It didn't. I would not recommend this company. They are very bad at communication. They would tell you they might be there on a certain day, but then you never hear from them again for a couple of weeks. I would email and it would take almost two weeks to get a response back. I even called once and it took almost a week to hear back. Full of excuses. This went on for two months. I had asked for a refund almost a month ago and still haven't heard back from them. Again, I would not recommend this vender.

Good. Did the work I requested and a little more. Had to point out a few areas missed but corrected easily. I would hire again to save money.

Overall, good work - but less got done than I expected. (hours were cut short, in fairness he had a family issue, but I did not get the stated 8 hours) <br />

<p>My wife and I are very "picky" and not at all easy to please.  Marty did an outstanding job and we would hire him again in a heartbeat.  First off, he was very flexible in terms of scheduling the work.  When we had to postpone the work from the original agreed date, Marty was able to reschedule it with no problem.  He also arranged for us to be able to save 50 percent on the price of the paint required for the job.  Notwithstanding the long drive to get to our house, Marty arrived on time both days.  On the first day, he and his colleague started in immediately on the smaller but more challenging room (given that this room required removal of shelving and a large mirror from the wall prior to painting.  To our surprise, the removals went without a hitch, and the painting was soon underway.  The end product was excellent, with no traces of either the shelves/mirror mountings or the previous bright color on several of the walls.  Then they moved to the second, significantly larger room.  They were able to complete the painting of that room by the end of the first day, with the same excellent outcome.  On the second day, Marty returned by himself to tackle the job of removing wallpaper from one wall in a different room and then re-painting that wall to blend with the other wallpapered walls.  Once again, the outcome was excellent and clearly demonstrated that Marty is a real pro.  He finished in time to perform some touch-up on a wall in the kitchen that had been problematic for a long time.  He cleaned up everything after finishing work each day.  Marty has a great personality and is really easy to work with.  All in all, this was one of the most successful experiences we have ever had in hiring a contractor.  We would not hesitate to call on Marty again in the future if/when we have interior work to be done.</p> <br />

Marty did an outstanding job. He was meticulous and the end result was great. I have contracted with him to add some laundry room cabinets, put in some molding and do additional painting. I have been very pleased with his work. <br />

Long story short: 2 no-shows followed by a third no-show after work was begun. Poor workmanship. <br /> The start date was to be 2/9/16 so I had all but the largest pieces out of the living room and bedroom to be ready. When no one showed up, I called Marty to ask if the roads were bad and they were delayed and he said we had changed the start to 2/10, even though I have an email from a few days before verifying that, "we're still on". The next morning he called and he told me one of his men was out sick, 2 were on another job and he had had to fire one so could we start the following week.  Then we had 2 weather days, out of anyone's control, and finally Marty and 2 men showed up on Wednesday. After he left, they worked for <br /> 4 1/2 hours plus took a 45 minute lunch, and left at 2:15. The work they did do was questionable: one painted the bedroom ceiling while the other patched the wall and ceiling! He patched some,but not all, of the places needing repair in both rooms but told me it was too late to paint the other ceiling even though repairs there were done previously. The next morning, Marty emailed to say they were sent to another job instead but should be at my house by noon. No one showed up, no one called,  & no one emailed until the following morning. Finally, 2/19, Marty arrived, saying the others would not be coming. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the entire experience. He finished the patching himself and painted the living room ceiling. He offered to come back on Saturday at a lower price than previously estimated (since he was one man) but by that point I was not interested. <br /> Previous reviews on Angie's List were overwhelmingly positive and I had no concerns hiring Paragon, which makes this so disappointing. By my reckoning I got 14 man hours of work instead of 16, only got 2 ceilings painted instead of 2 rooms, had some patching done, and worst of all, had my entire house in disarray for over 2 weeks instead of 3 days. There was no concern for my time spent waiting for workmen who never came. Communication was excellent at the point of hiring and got worse and worse as time passed. And I finished sanding and painting both rooms myself in 4 days. <br />

Marty was friendly and did a good professional job. We bought one gallon of premium quality SW paint that he recommended. His ability to choose and procure the right paint to match the trim make the doors look outstanding! <br />

We were very pleased with Marty's work.  He is knowledgeable, and punctual.

Marty was easy to work with as I asked a lot of questions.   Marty was on time and always tidied up after himself.  He is pet friendly too.  Marty worked on our house for two and a half weeks.  We are going to have him back for more projects. <br />

Marty and his crew took about a week to do (right on schedule) and we were extremely satisfied with the work that they did. He cleaned up the workspace every day and was very organized with his work and equipment. Important when they are going to be there for a week and you have small children. A lot of the trim in the house was already custom made and they were able to make the exact same trim as ours and blend it with what we had. This was very important because we have a 100 year old Victorian home and we wanted to match it as best possible. We also had a pillar in our kids toy room and they made a customized enclosure for and it. They blended and matched everything very well. <br /> The most important part of the job was the custom pedestal that they made for our washer and dryer. The floor was severely sloped in our laundry room and we had them build a level pedestal that had a working drain pan in it. They were able to blend it with the rest of the trim in the room and now our washer and dryer are level and we don't have to worry about it being off balance or overflowing onto the floor. We are renting out our house for the next few years and we will keep Paragon Custom Interiors as our all around interior specialist. We look forward to doing business with them again.
