I would definitely stay away from dealing with this business. Two years in a row I received an invoice in the mail for start up and shut down of my sprinkler system. I made arrangements for the work and I paid the guy in full when he performed the work in the spring. Both years, I then received a second invoice in the mail for the work with an indication that the bill was "Past Due." Luckily, I remembered that I paid the worker and so I didn't pay twice. While I was able to resolve the issue both times with a phone call, this year I was surprised to receive another invoice for an additional $10.93. There was no indication on the invoice what the charge was for. When I called to investigate, the man who identified himself as the Pennygreen owner explained that the additional charge was for sales tax. When I suggested that it might be a good idea for the tax to have been included on the original invoice and that it was very confusing to the customer, the owner became irate and began screaming at me that he didn't like my attitude. So much for appreciating customer feedback and addressing their concerns professionally. I don't think I've ever encountered a more arrogant, rude, disrespectful or condescending business owner. I couldn't get a word in to this tirade to try to calm him down so I just hung up. My guess is Pennygreen won't be refunding for the service in the fall for which I've already paid. Oh well, a lesson learned. They probably need the money more than I do. I'll go with a company that appreciates my business and respects me as a customer. I think everyone reading this should do the same. If you do deal with Pennygreen, I hope you never have a need to raise any concerns. If you do there’s no telling how you will be treated. Of course the tone of the owner’s responses to reviews that rate Pennygreen poorly will give you a pretty good idea what to expect.

<p>This was a $79 big deal purchase. Their price was very good. When they did the work the guy walked right across my evergreen trees and other plants.  </p>

as soon as the time was up............they were QUICK to get outta here.  3 hrs for $99 = 3 men for 1 hour each.   NOT HAPPY!  Would NOT recommend them to anyone. <br />

Very happy with the value of the service.  The 2 workers were punctual, knocked to let me know they had arrived and would begin work, and were complete within one hour.  I will use this service again. <br />

It did not go great. The service was fine but we did not get the results. They should have told us it would have been better in the fall. I was told that the service should not have been done in the spring. The company was fine but we did not get good results.

I was contacted once asking about a sprinkler system. When informed I didn't have one, I arrived home to find the aeration in progress without any prior notification. There was nothing really wrong with this it was just a little startling. The work was very good and the employee very accommodating and pleasant. <br />
