I have used Peter for over 20 years to paint the outside of my house 3 times. I recently decided to have him paint the whole interior and was very happy I did. His guys move from room to room and do great work I barely noticed they were there even though I work from home. All I had to do was throw all my small items in a box and they took care of moving and covering everything and putting it back. I had no problem leaving his guys working and going off to do errands and the like. The result was fantastic!

Hired Peter Smith Painting for multiple jobs including exterior painting, deck cleaning, interior painting, sheetrock repair, and window installation. Each crew was professional and clean. They made sure to be respectful of neighborhood noise ordinances when using power washers for outdoor work. Paint work was good quality with nice attention to detail including sanding/scraping and identifying/replacing rotten wood. I found the pricing to be very competitive and Peter is good with timely correspondence and working around conflicting schedules.

I highly recommend Peter Smith Painting for exterior house painting based on the recent (June, 2022) outstanding work they did painting our wood shingle house. In addition to the painting they also did a significant amount of carpentry prep work. I have to say that I was totally impressed with everyone on both the carpentry & the painting teams. They were all extremely professional craftsmen and did meticulous work with outstanding attention to detail. Peter was also directly involved in managing the work with regular site visits & he was extremely responsive to each of my text message change requests. Importantly, the work was started & completed on the precise schedule that Peter had committed to - despite some weather challenges. The outstanding quality of all the work further emphasized how very appropriate the pricing for the project was. My wife & I are so pleased with the results that we are already planning on using Peter Smith Painting for our interior painting project in the coming months.

Peter and his team did an excellent job painting the trim on our home and power washing it, as well as our patio. We've used them previously for inside work, which was also done very well. His price was fair, the work quality is excellent, they show up on time, and they are pleasant to have around. Peter's advice on color and paint finish was quite helpful.

It went very well. This is the third time I hired Peter. The first time was for the exterior of the house, The next was about half the rooms inside. This most recent time was the rest of the inside and also the exterior deck. Sometimes the workers took a shortcut and did not spend the time to prepare the plaster in a few spots, but when i mentioned it to Peter, he had them back to correct it, and it looks perfect and new even though the house is so old!

Peter and his crew are excellent. Peter is very knowledgeable about his craft and made some great suggestions along the way that made the project better. His crew got the job done on time and the workmanship was fantastic. I will be using him again and I highly recommend him.

Peter's team painted the exterior trim on our house. It is a larger house with lots of intricate trim work so it could be tedious work. They also replaced any rotted trim pieces as part of the work. It took them about 3 days and he and his team were very professional and courteous - great to work with. They did a fantastic job. Looking forward to having him do some interior painting soon.

This was a wonderful experience. Peter Smith is professional and expert in his assessments and knowledge. During our initial meeting he answered most of my questions before I asked them. This is quite an accomplishment as I ask a lot of questions. Products used were high quality. Before work began, Peter said that punctuality is key. The teams arrived about 15 minutes prior to starting each work day. His teams were skilled, meticulous in their work, and responsive to any questions or comments. Cleanup at the end of each day was impeccable. They completed the job less than an hour ago. Their excellent work has restored the appearance of my house. Peter’s crew did a great job and everything turned out exactly how I wanted. There was a lot of rotted wood siding and trim that needed to be replaced and Peter’s carpentry team did a great job with the quality of their work.

Peter is spectacularly friendly and professional. The work was done exactly on schedule with the kitchen being clean and dry every evening so I could still make dinner. The painting work is so precise and clean it looks brand new.

Great. That half of the house had not been painted for 30 years. Peter Smith Company painted walls, ceilings, and interiors of the closets. The crew repaired all the walls meticulously before painting. They moved all the furniture out of the way and put it back when the job was done. The job took about 1 and 1/2 weeks. The painters were always on time, worked an entire day from 7:00am to 5:30pm. They cleaned up after themselves every evening before leaving....vacuuming, folding up the tarps, etc. I highly recommend them. Peter Smith is very responsive; always answered my emails promptly. His crew were all friendly, polite and competent at their jobs. I used this company about 5 years ago for an exterior painting job as well, and had the same great experience. I will certainly use them again in the future. Their professionalism was great.

Wen extremely well. This was my second time using Peter, and I will continue to do so. His quality is top notch, always shows up on time, does exactly what's stated with no concerns. Great workers and highly professional. For this work he pressure washed the whole house, stained the deck, and painted the house. Came out great. Very much recommended.
