They called me to come out to do the roof maintenance. I was asleep and did not answer the phone. When I woke up I called them back and they notified me that they had already been out and on the roof and that everything was fine. I asked them to come back because I had a leak on the glass front porch. They came back and notified me that I would need flashing put on the roof where it joins to the house.  They did not give me any time frame for this repair. Some time had passed, and I hadn't heard anything. So I called and they told me that the flashing was not just something you could go and buy. It would need to be custom made. Some more time passed and I hadn't heard anything, so I called back and they told me that they were very busy but that my work order was on the stack and was getting closer to the top and it shouldn't be much longer until it was my time. I never got an estimate or any response whatsoever. This all took place back in May, the last conversation was in June, and it is now August. At the end, I felt like I was being given the run around. I would just have liked to have been told if they thought the job was too small and not worth their time, instead of being ignored.

I did not watch the work as it was on the roof and I'm wary of heights.  I could see from the ground that the shingles were replaced. <br />

Did not keep original appointment time. Inspector was very nice and professional. Did not do little touch ups to roof as stated in their ad.

I too purchased the $99. special back in May and then we were bombarded with torrential rains. I received communication often advising that there were many issues out there due to the rain and was it ok for me to wait until they were able to catch up. Absolutely! Every few days and at least once a week I had communication from them. We continued to experience torrential rains and I totally understand that there are those customers that need repairs immediately and fortunately I wasn't one of them. <br /> We were able to schedule an appt. that I could work with and the team were here that day and within a reasonable period of time within scheduled slot. <br /> They were terrific! They were friendly, they were professional, they were efficient.  <br /> I see the F ratings. Sometimes things happen and sometimes there are those that need assistance right away. Again, I was fortunate that we had not experienced any leaks in the roof due to age or the rains. Due to the fact that communication existed, they were always friendly, they did apologize for not being able to get to me right away, that says alot. <br /> When the time comes for me to make repairs or have the roof replaced I will call Perfection Roofing. <br /> Ann <br />

I purchased the Big Deal on May 14th. I had just noticed a small leak after all the recent rain. I called them and explained the situation. They said they would get to it as soon as possible but that the rain was making it difficult for them (understandable). On May 18th, they emailed me and said "Hopefully this unpredictable weather will hold off. We can get you on the schedule." On May 27th I emailed and asked if they would be getting out soon as I was worried about the leak. I received a reply on May 28th that said "We shoud (sic) be able to get to you this week. I will contact you to let you know a time." Still nothing. I emailed again on June 3rd and didn't get a reply until June 8th saying "I will call you today. thanks, Tisha." As of today, June 9th at 4:30, I have not heard from them. I have filed a complaint with Angie's List requesting a refund. I'm sure I will have a lot of water damage in my attic to repair because of their inability to take care of business. For the record, we have had at least 8 or 9 days without rain now, so that is not an excuse anymore.  <br />

I just paid $99 for what most roofing companies would call a free inspection!  Martin came out on May 26th.  Unfortunately, he did not know the reason he was there.  After letting him know it was the $99 package from Angie's, he proceeded to do his inspection.  Afterwards, he explained that one roof vent was knocked off center (already suspected) and needed to be resealed, he needed to replace some rubbed shingles (known), the gutter needed to be tightened up (known), there was a hole in the roof (suspected) and the outside vent needed to be replaced (known).  He kept pushing a roof ridge vent.  I asked what was covered by the package and what he would be fixing now.  His response was "I'm just here for the inspection, you have to talk to the big boss."  Looking at the package description, it sounded like they would fix the minor problems on the spot.  This was not the case!  Also, Martin never looked inside for evidence of leaking as described in the package.  I did get to see the picture of the hole on his camera (which I never expected to be included in the package) but have yet to see a report with pictures.  I contacted the company on May 26th and got a response on May 28th that I would have answers by the end of the day.  Never happened.  On June 1st I talked with Don and he assured me that the minor problems would be fixed for free and we settled on a price to fix the hole.  I was assured that the work will be completed by Thursday (June 4th) at the latest!  And that didn't happen.  I will now call a reputable company and get a free inspection so I can get these problems fixed.  I'm hoping I can get my $99 back from Angie's list. <br /> <br /> UPDATE:  I called the office on June 15th around 5PM and told them I was getting ready to submit the request to my credit card provider to refund the money.  They told me Martin would be out THAT DAY to take care of everything.  Sure enough, Martin took care of all the work in about an hour and was finished before 8PM.  I doubt I will see the report, but at this time I don't care.  The minor items are complete and the hole is fixed.  If you are having trouble with this company, call them and tell them you are going to reverse the charge on your credit card!

