Petro, aka Burke Energy, aka Sclafani Energy, preys on senior citizens, sending them fraudulent bills, and then refusing to correct their obvious errors. Then they engage in a campaign of harassment to collect their billing fraud. DON'T USE THEM!

CAUTION PETRO is unprofessional and untrustworthy. If it was possible I would provide 0 stars. We have been a customer of Petro for 15 yrs, buying thousands of dollars of equipment (new boiler in '14) & oil from them with satisfaction. This all changes in June'21 when we signed a contract to have a new AC unit installed. After 2.5 months the unit arrived in Sept'21 therefore we did not allow for an install until spring'22 for good reason of a unit not being used or tested for 6+monts in NY. Petro sent a tech to our home at 7 am without an appointment in Oct'21, we denied install again until spring'22. Then in Jan'22 we received an invoice with interest for the unit that has not been installed. After several phone calls this was fixed. Finally on April 4, 2022 we have the unit fully installed and paid in full. The first hot stretch of weather (7/21) our unit begins to drip from the front of our entry (outside) starts blowing hot air and stops cooling. Petro comes and "corrects" the issue and we have AC until the following night when we are awaken at 1am to dripping water in our entryway from the attic where our unit is installed. Petro comes and admits they improperly installed the unit (improperly pitched) and therefore the safety failed and the secondary pan overflowed into our walls, entryway floor, and attic. Why this was seen as a potential issue on 7/21 is remarkable. On 7/23 a secondary line is ran to allow us to have AC but the unit needs to be properly reinstalled. It has been 2 wks. and we have mold growing by the minute in our attic which we are breathing. Petro's attempt to correct this was to have an internal resource who does some construction correct a potentially toxic issue which we refused as we need this professionally repaired and corrected. We have not heard from Petro to repair our walls and ceiling, remediate any mold we are breathing, or properly install the unit they installed improperly that created this nightmare. We trusted Petro and their service professionals to do a proper install which has been nothing but a nightmare. I would advise you find another company who can adhere to their agreements.

Service is very good, always fix any issues and give me 24/7 support. I have been using them for a very long time.

Pricing rate nearly doubled as compared to average prices for the area. They were unwilling to provide any response or explanation that make sense. They are not willing to refund the difference between what they charge and to the average price on the area. The average price is based on New York States energy prices.

They overcharged me and delivered more oil than I needed!

Worked well but cold caused problems each day so second visit required

Tank replacement went well but trying to get them to service furnace when it was not working did not go well.

The came out right away and told me that there was a defective part that needed to be replaced. Told me it was covered by my service plan. They said they'd be out the next day. They came out the next day and replaced the part. Prompt service! A week later I get a bill for $639. I wasn't even given a repair estimate since it was "covered by my service plan". People don't like this sort of surprise!

I don't really have anything to compare it with, because it's not something you do more than once every 10-15 years. Their pricing was competitive. I was happy and satisfied with their work.

We are on an monthly payment schedule, and we pay $180 an month. They are very proactive in terms of that they call us for when we need our maintenance scheduled. They are very proactive when our contract needs to be done. When they deliver, they are in an out quickly and easy, we do not have to do anything with our delivery getting done. If I have any issue, they respond within twenty four hours, and I have no issue reaching someone on the phone. I really like that with them.

Their services were very good.

They give you a window when they are going to come so if they not, they don't say they going to be there nine thirty they said we'll be there in the morning and they always come at least in the window they say so. <br /> <br /> I'm very satisfied. <br /> <br /> Basically their good quite good.

It took some time (multiple visits) but it finally got resolved. No additional price was charged, even though the final solution implemented was more expensive

Jason arrived on time and replaced the broken capacitor quickly. He also examined a separate heat pump, and gave me an estimate and advice about repairing that unit. He was friendly and knowledgable.
