The job appeared to be going good. It was not until the job was complete and it rained that the low spot on the side walk became apparent. While I understand this would be difficult to repair I would have expected the contractor to properly monitor his employees and not let this poor work occur.

Overall, the experience went well. I thought he did some great work. They did a good job matching the mortar (they were doing some tuckpointing repair on a brick wall). I'm satisfied with their services.

He subcontracted the work. The work was done very well. They did it when we were not here and it was all done when we came back. We had a couple of bids and their price was in line with the others.

He gave a very reasonable price and a great job. There weren't many companies that were able to do the carpentry and masonry work, but he did.

My experience was quite good. They came promptly after being contacted, they provided an evaluation and estimate of the work we requested, their estimate was reasonable, they did the work in a prompt fashion, they came on time and when they said they would, and they completed the work within the specified period of time. We were pleased with the service. We had other estimates that were quite a bit more and started to over reach.

After coming out to look at the chimney, they informed me that who ever I had working on the project previously was doing a great job and to stick with them. They even came out to look at the work while was I out of town.

We needed some roofing repairs done, but the roofer advised us to get some tuckpointing and masonry repair done first. We called several masons. Mr English did return initial calls and quoted us a price as well as promising us before and after photos. This was in the summer. We were told that the work would be done soon, then didn't hear anything. We called and heard nothing. We called again and heard nothing for awhile. Finally in October, after a phone call he said he would get right to it. He called about 6 hours later and said he was done. No photos were provided. A binocular inspection indicated some new work had been done and sealer applied, so we paid him. We sent the roofers in and they took photos for their job. The photos indicated MAJOR missed sections of tuck pointing. They did see were some sealant was applied. (If I could upload the photos, I would) In addition, the tenants who live there have noticed a leak around the chimney area. This leak was not there before. We called to ask for a repair. He promised that he would go and fix it right away. He did not. Attempts to contact him since have proved unfruitful. We are now considering a suit in small claims court. Bottom-line: Poor customer service, shoddy work, lack of response mean a poor grade from us. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Perry is a very honest, hardworking guy. He has done work for me before so I knew he would do a good job with this as well. I've already talked to him about things I would like for him to do in the future.

I think he did a really good job. I think he's a really nice guy and a good craftsman. The only holdup was you have to be very patient because I signed a contract at the beginning of June and he wasn't able to come until the end of August. However, I must say he was worth the wait.

He came and checked everything. He was very good about his investigation of damage and preparing the estimate. He was good about matching the old brick color which was not easy to do. I was very impressed how hard he worked and made the match of color in the brick and the brick repair. He came back again and again to make sure that the work he provided was perfect. The insurance agency was even very impressed with the work and the brick match.

He worked hard to meet our budget and to help us get exactly what we wanted. For instance, he did six different samples of stucco on the concrete wall with different color variations and textures so that I could see what it would look like. The job was completed in the most timely manner possible considering February and March weather. They kept things clean as they went and we are very happy with the final result.

What a fantastic craftsman! He was very professional-- always cleaned and left things organized and did everything he said. Even when he ran into a couple of snags-- he took the time to explain the situation and how best to proceed. At one point, he found the the area under my front door had not been properly sealed and was the cause of a perplexing leak in basement that I didn't even know was related to the front stoop. This required extra work and time...but he repaired it carefully and properly and stuck to the original estimate. He was very careful and took his time matching the brick and since the house was a Williamsburg replica even took the extra time the duplicate the design used in the rest of the house.

I am very pleased with his service. He was honest, professional and the people who worked with him were very dependable and easy to work with.

This was the first time I had used his services. It went excellent. He was nice and was a hands on kind of person. He worked with us and our budget to find something that looked good for our deck. He was very professional, courteous and friendly. I am extremely satisfied with his work.

Perry did a fantastic job. He was professional, friendly, and courteous from start to finish. The job looks great, and I have no complaints at all. He provided high quality work at a reasonable price and is very easy to work with. He also kept the basement neat and clean as he was working and when he was done. He does the work himself (with an assistant), so I am very comfortable in knowing that I will receive the same quality work on other masonry products around my house.

Mr. English always returned my calls in a prompt fashion and showed up to do the work on time. He started the job within six days of my deciding to have the work done. He completed it within five days. The work was done as he said it would be and he cleaned up very nicely.

HE WAS PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AND HONEST. HE FOUND EXTRA BRICKS IN THE CHIMNEY SO I DID NOT HAVE TO BUY MORE BRICKS. HE COULD HAVE PUSHED MORE WORK ON US BUT HE DID NOT.

We were very pleased with Perry's workmanship and level of professionalism. He was quick to respond to my initial request for an estimate, and his price was very fair. Perry explained each step of the process as he worked, and took our preferences into consideration. He was punctual, worked hard, and cleaned up his work area daily. Perry is a very polite man and anxious to please his clients. I would be happy to hire him again.

PERRY DID EXCELLENT WORK! HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE TRADE, AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE STAYED LATE TO MAKE SURE THE WORK GOT DONE, AND HE WAS EXTREMELY THOROUGH. QUALITY AND CARE ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO HIM AND IT SHOWED IN HIS WORK. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE HIM AGAIN!
