Peabody Landscaping was a pleasure to work with. We met them at the Home & Garden Show. Jeff Thurman was our landscape designer. Peabody was the only company that showed us a plan for what we wanted to do. Jeff changed the plan to meet our vision, only better. The three workers who did the work were very hard working and courteous. They were able to adapt as we added some changes to the project and get the work done in a timely manner. We are thrilled with our results!

Get facility, everything kept up real nice. The owner Dave is a really good guy and knows his stuff. His whole team is very professional and respectful. Highly recommend and does Great work.

The people that actually completed the work were pleasant and professional and the final products turned out ok however the management at Peabody was poor. It was difficult to get them to schedule projects and follow through with showing up. We often had to hound them about when and where the crew was and forget about getting any mistakes remedied...... Months. I would never do business with this group again unless you have time to babysit your contractor. <br />

Went great, looks great.  It took a little longer than agreed upon, but it did rain a lot in the few months before. <br />

After a season of keeping up the landscape, I was ready to give this job up.  And I was tired of paying multiple bills for various services. <br /> Received several bids on "full service"  residential lawn/landscape service including spring clean and irrigation maintenance.   <br /> Dave from Peabody very timely in his responses, and competitive with bid vs. other reputable providers.   Everything nice and itemized, and flexible to tweak a la carte. <br /> Once signed, the grounds team was very fast to get scheduled and work was very clean.  Impossible to get everything on the first go-round when you aren't living there, but the fore-woman Jammi, was very open to feedback and quick to touch things up.  She is also very knowledgable on her plants! <br /> Turf crew has mowed appropriately, not excessively, and very tidy. <br /> Dave continues to impress with periodic checks and professional interactions. <br /> If you are looking for cruise control/ "one stop shop", Peabody is definitely a great provider. <br />

We went to Peabody's annual fall tree sale. We found the size of tree that we liked which narrowed our search to only those trees. Then Mr. Peabody showed us a tree that they had for awhile in above ground inventory. It was mildly damaged, but the tree would out grow it. He offered us a discount and to take care of the damage (i.e. removed a broken limb). The discounted purchase price included planting and staking and carried a 1 year warranty. <br /> Due to weather conditions this past winter, Peobody was finally able to plant the tree this spring. We now enjoy a 20' tall tree in our front yard again. This replaces a mature tree that was blown down 2 summers ago. The tree is surviving this summer heat and didn't even show any shock as plants typically do when transplanted. <br /> We were very pleased with the service, the tree, and the folks we dealt with. <br />

They have good quality staff and the people were very friendly and knowledgeable.

It was good. They were just quick. They came right in, dumped the soil and cleaned up around of it, then he was gone. It was quick and easy. The price was competitive.

I have used their services for about twelve years. They come in and do a marvelous job! They even recommend styling my bushes a certain way and show you how they do the trimming if you wanted. They bring about six guys for the work and they are here for about eight hours. They really spend a lot of time and detail on the work. It always looks so beautiful when they leave. They are very responsive to my needs every year and are very approachable. If I have a problem with a certain tree, they give me suggestions. They have even saved a couple of my trees, including my Maple. They are good folks to work with.

Late, incomplete, and not to generally accepted contractor standards. We are utilizing other companies even at this date to complete and correct the project to the original scope.

I built a new home and had the landscape design done by a Peabody employee who was professional and I was pleased with his proposal. The execution/installation left much to be desired. I felt like the crew that was sent was poorly trained and basically unsupervised. It took several men 3 days to pour the concrete pad for my hot tube, which should take less than a day. The retaining wall they put in was not secured and had the be re-done, and my builder had to step in and assist to get the front porch done correctly. The job had to be stopped because of a house fire. I had several thousand dollars worth of paver stones left in my front yard and I asked them repeatedly to pick them up, so they wouldn't be stolen or damaged. The bank froze my construction loan until the insurance settlement and in the meantime Peabody put a lien on me. They didn't come and pick up the paver stones until the insurance settlement came and I could pay them. Needless, to say I did not go back to them when it was time to re-build.

It was a difficult piece of work and they did a superb job. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

Peabody was hired to begin replacement of the mature trees in our subdivision. Their contract was through our city, not our HOA. They were to cut down the mature trees, and replace them with 2.5 inch caliper trees. They were to grind the stumps of the old trees, and replace those holes with dirt and grass seed. Total came to about 75 trees removed and same number planted. This work was started in April. Peabody did a poor job from the very beginning. They cut down all the trees they were supposed to. However, they did a very poor job grind out the stumps and have been called back numerous times to complete their work. They came out again last week and perhaps they have finally finished that part. In addition, the grass seed they have used is a junk mix, and contains weeds, which are now taking root. They were supposed to plant trees that had trunk size of 2.5 inches. They delivered trees that had a diameter of about 1 inch. They were called on their "bait-and-switch" and while we waited for issue to be corrected, the trees sat on the street for a week. Their offer for remedy was a 25% reduction in price, which is a joke considering the trees they planted more than likely cost less than that anyway. They were to also provide water bags for all these mini trees. However, they did not deliver all the water bags and we went the whole summer without. How did it go overall? It was terrible. They are an embarrassment, they did a poor job, they tried to cheat their way to an easy sale, and they take forever to followup on their work. Summer is now ending, and they are just now finishing up on a job they started almost 6 months ago.

They brought my lawn back to life.

They did a good job with the new plan, but when the installation crew arrived we were told the designer would not be coming out to the site. The site foreman asked me where to place the plants. My response was that that's why I hired your firm. The designer did eventually come out to the job completed. The designer did not follow up with us to see if we were satisfied. The work was completed to our expectation, but we were disappointed with the process.

PRICE IS PER MONTH. IT SEEMED THAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO A GOOD JOB, BUT THEY DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW WHAT TO DO. THIS WAS A POOR EXPERIENCE, I HAD TO CONTINUALLY CALL THEM FOR THINGS. I WASN'T HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. I CALLED TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT WITH THEM.

POOR WORK QUALITY. UNTRAINED STAFF HIRED TO WEED FLOWER BEDS, CONSISTENTLY PULLED FLOWERS, SPRAYED POISON ON BULBS AND LEFT WEEDS THE SIZE OF SMALL CHILDREN. THE MANAGER ALWAYS HAD AN EXCUSE, BUT I FINALLY GOT TIRED OF HEARING THEM AND TERMINATED THE CONTRACT. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO ONLY MOW THE YARD, THEY WILL DO FINE. IF YOU WANT A COMPLETE LAWN SERVICE, USE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

THE INSTALLATION WAS GOOD. HOWEVER THE CARE WAS BAD. THEY HAD A LOT OF EXCUSES WITH VERY BAD QUALITY. THE COMPANY GREW TOO BIG AND FAST AND COULD NOT HANDLE THE WORK VOLUME. I GOT A REAL RUDE RESPONSE WHEN TRYING TO RESOLVE ISSUE WITH THE COMPANY AND OWNER.
