new roof going on the house and the new gutter installation.   As both of those jobs were under contract with another company the window for Jeff's job would be tight.   Jeff was great about it and indeed when I gave him a call late in the first week of August we were locked in and ready to go on around Aug 7th.   Jeff and his assistant did a great job.  Very pleased with work.   Nothing damaged, nothing left behind.  <br /> Recently, my husband had reason to go up on the roof and discovered that the trim on the chimney facing the roof had not been painted.  I contacted Jeff and I know he will deal with this when he comes back out in Feb when I contract him to paint several interior areas of my home.    If I did not feel that Jeff would follow up on taking care of this issue, I would not feel comfortable giving him an outstanding rating; however, I no he will follow through.   <br /> I look forward to contracting with him for the interior areas of our home.  I know he will do another excellent job for us.  Highly recommend.  <br />

The mold removal was perfect, but the collateral damage was awful...we had to restain and seal a very large deck area on our wraparound porch. <br />

Jeff did a great job for us. His prices are VERY fair. We live out of town full-time and own a residence in Isle of Palms - so we needed a painter that we could trust to do the work while we are away. <br /> Jeff meticulously finished all the painting, and even handled a couple of unforeseen items at the last minute (he was held up from a huge onslaught of fireants outside, while pressure-washing our deck, but went out and bought ant killer and handled the problem without us having to make the phonecalls to exterminators! This added a day to his work and more driving, but he handled it like a pro.) He also patched an "inside" small window opening with drywall that I decided on at the last minute. He did all of this with a "no problem" attitude. <br /> We plan to use him again! <br />

Everything went extremely well and I am very satisfied.  Jeff and his assistant, Danny, are very honest and hardworking men that I have enjoyed meeting.  They worked diligently to finish all work within a week.  Jeff also picked up supplies that I ordered at Lowes and brought them to the condo for me.  I am very happy with all of the services they provided.  Jeff is extremely talented, and can do almost every type repair/home improvement that is requested.  It was great calling just one guy to get all of the work done in my new home. Everything  looks great. <br />

Jeff and Danny were prompt and professional, arriving on time and taking great care in their work. Jeff was responsive to our phone calls and emails. They were very careful around our plants and shrubs during the power washing and they kept the work areas neat. They were very meticulous in the areas of greatest need (we had some tough spots to be cleaned) which we really appreciated! Our deck looks brand new! Jeff and Danny also took care in preparing for painting, scraping and taping before applying the paint. They went back and smoothed out any drips and it looks great. The stain/protectant for the decks was also carefully applied. We couldn't be happier with the results and will definitely call Jeff again! <br />

I just use him for the pressure washing. I tried to get him for painting later on, but he had too much work lined up. It was about 4,500 square feet. It was a big job. He was prompt and he came with another workman and they finished the job and it was done very well. The house looks very good after they were finished.

Jeff was great.  He came quickly to give and estimate,  completed the job in a timely manner.  He was on time, worked around my schedule and dogs, and was very professional.   Will definietly get him again.! <br />

Jeff came and gave some ideas and the estimate which was very good. He & his crew showed up when he said and did the job beautifully. He came back to go over the job with me and we created a small punch list which he promptly completed. He even did some extra painting at my request and did not charge me, though I fully expected to pay him. I would definitely use him again and I would recommend him to ALL. <br />
