It went incredibly well. The small circular patio by the front entry is beautiful -- still beautiful after 21 months! I originally submitted my review in October 2016 but somehow it never was posted. So I am submitting an abbreviated version of my original, longer review again, because I really like the company! Ray Lopez was a delight to work with: prompt, professional, experienced and responsive to all my questions. He had some great suggestions for a border and adding a bench which absolutely made all the difference -- it was a stunning result! I still love it. The patio is functional and totally enhances our front entry.

I am very satisfied with the job that was done. The estimate was the best of the five different companies I called. From the moment I called to make an appointment to the installation everything went smooth. I scheduled an estimate at the time when the company was changing the management. I was notified of that before the appointment. John, salesperson was very courteous, on time, explained everything about the project in great detail. The installation crew with Fernando was very professional , easy to work with. Initial, they brought the wrong time color of stone. I told them about the mistake, they apologized and brought the right kind right away. I know we all make mistakes, but how we resolve the problem - that what matters to me the most. The crew handled the issue very professionally. The work was done in the timely manner. When the crew left the stones were washed and wet. Because of that i didn't see very small defect on one of the stones, but later it started bothering me. My husband was not very concerned, but I decided to contact John and see if the stone can be replaced so it looks perfect to me. Next day Fernando was by my house and fixed everything in the matter of minutes! Now it's the driveway is perfect. Love it! I was also reminded by John that I have 10 years warranty in case anything else needs to be corrected. I would definitely use this company again if I have future projects.

I have worked with John and Fernando on 2 separate projects and have been pleased with the results. John is very responsive and did a great job helping me with the design. He did not try to oversell me on things I did not need. The crew did a good job on the install and got both projects done quickly.

They showed up on time, worked hard, finished a day ahead of schedule, and the patio looks great. Of the three quotes we got, they were in the middle, but their estimator John really walked us through the process and instilled a lot of confidence in their professionalism.

Terrible is how I would describe my working with NW Patio Design aka NW Pavers. After spending $9000.00 for a new driveway and signing a contract with a 10 yr. labor guarantee 1 yr laterI called many more times to get an answer. When a low spot in the driveway appeared. I called NW Patio Design. THey have a new name. 6 calls later they kept saying they would get back to me. Finally we were told they would come out Sept. 4th Labor Day. No show after we stayed home. 1 wk later after many calls they were to come out Wed. Sept. 6th at 2 pm NO SHOW again. 3 days later someone came to the house took the NW Patio yard sign but did no work. Called back told they came out but had no tools! to do the work. I called many more times to get a new time. I was told they would come out either Wed. Spt. 13th or Sat. Sept. 16th Both times no show and no calls. In my 40 yrs in construction the sad part Angies List gave me their name and a few others they told me they could not help me after 1 yr, SORRY. Now I have a low spot in my driveway. A 10yr, labor guarantee that is no good and out $9000 and a SORRY from Angies List, Mike Sumner, WA.

Fantastic! They fit us into the schedule early (Sept 2016) and completed the job in 3+ days. The result was even better than I envisioned. Ray was extremely helpful with design suggestions which really enhanced the finished patio and pathway. We couldn't have asked for a better contractor. The improvement to our front entry still amazes me! It's beautiful and functional.

The overall process of selecting and installing the artificial grass in our front yard was a smooth and efficient experience. John was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Fernando and his crew were also professional and efficient. They were able to install the artificial grass within a few days. My yard went from ugly to beautiful instantly! So thank you. I'd highly recommend them!

It went incredibly well. Ray Lopez, General Sales Manager, was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was professional, always responsive, friendly and a delight to work with. He was always accommodating and answered all of my many questions promptly. He had some fantastic ideas, e.g. a stone bench, and dark paver trim for the border, which totally enhanced the beauty of the final result. He got us on the schedule early and the job was completed in record time. It turned out better than I'd ever hoped for. The pavers are gorgeous and look even better after it rains! I have use of my front yard for morning coffee or a place to sit and relax in the evening. Every day I look at it and smile because it has completely transformed our front entry, made it functional and infinitely more attractive. Everyone who has come by to see the job (neighbors, friends, even the mail carrier) has commented on how beautifully it turned out. This is one of the very best contractors I have ever worked with. Per their claim, they were On Time, On Budget, and Done Right. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely have them do more work on future paving projects.

I am really pleased with our new backyard patio. I contacted 4 businesses and NW Patio was by far the lowest bidder for the project. Ray (an owner of the business) was able to fit our smaller project earlier into the schedule than he had anticipated. When a mid-project interruption occurred, the crew came on a Saturday so the project was concluded by the end of the week (the pallets/extra pavers also were picked up that Saturday). The team leader for the installation, Pablo, was a pleasure to work with, extremely helpful when resolving design issues and always courteous and patient with my inquiries. The transformation of our back yard with the addition of the new patio is amazing.

The job went very well. Our Salesman Ray did a very detailed color coded plan. He had some recommendations that deviated from what we initially wanted, but his suggestions actually made improvements! The crew did an excellent job. They were very efficient and completed the job as promised by the end of the week. Everything was picked up and restored as if they were never here. Very hard working crew! We had one sight problem. North side of patio was slightly bigger exceeding the walkway line. Ray came out to review and was very accommodating to fix the problem to our satisfaction. It was very comforting to know that NW Patio is a company that stands behind their work! They take very seriously that the customer is satisfied with the job! What a fresh breath of air working with a company that stands by their workmanship! We are looking forward to working with Ray and NW Patio on phase 2 of our backyard transformation! We will be enlisting Ray and his crew to build a retaining wall. looking forward to working with them again!

