It went very well. <br /> Time pressures enabled me to get only two estimates. This one was considerably lower than the other one. It also seemed to be the most appropriate to an insurance adjuster that was helping me deal with the problem. Keith Bock, the owner was very responsive. His team seemed  very professional and were very helpful to me as I was dealing with a problem I did not understand well. I highly recommend this company. <br />

He arrived punctually. I explained what the purpose of the inspection test was and what I hoped to get out of the visit. <br /> I asked him numerous questions regarding the odor in the basement that I was concerned about and about visible mold. <br /> He did not appear to answer my questions directly and I felt I had to keep asking the same questions repeatedly to get the answers I was looking for. In addition, he did not appear willing to elaborate on the answers and dd not satisfy my questions. <br /> He explained that he would email me the results of the test in about a week. When I received the email, it was simply a chart that was forwarded to me that showed numbers that I did not understand and the types of mold. <br /> In the body of the email he sent me, he wrote a few paragraphs stating that remediation was recommended.  <br /> At no point did he contact me by phone to ask if I received the results and at no point did he ask me if I had any questions regarding the results. Not only did he not offer to write a page or two to explain what the results signified or how it applied to my current odor or mold situation, but when I asked if he could, he explained that my $99 I spent did not warrant him to put it in writing. <br /> I explained that there was no way for me to be able to interpret the results of the charts he simply forwarded me from the lab company in Florida due to my extremely limited knowledge of mold, and he responded that all I need to do was ask him questions.  <br />  The whole situation appeared unprofessional to me and he did not even seem willing to answer my questions over the phone and the responses he provided appeared vague and too general.  <br /> In other words, in my opinion, he did not seem to really want to help me. It would have even been nice, though of course not required, to even have contacted me and explain that though he could not write a report, but for example, that he could take the time to make another visit and go over the results in person. <br />

Great free estimate on our mold situation and steps to resolve the issues if there is any mold found once the general contactor starts to rebuild the roof/wall. <br />

I had a surprise waiting for me in my basement ?mold on ceiling, pipes, etc.  this is a cinder block half way up/dirt/ concrete slab type of basement so not a ?real? basement 65 year old wood beams etc?all covered.  I don?t normally go down there but went down to check on sump pump.  So I got on Angie?s list right away and saw all the good reviews for Chesapeake and bought <br /> the coupon..  This was on a Sunday and I heard from Keith Bock the very next day, and found he had time to come out that <br /> afternoon to see the mold.  He inspected everything, explained everything in detail, and worked up a quote for me, I <br /> signed the same day.  They came out Thursday and by Thursday evening it was done, and mold GONE ? and it smelled <br /> great!  Fresh and clean. John, etc. were a great crew and did an excellent job!   I would highly recommend Keith and his team to <br /> help you with any mold issue.  He was extremely patient with my questions and very pleasant..He gave me advice to <br /> keep the mold away?.which I am in the process of working on.  Definitely would use again <br />

The technicians came out and did an awesome job.  They used a microbial cleaner and quickly, but thoroughly, cleaned the entire structure.  They cleaned everything including the furniture I had stored away. <br />

They were very responsive.  Keith came the day we called to assess the damage.  He had a crew at our home the following morning and completed the work in a day and a half. <br />

workers arrived on time , very professional, courteous hard workers. took care of my house by installing a heavy paper covering over my floors and carpet. Answered all my questions, and cleaned every thing when they were done. Would use again if and when the need arises. <br />

An absolutely wonderful experience!!!  The owner, Keith Bock, was terrific to deal with.  He was extremely helpful in scoping out our issues and problems and was always very, very responsive to our inquiries.  He was extremely flexible and responsive in scheduling his crew around other ongoing basement work we had to have done for water remediiation issues in our basement. His 2-man crew, RJ (Project Manager) and Eric were the absolute best, probably THE BEST we're ever encountered as homeowners.  They were extremely hard-working, very professional and prompt, and obviously knew their business.  What other superlatives can I use to describe how very, very pleased we were with Keith, RJ and Eric!!!!  We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cheasapeake Restoration to other Angie's List users!!!! <br />