I had purchased a Big Deal for $99 for roof maintenance which was supposed to include minor caulking repairs and an inspection with pictures. They got to my house, climbed on the roof for a second and came down and gave me an estimate for $1,667. They did not do any caulking that I know I needed done and did not provide me with pictures. Since then I have tried to contact them with no response and I am very unsatisfied with the work performed

I'm not entirely sure what the provider did. We purchased this for a roof inspection to be performed on a new home we were buying. The inspector called us and said our roof "looked good." We never saw him at the location. We had a witness tell us that he never saw the inspector even leave his vehicle. We received no pictures or details about the inspection. I have no choice but to take his word for it since I did not see him perform the actual inspection as I was not at home, but I am not convinced the roof was inspected thoroughly. The deal we purchased said we would receive a report with photographs but we did not receive anything like this. We got a word document that said the roof was in good condition. <br /> It was difficult to even get this done as the inspector did not show up to two previously scheduled appointments. The company also did not call me to tell me they were not able to make these appointments. I had to frequently call them and ask when they would show up. <br />

I have used Perfection Roofing on several jobs.  I have found the Owner, Don Winters, to be knowledgeable and the quality of their work excellent. <br />

would not let me pay him. Said wait until it rained to make sure it was taken care of.He installed this roof 10 years ago....great service....

The gentleman who was installing the roof had some trouble. He couldn’t get the shingles out here on time and we had rain that flooded our house. So, we had to remove the roof that we had done and then Perfection came in to clean up the mess that the guy had left on the roof. He picked it all up and redid the roof for us. We got a new roof. They were really helpful. They seemed to understand and had compassion when we had the problem. They were willing to go above and beyond to help us. All in all we probably paid them $10000. We are very pleased with them. We couldn’t have asked for anything better than what they did for us. Their warranty and their guarantee were above and beyond. We would recommend them to anybody. If we have any kind of problems, we know where we are going. We don’t even look at anybody else. The skylight itself was probably $500. We had priced everything out whenever we first started to get the roof changed and there was a slight distance with each other. So, we were pleased with the pricing. I couldn’t have asked for anything better in terms of their quality. I don’t have any questions about their professionalism. If need be, then I would use their services again. I once had a problem and so, the roofer came out to look at it. He told me what I needed to do and didn’t need to do. He never charged anything and did it as a service. Perfection Roofing did everything they said they were going to do.

From start to finish they were outstanding.  My house was flooded, and we couldn't start the renovations unitl we got the new roof on, and they delivered just like they said they would.  Being 70 years old at the time, and having someone that seemed to really care, took a lot of the anguish out of our situation.  If I am ever in need of any type roofing repair or replacement, there is only one company I would call; and that would be Perfection Roofing

The entire roof was removed and replaced in 2 days. The crew was very nice and courteous. They picked up everything including nails with a big manget. It has been raining a lot here in San Antonio. The skylight they installed is great and is not leaking like the previous one. We appreciate his work and will recomend him to anyone. He has done work for other members of our family since the late 1980s. He has always done a great and reasonable job for us. Don like all of us is getting older and sometimes forgets to call you back. However his crew is great. If you want a great job and have just a little patience call him back and he will not let you down. This may sound like he is family nevertheless we are not. He is just that good. George

Perfection Roofing Company did a very good job on our roof. The new one looks great with the gravel very even and solid. They took all the old debris got rid of it very neatly. The crew was very polite and even worked through the night to complete it. I was satisfied with the work that they did and appreciated the way they took care of us.
