Perfect Turf

I think they did a good job. They came out and they worked hard. I assumed they would respond to me but I didn't hear from them for a couple of weeks and that was disappointing. Their communication drop was a problem with me because I actually rearranged my schedule believing that that would happen. This experience has made me less likely to followup any more of Angie's List Big Deals. It kind of soured me towards the whole concept.

The owner Steve was very polite & knew what he was doing from start to finish. He promised it would take x # of weeks to complete & in order to make his time line worked often by himself on the weekends. The end result was beautiful. <br /> He has been my landscaper for 7 years & I have been able to trust his work for that long. He does not overcharge,& completes all work when he says it will be done. On top of that his work far surpasses the other landscapers I've had in the past. I would highly recommend him & Perfect Turf for all of your landscaping needs as well as any paver work. <br />

Super fast! There were two guys with a large mower, and they were able to do the job quickly and well. I did have to give the owner a reminder call the day they were expected as he had forgotten about the appointment, but then he had agreed to come on short notice (next day) to begin with, so I felt that he'd done us a favor. <br />

<p>Overall, it went well.  On the day of the work, a storm was approaching and I felt that the job might've been a bit rushed.  After the job was complete, I found one bed in front of my house didn't have a weed mat as agreed.  And one planter bed in the back of the house had not been leveled (as agreed), but instead, the rock had just poured over the existing grading.  This second instance wasn't acceptable because it brought the ground level over the foundation of the house and provided access to subterranean termites if left as is.</p> <p>When I called Steven and let him know of these issues, his response was instantaneous.  He personally came and removed the rock from the front planter bed.  Then put down weed mat by himself(!) and then replaced the rock.  I was extremely impressed by his work ethic and response time. </p> <p>The back planter was also eventually leveled and made perfect by Steven with an assistant.   I asked him how such a thing could have happened, and he told me that the employee who had done the work on the two beds was no longer with the company.  I felt that was how I would've handled it, as well.</p> <p>I should note that my 'B' rating on quality was for the initial work.  The quality of the final product is an 'A'.  Also, I had received a lower bid for the job, but was impressed by my initial meeting with Perfect Turf, so I went with them.  They are very slightly more expensive but a much better value, in my opinion.</p> <p>In sum, I feel that Steven's work ethic and his attention to making the job right makes Perfect Turf a very, very good company.  I was impressed enough to hire them to do my weekly lawn service.  I have been very happy with their performance in that regard, as well.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />

First they had to dig out an area for my container garden then level out the rest of the yard for the patio. They incorporated a watering system so that my containers got plenty of water from my water barrel. This far exceeded the idea I had. They made sure to remove all sprinkler heads that would be in the way but not harming any of those that were left in the flower beds. They shored up the gaps and guarantee that there would be no more wash out which has worked beautifully. I couldn't be happier with my new patio it is everything that I expected it to be it is functional and it is absolutely beautiful a job very well done. I would recommend these people to absolutely anybody and I'm happy to say we have another job for them.

Me and my wife cannot be any happier with our back lawn and shrubs. My lawns really nice and green and my plants are looking better than ever have. Our front lawn is still in a planning stage. Steven has given us some great idea's for it too. We highly recommend Steven for any of your landscaping needs!! <br /> <br />

Steve contacted me almost immediately after requesting a quote on Angie's list.  He came out and give me an estimate promptly.  I agreed to have him do the work and informed him it wouldn't be for a week or two. Steve told me to give him a few says notice and he would get the job on the schedule.  I called him 3 days ahead and they showed up and completed the job on time and were very professional.  They worked diligently and quietly and both the individuals were happy to be doing the job I would use Perfect Turf again in a heartbeat.  They left my property in much better shape when they left and cleaned up after themselves.  <br /> Thanks <br /> Perfect Turf <br /> Sincerely  <br /> Zachary L Harman <br />

Steve has always provided an excellent service for a fantastic low price. <br /> He always does exactly what he says he will do quickly and efficiently, and is polite and friendly. <br /> We will continue to use Steve for all our gardening needs and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else <br />
