Water Heater Installation and Replacement
Tyler of Payton’s Plumbing did a fantastic job. He did what he said he would do promptly and efficiently. We would highly recommend him. Yesterday we had a leaking water heater and today we have a new water heater. Couldn’t ask for better service at a reasonable price.

Water Heater - Repair or Service
He quoted a price based on the pics we sent him. When he arrived he said the pics didnt show the return line which was a lie and he wanted an extra $400 to cut it off the o ld water heater and clamp it on the the new one. A five minute job. We are seniors and reluctantly agreed.he said if we didnt want to pay it he would leave and we could find another plumber. Before he left he never checked to make sure we were getting hot water throughout the house. That nite we discovered we only had cold water in the bathrooms. we called him in the morning and he eventually showed up and starred at the water heater. My husband had to tell him he needed to burp the line to get hot water to the bathrooms. The next day I contacted him and t old h I m w e felt scammed and wanted our $400 back. He said no. So I said I would meet h I m halfway and I wo u ld accept $200. He agreed it's be e n over a month and we never saw the check. When I called him a week later regarding the laughed .

When we provide estimates based on photos, pricing is always subject to adjustment once we are able to assess the full scope of work in person. In this case, additional components were identified on site that required modification in order to complete the installation properly and safely. We discussed those findings before proceeding. Our goal is always to ensure the system is functioning correctly before we leave. When you contacted us regarding the hot water issue, we returned to address the concern. Plumbing systems can occasionally require minor adjustments after installation depending on the existing setup. We understand that unexpected costs can be frustrating, and we always strive to communicate clearly and operate with transparency. We stand behind the work we perform and remain committed to providing professional service to all of our customers. we also notified you of the changes to pricing which you were clearly given options of and signed a proposal, i also very respectfully asked if you wanted to get a second opinion by another plumber due to the fact that i am very comfortable in my pricing."

Tyler installed a complete septic system for our new home construction project. This included a 2000 gallon concrete tank with a distribution box and 165â of leach field. The installation was completed ahead of schedule and the site was finish graded very nicely upon completion. The system design engineer and the city building inspector both signed off with positive comments on the quality of work. We used Tyler to trench and install our water connection as well. We intend to use his services in the future also. We highly recommend him.
