Kent and his crew were fast, timely, and extremely professional. Kent came by my house a few times leading up to the job to show me samples, provide me with an estimate, and walk me through how the job would take place. The crew came at the appointed date and time, and they finished the job in the estimated time. Each day, they cleaned up thoroughly. I spoke to about eight different roofers and had some bad experiences with professionalism and communication. Persson was easily the most transparent and reliable roofer I spoke to.

He told me he inspected the roof and that the roof was fine.  I had to call him for a follow-up.  There were a couple of tiles broken that he needed to repair.  If he didn't see them I'm not sure if he even inspected the roof!  Very dissappointed! <br />

Updated review. <br /> <br /> My 1st review was not very flattering as I viewed the occurrence given facts as I knew them, and I said I wouldn't use him as I couldn't seem to get an estimate from him.  I rescind that earlier evaluation completely as Mr Persson stopped by and showed me he had indeed sent an email re roofing estimate, which must have gone immediately to my email SPAM.  Since I delete my email SPAM often, I have no way to be sure it came to my account.   <br /> <br /> The estimate he gave me in person seemed to be very fair to re roof with the best roofing material available.  I was impressed that he would take the time to personally stop by after he was made aware of the estimate problem.  I am leaving the Cape until next May.  I will probably use Persson Construction to re roof my house at that time.  If I use Persson Construction for this job, I will update my review at that time.

He did an excellent job. It was a wonderful experience from the beginning, planning and contracting to the end where they cleaned up the yard. They were top notch from the beginning to the end. The quality exceeded my expectations. They cleaned up everyday and at the end they cleaned up everything. They did a great job. I got a good deal. They were very punctual. They were very professional roofers.

From the first contact, Mr. Perrson was a polished professional.  He arrived for our initial meeting on time and answered all our questions thoroughly, clearly knowing his business.  He then submitted his bid for the job in a timely manner.  His crew began work on the very start date he estimated and worked every day... all day.  This is important on a large job so that you are not "under construction" for too long.  Each day the crew cleaned up and checked in to see if all was to our liking.  They also did a few minor repairs that we asked for along the way.  The crew was polite.  The job turned out beautifully.  We have learned much about re-roofing and re-shingling in our search for the right contractor and we are very pleased with the results.  Having waited a long time to undertake this (expensive) home improvement, we are delighted that we found Perrson Construction.  We have already recommended Perrson Construction to our neighbors.

. We had a hard time finding a roofer on Cape Cod through Angie's List.  It seemed that most providers were from off the Cape.  I found Kent Persson through Service Magic and was hesitant to use someone no preapproved through Angie's List but decided to take my chances based on his prompt estimate and professionalism.  I was not disappointed.  As promised Kent and his team arrived at my house as soon as weather permitted and worked tirelessly to complete my roof while the weather held up. I was unable to be at the Cape while Kent was working but saw the job midway through the process and then when it was finished.  The roof looks great and almost as importantly, there was no sign of it having been done, i.e. nails, trash, old shingles left on the property.  I recommend Persson Construction wholeheartedly.
