For some reason this review wasn't finished. We liked working with Kristy a lot. They were easy to work with and they had good ideas as we went through the design stage. They were very upfront about costs and were reasonably flexible. We like our kitchen a lot.

I started using this company in November 2020 to fix 51 year old garage ceiling that was collapsing. I then used them in 2021 to gut the kitchen and replace everything, and fall of 2021 to replace front doors. Jan-March of 2022, they gutted the master bath and in May replaced exterior trim. They have been outstanding to work with, this is why I keep using them. Given the pandemic, and supply issues, I appreciate Kristy and Dan's communication with me, and Kristy's help in selecting cabinets, back splash, and flooring and faucets and sinks and doors.

It was awesome. Palmer Staff went above and beyond what was expected. The owners answered our questions, made suggestions and the work was excellent. One of us is handicapped and they gutted the powder room except for the toilet and worked around it, so we would not have to use the one upstairs. Their suggestions actually saved us money. They were considerably lower in cost compared to other companies. We are thrilled with the completed job! Owners and staff were very professionsl and caring. Highly recommended.

Palmer builders remodeled our bathrooms, kitchen, floors and interior and exterior doors. In the last they have done other general handyman work as well. They do a really great, thorough job, stay on time and provide detailed estimates and invoices. I have had them do A LOT of work and all was great. Kristy has a really good eye as well and can really help direct your choices in a style that works for your home.

A+ Will definitely hire Palmer Builders again when the need arises. Kristy was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire estimate/scheduling process. When it came time for the actual work to be done, Dan and Rocky were punctual, professional and did wonderful, high-quality work.

Outstanding work! This company is a dream company to find. They are professional, over-deliver, do outstanding work and don't overcharge. We will use them for any project, big or small, because they know what they are doing. We had two other contractors come in before we went with Palmer and one contractor didn't have a clue as to how he could help us fix our door frames and the other one under bid and then came back with an outrageous bid because he realized the job was way over his head. We had a whole team of talented, friendly, timely and professional carpenters here and they got the job done two days earlier than planned. We've never had this happen. We guarantee you will not find a better company for big and small projects. We have them coming back to work on our fireplace and helping us put in some decorative barn doors. Kristy even helped me pick out the doors and gave me some decorating tips. Like I said, you will never find a better, family-owned company in Columbus.

Palmer Builders always does great work. Whenever we have a project that needs completed, Palmer Builders is our first choice.

Kristy returned our phone call within a day and we set up a consultation. Within days we had the estimate and set up a date for the construction. Dan and Mudd showed up around 8:30 that morning and began the remodeling. They were very professional and did a fantastic job. The wall was removed and the outlets moved. The dinning room floor had to be raised a bit to become even with the kitchen flooring. They told us we would have to add luan flooring before we could install the padding and then add the rev wood floor on top. The trim and baseboards were then added. The room looks fantastic!! It opens our kitchen-dinning room and gives us much more room when all the kids and grandkids come over for the holidays. We are very pleased and happy with the work that Palmer Builders did. Couldn't ask for anything else

The project turned out fantastic. The remodelers were always on time, their work outstanding and it was impressive to see how often the project manager/ owner checked on things. Lastly the job site was always kept clean!

We completed two projects with Palmer Builders - complete kitchen remodel in 2014 and reflooring of lower level bath, laundry and hallway with porcelain tile in 2019. We had excellent experiences with both projects and would definitely use them again if the need arises. Quality of work and professionalism were top notch. They were always responsive with any of our questions and concerns. Highly recommend them to anyone with a remodeling project - kitchen, bathroom, etc. Just an excellent organization to do business with.....

The team was great - started a day early (!), finished right on time. Our garage looks great. The team was professional and careful with all the work they did and talked with me about choices and options along the way. Good communication and excellent team.

Excellent work. We carefully gathered quotes, as this was a big dollar job. Plamer Builders was competitive and included much more in the way of personal touch. Extensive work on older homes always includes surprises that the builder simply cannot anticipate. They handled the issues professionally and most important, the quote was very clear about specifying what could happen, and how it would be addressed. We feel that excellent value was provided, and plan on using them for future work.

It went well , we were a little concerned about some of the raised spots . But it is a very large area and we've never dealt with ceramic tile planks before. We did mention one that was raised enough to causes concern, but they fixed it immediately .

I was SO SO happy with Palmer Builders. They did a great job! My house was built in the 80's so everything was outdated (not just the finishes, but the electrical, etc). They took the time to fix what needed to be fixed and made sure everything was done the right way. It really felt like they went above and beyond. My dad is a very picky architect and usually insists on doing home improvements himself, and he was also very impressed with Palmer and plans to use them for his house in the future (this says a lot!). Dan, Kristy, Mudd and everyone else who worked on the project were great. Everyone was super knowledgeable, very friendly and just genuinely great people. I have three dogs and work from home, so was originally concerned about the dogs being here the whole time. By the end of the first day my dogs had new best friends. Mudd even shared parts of his lunch with them each day (and would share his "Cowboy Coffee" with me)! I absolutely LOVE my new kitchen and highly recommend Palmer! All work was done well with high quality. Dan and his team completed the work in the time he estimated. They cleaned up after the work was completed. Very satisfied.

It was a great experience. Dan was very good at communicating when they were going to be here, what they were going to do, etc. They did great work, were very polite, cleaned up after themselves all along and we loved the finished project. We would absolutely use Palmer Builders again.

This was our third time hiring Palmer. The first was for a "sun room" remodel (outstanding), the second for tile and hardwood flooring (equally outstanding) and most recently for kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We'll be calling them again in a couple of years for our next project!

They were fairly responsive, friendly, and professional. Not as fancy and as sharply professional as some of the other companies we looked at, but their price was much better. I guess you have to pay for fancy bells and whistles!

We loved them. Palmer came on time every day, did everything including some small jobs that I had around the house. They were easy to work with, cleaned up, and everything works great. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

<p>As with any large scale remodel of a 100+ yr old home, there will be hiccups along the way.  Due to the plaster and coal dust my husband, myself and our 4 dogs had to move into an extended stay hotel.  This did provide our contractors with access to the entire work area as it was needed and ultimately probably allowed the work to move along more quickly.  All the sub contractors used by Palmer were very good and I would not hesitate to recommend any of them, also the drywall crew did have some rough seams in the upstairs area that needed patching.  On occasion I would stop in and all their workers were very polite and respectful and happy to meet the home owners.  </p> <p>The only issues we had were getting everything buttoned up in time for us to move back in.  The hardwood floor slowed down the work due to how uneven the floors were and a few unforeseen things that popped up with vehicle break downs, etc.  In order to get everything done the company owner came in to finish out small things and any items we had on our list were addressed and fixed if needed.  </p> <p>Highly recommend!</p> <br />
