Way overpriced.

THEY WERE THE WORST!! This was a claim thru my home warranty. It took them 3 days and 2 phone calls to get a call back for initial appointment. Scheduled for Saturday from 10-2, they were a no show and no call. I called and left a message but still no call back. On Monday, I called again and finally got someone. They offered no apology but re-set the appointment for Wednesday from 11-2. I called wednesday morning to confirm the appointment and see if I could get an idea when they would be there. All I was told was that the plumber would be there btw 11-2. At 2:15 Still NO SHOW. I called again and was told that plumber was tied up on another job but that they would be here before 4:00. They finally showed up at 3:45. They fixed the leaky shut-off valve but did not fix the sink. They said they had to get ahold of the warranty company to see what would be covered. A week later, they NEVER CALLED THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad- 1st time ,crew came out said they needed snake on other truck and rescheduled 2nd time same crew came back out, very frustrated again said needed other truck to complete and would have them come by when they were finished on next job. The snake they had head welded on and couldn't make the turn in pipes. I was also told if this doesn't work they would have to cut out and replace pipes $3000 estimate instead of the $125 We had kitchen drain snaked out 1 time before and it was no problem. 3-4 hours goes by, no one from company calls or shows up. I call in to ask about other truck showing up. Where are they? The crew never requested another truck, they told boss they recommended cut out and I declined!!!!! I explained what happened and the office said they would look into it and call me back. The plumber would now who recommended the other truck would come by with other snake now called me and left voice mail. Told me I was lying to his boss, he doesn't appreciate me calling and spreading untruths. He never said another truck would come by and only recommended a cutout repair of $3000 and I declined that. Told me to go elsewhere that his company doesn't need my business. I called owner of company and told him what happened.. I played voicemail for him He offered to send out a third plumber to try to make it right. Third time, different plumber came out with right equipment ... snaked drain and was done in about 15 mins with right equipment Owner did make right eventually but the guys he has working for him, hit or miss.

Our home warranty company had Perfect Plumbing come out to fix the water heater. It needed a part that the plumber did not have (the warranty company should have gotten more info!). The plumber went on to other calls. I located the part nearby and went to get it as my heater was still under warranty. I called my home warranty company telling them I had the part and to get me a plumber to install it. I was told that since I had started with Perfect Plumbing, I had to finish with them, despite it would be 3 more days until they had an opening to return (weekend). Arguments ensued with warranty company. Anyway, Perfect Plumbing sent someone over, despite being on their day off, to finish the job. I'd say that's perfect. He was polite and professional, as well as their receptionist. Recommended.

Called for a new home buyer insurance warranty claim. Lady said they could be there within 2 hours and call when the plumber was on the way. He arrived about 20 late with no call. Explained that toilet was leaking and probably needed a new wax ring. He was friendly and polite but almost immediately said what if it isn't covered? I said I explained on the phone I have a toilet that leaks upon flushing, why wouldn't it be covered? He said maybe improper installation. He went out to the car and called the insurance company. He came back in and said he would do it anyway because the hold time was too long to speak to the insurance company and said he would accept our deductible of $60. After a while he announced the flange was cracked. He Stopped his work and said someone installed the toilet using a cracked part. I told him that didn't make sense. (A toilet flange costs new about $20). (Why use a cracked one instead?) He then decided to call the insurance company outside of our presence. Again back to the truck outside. He came back in after successfully causing them to deny our claim for improper installation rather than simply a cracked part. He got really beat red and angry when I asked why someone would install a cracked flange. Do I REALLY need to answer that?!!! As if the question was silly. He got angry when I asked why he didn't let me talk to the insurance company. He said we don't do that. He said it would cost $298 to fix now. I said I wanted to talk to the insurance company and got on hold. He went out to the truck to draft up an invoice for a service call... You know, ypthe ones with the tiny writing that says we received proper service and they give no implied warranty and we owe x dollars. I prepared a paper of my own reciting the facts about what happened. He got furious again and said he wasnt signing nothing. (I wanted to have it challenge the insurance company). . I said why not? And he said it was wrong. Specifically he objected to the paper saying that he DEMANDED a service fee. I said fair enough let's change that. He also complained that the paper said he called the insurance company outside our presence. I asked why he objected. He said I was trying to make it LOOK like he did something wrong. He then stormed out of the house leaving the toilet in the middle of the kitchen floor. As Shakespeare said, me thinks you protest too much. I feel this company wanted to escalate the claim from a discount insurance claim to something more. In any event they were unfair with us as far ask dealing with the insurance company. He could have told them it was simply a cracked part but I stead threw our claim under the bus and convinced them to mark the file improper installation instead. Now the insurance company wants us to pay for a second opinion. They also said he was required to put our toilet back and not try to leave it in the middle of the kitchen. I do not ever want to see them again. I called and asked the owner to call me if she feels we owe something given the totality of the circumstances.

