Work was excellent. The work crew showed up when they said they would, did what they said what they would do, and the results were good and done in a short period of time. Good communication with the company rep every step of the way. Very accommodating on schedule.

AMAZING! I would give 10 stars if it were an option. Vince and Alex were phenomenal to work with. They were quick to respond and had my driveway finished less than a week after my quote. They were very upfront about pricing and stood by their word. I have referred them to many people even my job! MY DRIVEWAY IS GORGEOUS! I could not have asked for a better experience. I would 100% recommend them!

Let me start by saying I normally don’t leave reviews for companies. My neighbor had an appointment to meet about her driveway getting replaced, and I happen to be outside when they showed up. After Alex the owner had finished talking with my neighbor I had a few questions for him. Alex came over to inspect my driveway and was very polite and informative on the services he could provide. I not only wanted my driveway removed and reinstalled, I wanted several modifications done as far as widening and reshaping the driveway. Alex was very helpful with providing me information on how they could complete all my requests and provided me with a quote that was better than what I was expecting. They had a large crew scheduled to start a few days later. The crew was scheduled for 9am and was here by 8:40. I watched the entire process and asked multiple questions during the job. The entire crew couldn’t have been nicer in answering questions and explaining what was being done. When they were done they took time and cleaned the entire area even sweeping the street. After they left you couldn’t tell they were there outside of the new driveway. The crew was very careful of all my landscaping and yard work. They took extra effort to not damage any of my plants. After the job was done the owners came to meet with me and discuss aftercare and make sure I was happy before they accepted any money for the job. As I said, I normally don’t leave reviews, but I was so happy with my experience and the finished product that I wanted to share this experience. If you are in need of asphalt paving and thinking of hiring someone this is the company to go with.

The service went very well. It was of good quality. They were very friendly and easy to work with.

Easy to work with and great communication

I think he’s a very slick salesman. They came when they were supposed to and it took all day to put in a long driveway and it looked good. But soon after it rained and there were pools all over and we were concerned that it was going towards the garage and heavy rain would go into the garage. My husband told Jonathan to walk over and see it after his job down the street but he never did. We called his cell number and his office daily and sent emails and they never responded. My husband figured out that just a little bit of driveway probably needs to be removed and it may work. But they never came. A good contractor would service, respond and fix A problem. So if you use them, I would hold half the payment until you see reign on your driveway. Then maybe they will come over and fix any problems. I am very dissatisfied.

We were approached by Paving Solutions in fall 2017 and agreed to let them replace our dirt and pea gravel driveway with asphalt, which they stated was extra from another job in the area. They replaced the driveway with a one year warranty in September 2017. In June 2018, the driveway began to crack, sink and pit. It was then that I discovered that they did not even perform the job to what was agreed to in the contract, which would make it a breach of contract in the court of law. I contacted them numerous times via phone and email and the owner finally came out in fall 2018 and agreed to completely replace the driveway. Weather turned for the worse for the season and it was agreed to in email that they would replace the driveway in the spring/summer of 2019. I have missed work several times due to them scheduling a time (just to appease) only to not show up to perform the job. The driveway has not been fixed/replaced and continues to fall apart.

They showed up late, rushed through the job. Broke our sidewalk. The driveway looks worse than it did before. Jonathan came over the next day and inspected both driveways. He agreed that the job was terrible. He said there is no way that we could recommend them. We told him if he made it right that we would recommend them. He said he would. I didn't hear from him so I called. He said "You mean they haven't been there" I said no. He said they would be there Saturday. They didn't come. I have called multiple times, sent emails, and called their customer support line. Still no response. Our contract says we have a 1 year warranty, but they did not give us a copy of the warranty. Jonathan was very impressive when he sold us on replacing the driveway. We are so unhappy and disappointed because we thought he was an honest man. I would never recommend them.

