Estimate was given and was exactly what I paid.  The owner and his son showed up on the appointed day and did the work in a matter of 3-4 days.  They had a large fan that kept the dust to a minimum and cleaned up after each days work.  Both were very careful not to track dirt in & out of the basement while working.  <br /> About two weeks after they completed their work we had a bad storm in the area and rec'd quite a bit of rain.  I watched the new sump-pump they installed and it was filling up then...woosh... it was all gone and the water again began to fill it up.  Checked all the walls in the basement and none of them were wet so... basement is now dry!!! YEA!!! <br />

They came out on a Sunday to show us what they can do and what needed to be done for the house wall and they built up the supporting wall then hand mixed cement and pored floor. Added the pump and drainage . Came in professional and clean with no mess. We are very happy with the results. Thank you. <br />

Took them a day longer then they anticipated. But this is usually the case with a house built in 1930. They did an amazing job keeping the dust out of our house. They removed our no longer used oil tank for a mere $75!  And it took 3 men nearly 90 minutes to get it out. What champs!  Donald and his son were very courteous and considerate, as well as their other workers. <br /> It went very well and we are pleased with their work. My husband is an engineer (perfectionist) and he doesn't trust just anyone to come into his home and work on it. Palmyra was the company that he trusted-- he knew they knew what they were talking about. <br />

<p>We called John at Palmyra Waterproofing Co. and on March 31, 2012 he came to our home and gave us an estimate of $3000 to do the work.  He told us that they had just finished their last job from the flooding that had occurred.. I am sure that we all remember the rain and flooding.  John was able to schedule our work to be done the next week and that it would take 2 days and possibly 3.<br /> Well Don, Don Jr. & CJ showed up on time and ready to work.  They were all so nice and considerate.  It was a pleasure to have a company come in and be pleasant and to joke with.  It isn't easy to dig up concrete and haul it out and load in stones etc.  They were diligent in their work and very respectful of our home.  They have this gigantic fan that they used to take the dust out while they were working.  That was fantastic because I was really dreading the dust coming upstairs.  At the end of each day, they cleaned the work area.  They swept it up and put their equipment in one place.<br /> We are so glad that we chose Palmyra Waterproofing.  Actually we had them come back in late May and do another room.  We should have listened to the experts but we thought the dampness in the other room was from the family room.  We had a few heavy rains and since everything was moved out of that room we could see where water was coming in.  We called them and John came out with an estimate and the same guys showed up and completed that work in 1 day.  I was glad that it was the same guys because I was not able to stay home that day and I felt comfortable leaving the house.<br /> Again just like the first time, they were on time and ready to work and with great attitudes.<br /> We have no problem with recommending this company to anyone and everyone.  They are TERRIFIC..</p> .

I had used Don Bollinger at Palmyra Waterproofing Co. about 6 years earlier. He was the only person after a long line of plumbers and contracters who could find out why we got a river of water in our basement everytime it rained heavily. (The origional builder didn't seal around the PVC pipe that came thru the basement wall). I wondered if Don had X-ray vision because the pipe was covered with drywall when he checked our basement. Since he put in a drain system and sump pump we have never had any water in that area of our basement.  <br /> When the latest basement water problem came up I called Don. I didn't have to wait long before he came over, reviewed the problem and we discussed the solution.  He sent me an estimate shortly after. He came to my house to do the estimate on July 28th and did the work on August 4th. <br /> I can highly recommend this company. <br /> <br /> Leesa Caputo
