Cannot sing their praises enough. Dan and his company have been a true God send for our family the past two months. My father-in-law passed away unexpectedly and we were left with a home full of things and unsure where to turn or how to get through it all ourselves. We were referred to Dan for junk removal services after the family had gone through everything and we ended up using Dan and Petra Moving for junk removal, carpet removal, painting, handyman, and project management services. It was a complete one-stop-shop and took SUCH a load off of our shoulders, as we all lived out of the area. Having someone we could trust on the ground every day helping us get the house ready for sale was huge. The house was under contract in less than 15days and I think Dan and Petra had a huge part in that! Thank you again Dan, you have customers for life!

I first went to Angi's list to find a recommendation for a moving company to move our son and family to a new house. My wife and I came to West Virginia from California to help with the move and spend time with the grandkids. I sent a request to four companies to contact me so I could get an estimate. Daniel from Petra Moving Company was the first one to call me almost immediately. I set up an appointment to meet with Daniel at my son's home the next day and he was on time and very informative answering all my questions. Daniel took pictures and videos of the entire house including the full basement and gave us a good estimate. I did have one other company come to the house for an estimate but after talking with Daniel it was clear that Petra would get the job. Daniel set up three possible moving dates for my son because he was waiting for escrow to close on the new house. Escrow did close when it was supposed to and Daniel was able to start the move immediately for us. What was thought to be a two day move ended up taking three days because of unforeseen glitches. Daniel and his team did a great job getting things boxed and moved to the new house. They were always there to start work when they said they would be there and worked till the job was done. I think Daniel underestimated how much work the move would take but stuck to the original estimate he gave my son. All of the work was done while moving around a three year old and a two year old. All the workers included having the kids help when packing their rooms. Daniel even found someone to come to the house he moved out of to do some minor repairs and get it ready to rent or lease since my son owned the house and was not going to sell it. Wait there's more. As it turned out the person doing the repairs ended up leasing the house with his family for a year. Thank you Daniel for helping in a time of need.

I was very happy with this moving service. Dan (owner) was very personable and responsive. Gave timely estimate which was the best price of all my estimates. His team was courteous and professional. They were also flexible on-site with last-minute requests which was appreciated. Friendly and great attitudes. Small thing but something I appreciated - they prefer to work straight through and knock everything out rather than break for lunch. Will be using Petra again.

Daniel and his team did an excellent job in packing, wrapping and moving furniture for us. They were expert, polite, careful, and very good about keeping us informed of the delivery on the other end. Everything arrived on time and intact.

Our experience was seamless! They went above and beyond to accommodate our unique move from several storage units to our new home! Cost was reasonable and we had no complaints!

Owner Daniel was very professional and friendly and he and Terrence arrived on time, packed my belongings with care, and communicated with me as we separately made our way to my new home in another state. The unloading was quick and proficient.

Daniel and Terrence did a great job moving my stuff from one home to another home in different cities. They took care of everything very well and were careful about moving stuff in and out of both houses.

There are not enough words to explain how well things went - Daniel and Terrance were wonderful! God forbid, if I ever have to move again (the trauma of dealing with the first "company" I hired will last forever!) I would hire Petra Moving Company in a heartbeat. Daniel is very honest, fair, and kind. It was clear from the moment I first spoke with him that he conducts himself and his business with utmost professionalism and integrity.

It went really well! We used Petra for the first time and they were GREAT! They were professional yet friendly, fun and respectful. They took great care with our items and with the walls and floor in our new home. They answered questions and gave suggestions to make sure all the items would arrive safely. Mr. Petra and his team were a pleasure to work with. They made the move simple and fun! Any issues were quickly resolved and Mr. Petra kept me in the look every step of the way. We had a very difficult layout with tight corners and many stairs, with no elevator, that any one would have trouble with. They did what they could to work around the difficult layout. They did damage the walls and some floors n the tighter areas which they of course repaired. Nothing major, very basic drywall repairs. Again, our layout was not typical. A couple non-expenisve things were broken but they took that in to account with the final price. This is all stuff that is expected of a big move like ours and they were forthcoming and honest about everything. The packing was also well done with things being thoroughly wrapped and taped up. We were moving in to a single family home and there were no issues with that. The overall convenience and experience of hiring their company was a positive one.

Petra did an amazing job! The whole team was very efficient, kind, and considerate. So grateful we chose them to help us move into our new home. Such a blessing!