<p>The first visit was good -- they figured out what to do about the sink, and discovered that a faucet was also leaking.  They advised me to buy my own faucet and call them back for a second visit.</p> <p>The second visit was a catastrophe -- they never showed up to the appointment, and their answering service was unresponsive for 2-3 hours.  When the answering service did respond, they said that the plumber had tried to call me and tell me that he was not going to be able to come as planned ----- which was incorrect.</p> <p>Finally, the plumber did arrive a day late and replaced my faucet.  He fixed the leaky sink incorrectly and needed to fix it again when I showed him that it still leaked.</p> <p>My advice:</p> <p>-No appointments on Fridays -- they won't show.</p> <p>-Control everything they do.</p> <br />

Home warranty co. assigned my problem to Perfect on Sunday. I contacted them Monday afternoon. The lady answering the phone was very nice saying they'd be out Tuesday between 9 and 12. She contacted me Tuesday late morning to tell me earlier job ran late and would the delay inconvenience me. I said I needed hot water no matter the time they got here. She then called to let me know they were on their way. Steven fixed the water heater, cleaned out something and answered my questions about the tankless heaters. He was kind, professional and very competent. I did admit to checking them out here and he acknowledged they had some employees in the past who just didn't work out. I appreciated that honest answer. My warranty charge is only $65 so I was surprised no additional cost was tacked on. Steven also stressed there was a 30 day warranty on the work he did today.

This is the third time I have used this company and I am always pleased. Today was no different. My water heater was not working and they came out right away and explained to me all my options. I opted to replace with a larger and better one. I also had an issue with the hot water not turning off in the old 1952 washtub. The faucet was the original faucet and finally outlived it's usefulness. Stephen and Ben came out, were on time and very informative. They did not pressure me to replace and offered to repair the old hot water heater. Stephen just gave me the facts and let me make the decision. They were also kind enough to work around my work schedule. They gave me the estimate, and when the completed work took longer than anticipated, they did not vary from the estimate. They even honored a coupon from work I had done last year. They cleaned up after themselves and everything looks great. I will continue to use them in the future. My one small complaint was that I had called the office twice that morning due to a power outage from a storm the night before and left messages asking for the office to call me on my cell as opposed to the landline. Brooke still called my landline to let me know they were coming, but without power, I was not able to get that call. I did discuss that with her when I called back. <br />

We called several plumbers in the area and Perfect Plumbing was able to provide services the quickest. It went sharply down hill from there. The technician was very polite and friendly, very knowledgeable and explained the differences in pipes etc. The estimate however was not professional as he roughly said it would cost between $550 and $800 for repairs. That, in my opinion is too much of a gap, and I would have preferred a written (or verbal) break down of what I was paying for and exactly how much it would cost. However, being in an emergent situation we agreed to the repairs. The technician worked diligently to repair the burst pipes. At the end of the service call he told us he had put an emergency shut off valve to the tub so there was NO water coming to the tub (this was agreed to by my husband), and we only had cold water to the sink as the hot water pipe was still frozen, but not burst. The technician said the frozen pipe should be fine, we should keep heat (a space heater) near the area, and the pipe should defrost by morning. The pipe subsequently burst the next afternoon. After several attempts and many hours of trying to contact the technician, calls made to both the office and cell phone number the technician had left us with no responses, the technician finally returned our call. He was unable to come back until 9PM or later that night. We asked him to return first thing in the morning. He retuned in the morning with his supervisor, and they said the pipe had indeed burst. They then put an emergency shut off valve to that pipe and said we should not do further repairs until the now damaged insulation could be repaired. They stated they would not charge us for these repairs since they had just been there the previous night, but there would be a service call charge. On their website it states and quot;WE NEVER CHARGE FOR SERVICE CALLS, EVERand quot;. For the first and quot;repairsand quot; we paid $675, for the second and quot;repairand quot; / service call we paid $150 for a grand total of $875. We STILL do not have hot or cold water to our master tub, and only cold water to our bathroom sink. Needless to say I WILL NOT BE CALLING THEM TO DO ANY SORT OF REPAIRS, EVER. I feel this was a poorly handled repair, we were charged an exorbitant amount for a job NOT done properly. I suggest you bypass this company, even in an emergency. <br />

