The toilets in my home went bad. I resultantly went out to Lowes to purchase replacements. The salesman offered to set up a service call so that they could come out and install them. I declined because I don’t trust anyone with repairs to my home besides Jeffrey (Jeff) Perez, my father-in-law, and myself. My trust in Jeff is largely predicated off of the other projects that he’s completed around my house as documented in other reviews. At any rate, Jeff arrived on time with his son in tow. We shook hands, shared a few jokes, and he got right to work. I figured that he’d need at least 8 hours to do the job (my personal estimate) given that he had to replace and haul away three toilets with no help from anyone other than his son who couldn’t have been anymore than 10 years old but Jeff finished the job in about 5 hours. What was most important about everything is that Jeff was kind enough to clean up behind his son and himself which included sweeping and mopping up their mess. What’s more, he and his son hauled off the old toilets and discarded the packaging from the replacement toilets. Jeff did all of this at a fraction of the cost of what Lowes was going to charge. All of those things in and of themselves are why I trust Personal Touch Maintenance and Construction above Lowes where it comes to my home. Thank you so much Jeff. Jeff was absolutely top tier from beginning to end. He responded right away when I reached out to him about repairing the gutter and trim on my home. I told him about my difficulty in finding a downspout that matched the trim of my home and that I’d essentially given up hope. He laughed and told me that you can’t find everything at big box retailers and that you often have to stop by builder supply stores to find things for your home especially when they’re custom colors. I told him that I had other things that I’d likely want him to work on and asked if he’d be willing to come out for a site visit. He came out as requested and I showed him the damaged gutter and trim. Jeff proceeded to tell me exactly how he’d do the work while assuring me that he’d done similar work before. He earned my faith after that initial conversation so I asked him to take a look at other things around the house to include our covered porch, bathroom, and some other things. He provided quotes that were extremely reasonable in comparison to others. We decided to accept his quotes in having him to remodel our covered porch, do a small paint job, and repair the gutter and trim on our home. Jeff was kind enough to help my next door neighbor with a project that he was working on. But not only that, he was kind enough to repair a small leak under our sink at no additional charge. We’re so extremely satisfied with his service that we’re going to have him do a few more projects for us. I say all of this to say that Jeff is our repairman for life and that I’d recommend him to anyone that’s in need of repair or upgrade services around their house. He’s absolutely top tier as previously denoted.

The previous owner of our home cemented the water hose to the outdoor spigot. Not only that he cemented the spray nozzle to the house. What really irritated me about the entire thing was that it was a 100 foot non-kinkfree hose. I resultantly couldn’t attach our sprinkler system nor our reel kit. I tried to get out there and replace the spigot myself but ran into trouble doing so I’m that I couldn’t get the spigot out of its housing. I resultantly asked Jeffrey Perez of Personal Touch Construction and Maintenance if he could do the job for me. I also asked if he could remodel our shower for us and he said that he could. Jeff came all the way from Wake Forest, NC to Clayton to take us on a trip to Home Depot so that we could purchase the supplies that we needed while simultaneously consulting us on the products for the shower and the spigot. He replaced the spigot in 5 minutes where I struggled with it for an hour before giving up. Moving along, he and his colleague Joey, removed my OEM shower kit in record time. They placed the kit in four construction grade trash bags and placed them at the curb so that the trash man could pick the parts up. They noticed that we had a myriad of plumbing issues and construction issues but this didn’t deter them. They worked expeditiously so that they could resolve them so that they could continue to move forward with the shower upgrade. They then proceeded to install the shower base, drywall, cement board, water proofer, tile, etc. Ans they did an elaborate job in doing so. This is predicated upon the fact that they also had to sand and repaint the area and install new vinyl flooring panels. But not only that, Jeff was kind enough to grab a color sample off of the wall from another room in the house for me so that I could purchase the paint for it. I will of course leave the painting to him because I’ve come to trust him with making repairs to my home much more than I trust myself. With all of that being said, I would highly recommend him to anyone in the RDU area and beyond whose home needs TLC.

Jeffrey did an amazing Job. He is a very hard working young man with great attention to detail. He remodeled a home for me that I couldn’t believe the results. He’s honest with expectations and time frames. Always on time and goes the extra mile. Gets an A++ from me!

Honest home improvement built a wall in my office in record time. The team was punctual and very professional. The wall was up and painted in 3 days and is exactly what we wanted. Jeff checked in multiple times throughout the process to ensure we were satisfied with the work. I can’t recommend this company/team enough. I called Jeffry after a coworker used him. She could not say enough good things about him. So I decided to give him a try. From the first call to the last job, it was the most professional businessmen I’ve dealt with in a long time. I’d like to thank Jeff, who was always on time, did the job right, with no hassel and was knowledgable about all the projects I needed done around my house. I can’t say enough about this guy.