When researching to identify a contractor we called and emailed 5 local companies. NW Patio was the only responsive company we encountered. Once an initial meet was scheduled Steve was on time and primed to provide us with a solution to our needs that exceeded our expectations. The single greatest challenge in our project was our schedule, not theirs. Still NW Patio worked with us exercising considerable patience and the resulting finished product is an amazingly relaxing space incorporating LED-lit steps, a large paver-patio, and sitting walls with LED lighting that our family enjoys thoroughly at every opportunity. Upon completion there was a limited punch list that arguably involved perceptive aesthetics more than earnest structural or quality issues with the project, still NW Patio agreed to address the issues readily to our ultimate satisfaction. Since the initial phase, of our now developed landscape vision/plan, is in place we are looking forward to working with NW Patio for the next phase(s) to finish flushing out additional patio space; a walkway between the front and back yards; and a reconstruction/expansion of the driveway and walkway to the front door.

I worked with their salesman John Waddle (sp) exclusively from start to finish. He gave me a quote a few weeks before installation for three separate projects, two retaining walls (along driveway and in back yard, ~39 ft). They were fair offers, since I had seen the quality of their work from a neighbors house they had just finished. They gave me a 4 week timeline for install, and started work within two. The workers were punctual, adhering to theirs and my schedule. They performed a large portion of prep the first day, with some installation. And performed a majority of the work the 2nd day, razing two retaining walls. On the 3rd day, they almost finished the paver walkway, since we had a couple days of rain that forced them not to finish, because they had to lay concrete down for completion. I would 100% hire them again and recommend them to anybody seeking masonry work. Only con, is that they left their trailer on the street for a couple days before they finished.

In today's world where it is hard to get a contractor to call you back, NW Patio Design responded within a day. They created a beautiful backyard transformation for us. Our yard has terrible access, and was incredibly hard to dig in, requiring a lot of extra work. But the simple, yet classic design, and Steve's help with selecting the right color and paver style for the look we wanted (we are not fond of traditional pavers), created a beautiful backyard that we cannot get enough of. I finished the landcape with plants, mulch, and overhead patio party lights. The quality seems good as far as I can determine, it feels like it was done properly. They responded quickly to address my punchlist at the end of the job. They weren't the cheapest, but given the sheer amount of work on this project, I could have never done it myself.

NW Patio Design replaced a 40 foot by 4 foot stone retaining wall that was falling into my neighbor's yard. I have to say, they did a GREAT job, not only on the physical construction of the wall ( which looks like it will still be standing in 300 years ) but also on how well they answered my questions, kept in contact, and overall were informative and respectful of all my requests and my schedule. They have a website where they mention the importance of these kinds of things, and they actually stand by it. Esteban did most of the labor on the wall himself and didn't cut any corners - really fantastic work. Ray was there to answer all my overall project questions and stop me freaking out, and Steve gave me the original quote and kept me well informed too. I can be pretty OCD about this kind of thing, and Its a good feeling when you find a company that takes care of your problem like it was in their own back yard, and just removes all the anxiety of getting something fixed on your house. Now I have no worries about anything that needs doing again.. I`ll just call NW Patio Design!

It went very well, my new patio looks gorgeous and I wish I had it done earlier. Ray is a great communicator and takes care of customer. Crew is very professional, they are polite, skillful, hardworking and good communication. There was a small misunderstand for the place not covered by paver stone, and they resolved it with no charge at my satisfaction.

A very good overall experience. The crew was extremely hard working and friendly through out the nearly 4 week project. The on sight supervisor paid attention to the construction details and had good suggestions as the project evolved. John and Ray had great design ideas and helped with a lot of the material choices and layout. They could have been a bit more careful with the jobsite debris but we worked through the issues in a professional manner. I will recommend them to my friends for sure! <br />

The people we dealt with at NW Patio Design were Steven Higa, the designer and estimator, Ray Lopez the GM, and Fernando and Juan, who lead the install crew. Steven is really good at integrating a lot of ideas and he came up with a nice design that reflected our vision. He also stayed in contact with us and the crew throughout the installation process, even coming by the site several times, which we really appreciated since he was the one who we talked to the most about what we wanted beforehand. Ray is the GM and he is extremely responsive. Did the project go without a hitch? No. But what large project does? Any time we had any concerns about anything or if it looked like a small detail might fall through the cracks, I called Ray and he dealt with it immediately. He also came out to our site a few times as the job progressed and for a final walk-through to be sure every detail was taken care of. Fernando and Juan lead an extremely hard-working crew who were very gracious about me bothering them all the time to ensure everything was getting done as we hoped. The final result is a jaw-dropping patio that just looks great. It could be on the cover of a magazine it looks so gorgeous. It was a lot of money but I do feel we got more than our money's worth and we will be enjoying that patio for a good long time. We will be calling NW Patio to come back next year to give the same professional treatment to the walkways leading up to our house as well. They are top notch.
