Very unhappy with the work. Peter Mitchell laid a new layer of asphalt over my driveway, but where the asphalt should have gone evenly over the curb into the street, there was instead a lava-like flow that spilled out onto the pavement and blocked the gutter. To his credit he brought his crew back and they removed the asphalt from the street, promising me that when he had another job in the area he would return to relay a more even rise over the curb. Well, it's now been a year and he ignores all emails and phone messages, and I'm left experiencing a big jostle in the car every time I pull in to the driveway. Beware of this company.

Pleasantly surprised with price. Amazed at how fluently the crew operated together. Peter addressed all of my questions and concerns and produced a great result. Driveway is light years better. Would highly recommend this crew.

It went fantastic, Peter the Owner phoned me the morning after I had placed the request (Thursday) on that same day he met with me at my house. We walked my 150' up hill driveway and he gave me a price that was between 2,500 and 12,000 LESS than the other estimates I received. Then he told me NO downpayment was required. Two days later (Saturday) a demo team removed the existing asphalt and leveled and compressed the area. By the time I returned home that evening (Monday) the area had been cleaned and we now have a beautiful new driveway. His crews were courteous, polite and neat. I will reccomend Peter and Paving Solutions without reservation to everyone who has the need for a new driveway or asphalt repair.

HOMEOWNERS BEWARE of Paving Solutions. I requested quotes from multiple companies on Home Advisor. Paving solution was the only one to respond. By no means is Home Advisor responsible for anything that has happened. We hired this company not knowing much about the ins/outs of paving a driveway, cost, correct temperature to asphalt, etc. Thought we had professionals, my bad. They came out ripped old driveway up on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Wednesday they returned and installed the asphalt. At first everything seemed to be good and I made the mistake of paying in full before completion. My bad again! Long story short, they left the driveway a complete disaster so I had the so-called owner come back and he assured us this would all be resolved. Later that night we started having a toilet backup in our basement and I really didn’t think much of it until the net day when the sewer started backing up in our laundry. When I went out to the main sewer line in driveway, we found that they let asphalt into the pipe. I now have a plumber coming out to dig the driveway out and replace the damage on March 9. We have been without the use of our bathrooms and to top it off, I have a son who has Crohn’s. Spoke to the owner and started getting the run around and he will not provide his insurance policy and is now ignoring my text mesages. At this point I have no alternative but to tell the story WARNING others and to start legal action, which I will win but will still be out money/damages. Folks don’t be taken like I was and be sure to RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH. Having a HIC License means absolutely nothing. I failed this project and now my family is paying for it in more ways than one.