Service call was fine - acted in a professional manner. My problem was with the office. The women were unprofessional and rude. They made me cry on the phone.

It went great. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He explained the pros and cons of each material type that could be used for the water line. After that it was quick, quality workmanship. I now have water and ice coming from the fridge. The only problem was that he's a Tony Stewart fan while I am a Jimmie Johnson guy. Oh well, nobody's perfect. :-) <br />

On the three occasions we used Perfect Plumbing, the plumbers were on time, polite, professional, and thoroughly cleaned up when they finished working. <br />

They showed up on time and cleared the clog from the cleanout pipe outside. The plumber was very friendly and only charged me the 89.00. <br />

The work they did was fine. We used to have these guys do a lot of work for us for years on our rental houses, the cost was never the cheapest, but it was reasonable and they responded quickly. We had a good working relationship, until they did some work on our personal home. It seemed once they saw that we had a higher end house and money, the prices went up twice as much as they used to charge us. When we questioned the extra cost, TJ yelled at my wife. I called also and got screamed at by him. Very unprofessional, maybe he was just having a bad day, but we have never used them since and never will again. <br />

Used water jetting from roof vent to open kitchen drain that was sluggish. Had a different company out one month prior and they cabled drain from roof vent, but it didn't last. Explained what they were going to do and did it. Very satisfied.

Did job early February 2010 and had to call back early March 2010 to redo job - line started backing up again. They said I needed a new $2200 sewer line and half the landscaping and front yard would be torn up. I questioned their recommendation and called Royal Oak Sewer cleaning in April 2010 when it backed up again. He said the line is fine and needed to be thoroughly snaked to street. He said that there are companies just trying to make $2200 in one day to replace only a section of the line. LIne has not backed up in for 2 years now. I would not recommend Perfect Plumbing for sewer line clean outs.

Three times I had them come out and address the flap issue, which they were never able to fix, and seemed to doubt me on this. While the leaking on my bathroom floor was eliminated, I have recently learned that the inner seal was busted and the toilet had continued to leak into the floor and has damaged the wall and ceiling on my first level. Needless to say, I will not do business with this compay again.

They did a good job. They were also definitely clean and polite. I would use them again in the future.

I've been impressed with this company twice now. Each time the technicians were kind and patient with me. I ask them a lot of questions about how my plumbing works. They take the time to explain each process that I ask about and seem to be happy to explain how things work. They tell me what the warranty will cover, what the ideal solution would be to fix the true problem and then we work out a solution somewhere in the middle that I am comfortable with. When my sump pump was being fixed, I appreciated the technician's explanation of what went wrong with the original pump and also what would need to be upgraded to meet city codes. He also helped me drain the water from my basement and carry out some of my carpet. I like these guys a lot. Regarding the price: I ended up with a galvanized sump pump, a back-up pump that runs on water (in case the electricity goes out), new piping up to code that is made of PVC and the proper levers or valves for the city's meter reading. The water based back-up sump was by far the most expensive part of this process.

I am very glad I went with Perfect Plumbing. It turned out to be a difficult job due to all the tree roots. I appreciated the company meeting the price of my lowest estimate because I had really wanted to have the men who so expertly diagnosed the problem to be the ones to fix it. They started the job in the afternoon and finished it the following day. All dirt was moved back and leveled, leaving a neat appearance.

We called and they called right back. The technician arrived on time and went right to work. My home and my property was treated with respect and not messed up or destroyed. The work was done quickly but the right way.

I HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH POWER ROOTER. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND CLEANED THE DRAINS QUICKLY. THEY WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A FRIEND FROM WORK. IF I NEEDED ANY MORE PLUMBING WORK DONE, THEY WOULD BE THE FIRST I WOULD CALL.