On June 3, 2019 Paving Solutions was to arrive between 8-9 at my neighbors and our house to begin the new asphalt driveways. They arrived two hours late. We were advised that this was the result of the flatbed they haul equipment on had a flat tire on the way to the work site. It was obvious the crew felt they were behind schedule and they proceeded removing the driveways in a hectic manner with little concern for each other's safety, particularly the bobcat operator. In his haste, he busted two sections of concrete driveway on the apron and sidewalk area. A Westerville city inspector happened to be in the neighborhood inspecting sidewalks. The inspector discussed with Alex Wanko and Jonathan Wanko (by phone) that they will need to reimburse the City of Westerville for the replacement of the two broken concrete sidewalk slabs. The bobcat operator also backed into another neighbors mailbox and said nothing. After removing all of the old asphalt from our neighbor's driveway they attempted to pour asphalt in to the paving machine. Apparently the asphalt had sat too long and had solidified and would not flow. While waiting for a new load of hot asphalt they began the removal of the old asphalt on our driveway. The new load of hot asphalt arrived at the neighbors so the crew began to pave our neighbor's driveway. Upon completion of the neighbor's driveway they began paving our driveway but once again ran our of asphalt and had to send for another load. In the mean time our neighbors noticed that their driveway was discolored and had pits and was scratched. The crew leader told them that the scratches were from the roller equipment because they ran out of water and they would fix it. The load of hot asphalt to finish our driveway arrived but they were in such a hurry to finish that it looked like our driveway had been patched instead of a smooth finish. We also had scratches and pits. Because it was getting late the crew hurriedly began their equipment cleaning. During this time one of the owners, Alex Wanko, approached our neighbor. He had been there most of the day watching and just sitting in his truck and not paying attention to what was being done. He requested full payment in the a check from both of us. My neighbor told him she was not happy with the job and it looked like "crap". He responded that it was just dirt and it would wash away. The crew leader also said the scratches were just dirt. Reluctantly and against our better judgment we paid the full amount. According to the contract they were supposed to clean up everything but they did not. My neighbor called Jonathan Wanko, one of the owners, to come back and look at the two driveways the next morning. He did show up and agreed the workmanship was terrible. He saw all of the scratches and pits. He saw that there was no cleanup. He told my neighbor the company relies on customers for referrals and he knew we could not recommend them. When he looked at our driveway he said it looked like a patch job. He said they should have heated the asphalt and it would have been ok. Also, the asphalt crew severely damaged three of our boxwood bushes. My neighbor told him all he has to do is fix both driveways and do the cleanup and we could recommend their company. He seemed honest and professional and he would make it right. That was June 3, 2019. Both my neighbor and myself have tried numerous times to contact Jonathan by email and telephone. We leave messages and not one person from the company has returned any of our calls or emails as of June 3, 2019.

I was given an estimate of $7000 to replace our large driveway, $1000 less than another estimate. Plus any extra gravel required. They showed up and started the work. The job was bigger than they expected and at the end of the 3rd day they told us it would cost $14,000. I think the work probably was worth that, but I am quite unhappy that they made such a poor estimate, and that they did not inform us at the beginning, or at least on the first day, that the price would be double. I consider that a lack of competence and professionalism.

Scheduling went very well thanks to Patty who kept me informed throughout process. Crew showed up @ 6::00 PM and worked into the dark until 9:30. A 200" section on the driveway they resurfaced looked great and they tapered both ends of this section to two good sections of the driveway very well.

They were doing a neighbors driveway and said they would have a lot extra (asphalt) and could cut a deal since they were in the area. They then said they couldn't do it that day and would be back tomorrow. A couple of calls and 6 days later they showed up. I questioned some problem areas as it was very rough and cratery and was told to let it settle and everything would meld together once it got warmer. It got worse. And now it's so bad you can't walk on it because it's chipping. I've called 4 times for someone to visit and assess the problem areas. Nothing. Don't hire these fast talkers.

After two "missed" appointments, they came out and did a wonderful job. The first appointment was cancelled due to a personal situation with the crew which was perfectly fine, but the second was due to another job overrun and I didn't get a call about this no show. When all was settled, they did a fantastic job and I would use them again.

Job done 7/19. 7/22 tire tread marks on drive and top coat peeled off. No return calls or emails until payment was stopped on check them 7/24 Mike came by and agreed to be back 7/25 to recap the drive to correct their bad job. Waited and kept in contact all day 7/24, they never showed and still are not returning calls or emails. Would not recommend at all. To the point where I maybe filing complaint with the courts

Excellent, they arrived on time and were highly professional. I had researched the process of turning a gravel driveway over to asphalt. They followed every step that my research said they should with Detail. I will be referring them to family and friends. So nice to get what you wanted and at a fair price. Jonathan Riley one of the owners was there for the entire process and exceeded our expectations. We jokingly call them the ASPHALT ANGELS ?

They were responsive to schedule, unfortunately the quality was very poor and some areas in the middle of the driveway are already breaking away. I spoke with Jonathan and he said he would be right out to inspect the work. 2 weeks later I received a text that he saw the defective areas and would be right out to fix them. It has been 6 weeks and they still have not shown up to do the repairs or respond to any phone calls. Their work includes a 3-year warranty on defects. I will have to seek legal assistance to get them to make good on the warranty since they are unresponsive.

It was nearly the end of the paving season but we are preparing the home for a spring sale and the driveway needed to be done now. John did a terrific job three days later. The price was more than fair - actually less than an estimate I obtain two years ago from the company we used to coat our old driveway. The paving is even and as thick as promised. I can easily recommend Paving Solutions.
