Awesome. Alex and his team were supremely helpful and his attention to detail was a breathe of fresh air. my wife and I were intimidated by the projects that we were undertaking but the Petra team and Alex made us feel better about everything. Definitely using them again once I have the funds. Cannot picture us using anybody else. First time for us using a contractor and I consider us lucky to have stumbled across Petra.

Petra is currently in the middle of the job, which is rebuilding my condo unit after a demolition. So far, Alex Duque, the owner, has exhibited true professionalism and care every step of the way. He is very experienced at dealing with many moving parts, and it's invaluable that he was trained as a builder. Once the job is finished, I look forward to writing another review, and at that time, I will post pictures.

All I can say is it was a great experience work was very professional it looks great. The workers were friendly and my place was cleaned each day. When they were finished all trash was removed and my yard was cleaner when they left then before they started. The salesman and owner were great to deal with and everything they planed was done.

The crew is friendly, professional and proficient. They came on schedule and did an amazing job. The crew completed our deck in two days and cleaned all remaining debris. We are extremely satisfied with the end result. We highly recommended Petra for their services and I'm definitely will use them with any future projects.

Alex and his team worked with Universal Renovation Consultants in August 2016. About a week into the project, they stopped showing up. They had half the money but had only done the demolition phase. They claimed they were bankrupt and would not do the rest of the work, and that was that. Alex is a thief and liar. Do not trust your hard earned money with this con man. Alex even wrote threatening texts to me personally.

Petra Construction was AWESOME, so professional at all times. Alex always got back to me right away when I had questions or concerns. EVERYTHING went accordingly and the construction crew were so professional, polite and clean, they always cleaned up after themselves. I am so very Happy with Petra Construction and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Petra construction and management was formerly partnered with Universal Renovation Consultants. Alex Duque led the work when I hired them30000 were hired to do a ~$29,000 renovation for me and ended up doing over $30,000 in damages. I'm still fighting with their insurance company for the cost of repairs and the additional monies that will be required of me to find another place to live for several months while my place is fixed. He destroyed my floors after doing them himself instead of having a professional team come in as he promised. He destroyed my bathroom by doing the work himself and not using a licensed plumber despite providing me with their insurance and license number. Every fixture he installed is lloose or damaged. He claims that every screw up is "standard practice" and does everything he can to convince you that he knows best and you know nothing. Whatever you do, do not trust Alex Duque. He is nothing but a con artist who will screw you out of tens of thousands of dollars. Do not believe his lies about a 5 year guarantee if he's still making that promise. He will close his company so he doesn't have to honor it. That's what he and his partner did at Universal. Any company that promises a guarantee for longer than they've been in business is one to be wary of. I'm amazed that Angie's List is allowing him to relist despite all the complaints of running off with money he and his partner had on their old page. You can find it by searching on Google, they've stopped showing up in the Angie's List search.

The workers where very professional and courteous. They respected our home and our family The work was done with in the time allotted and the room turned out to be just what we where looking for. Alex listened to what we wanted along with giving us some other good ideas.

Alex and his crew have been beyond fantastic. He is extremely responsive and very easy to work with. It's clear that he has his clients' best interest in mind at all times. We ran into some issues when we tore down sheetrock, and Alex took the bull by the horns and cost effectively put our concerns to rest. His crew works quickly and diligently. No BS at all. Very impressive company.

Everything went great. They removed the leaking bathtub and installed a new one with porcelain tiles. Medicince cabinates were put in. Their work is very detailed and done in a timely manner. I would recommend to others and hire in the future.

I had a great experience with Petra, I would deffinitely hire again.

Removed approx 3200 Square Ft of my ugly flooring and replaced with beautifully selected and installed Brazilian dark cherry flooring, it took me almost a month to make my final selection and some how they did not mind it... they just want it me to be sure it was exactly what I want it. Love it

Removed my old clunky boiler and water heater (Hugeeeee) and replace with a high efficiency Weill McClain boiler (small boiler)..... never knew that we can gain so much space after all changes and removal...... Alex and one of his Partner Plumbing Company's made several recommendation to replace our old huge cast-iron boiler for a new and highly efficient boiler 92% and higher, it was a whole educational process they made sure to explain the whole process and how to operate for additional performance, needless to said I feel like a professional talking about our new heating system in addition to all of the other changes that were performed just in time for winter season, did I mentioned that the boiler also works as a water heater?

Kudos to Alex and his Team.... we used Petra Construction over the years for several different projects in our house, Kitchen, Siding and full house renovation. it never stops to amaze my husband and I. The attention to quality and design is superb Alex has always guide us to spend just as necessary showing us how to get the million dollar look we want spending only a fraction... as he says it is all it the final touches and coordination of all products toilet, sink, tub, vanity ETC

Extremely knowledgeable, help trough out the whole design process from cabinet purchase via one of the many suppliers they have relations with at their discounts.... our original cabinetry was priced at approximately $11,000.00 (12' x 18' Kitchen) with Forevermark we were able to save and additional 35% because of their discounts...... I totally love my final product our kitchen now opens to my formal dining room, TOP QUALITY will recommend to any of my family and friends as my husband said "They do not make them like this anymore" referring to Alex the Owner and his crew.
