The installation seemed to go well but the workers were in a hurry to finish on the Friday prior to President's Day. I contacted the PIC on the following Tuesday because 1) I have not received my warranty. 2) The shower doors were supposed to be frosted and clear doors were installed. 3) A second valve (not a 2 way) valve was supposed to be installed by the bench for the rainhead and this did not occur. I was told they would get back to me the next week, so waited until the following Wednesday to follow-up. We have been reaching out on a daily basis and have not received any return calls. I am VERY disappointed. These should be MINOR issues but no after care at all.

Terrible. Tony's crew walked on my ceilings and cracked the ceilings in 5 rooms while working in the attic. Tony came and viewed the damage and told me that he'd get it repaired. He never followed thru. I finally had to hire other contractors to replace all the ceilings. The total damages were $10K. Tony asked for a contract for him to pay me for the damages, I created it, modified it as he requested and he refused to sign it. He finally paid me ~$5K. I should have taken him to court for consumer fraud (MA) and claimed against his insurance. I'd be very careful dealing with him.

The final sales promise was that PIC would use highly skilled professionals. A BIG LIE. They used illegal immigrants that didn't speak one word of English. Thus, extremely poor communication. Some areas had to done 3 TIMES before the siding was done somewhat correctly. It also took 5 months. DO NOT USE PIC Home Pros; there's NOT Pros.

1) They took out my only shower, & only then told me that the shower color that we agreed upon was not available. I had the choice of not having anywhere to shower for a few weeks or agree to their new offer. 2) The shower they installed was not of the size that was agreed upon in the contract (although better quality of material) 3) They left a hole in my wall & said they would not fix it 4) A foot/leg shaving bar was supposed to be installed (& this was in contract), but was never installed. I wrote to them to express my disappointment & they said nothing could be done. A month later the shaving bar has still not been installed, even though they said it would be put in ASAP. That said, the shower looks beautiful & I do love it (just do not like the ugly hole in the wall, customer service, lack of shaving bar, and wrong size). If you want something specific, beware, if you are flexible about colors, size, and look, and want someone else to make all the decisions for you and roll the dice, these people are perfect.

The job was started in the first week of December of 2015 and completed in six days. We had a 3 man crew on the job. On the evening of the 4 day they were installing weather shield and shingles at 7pm in 39 degree temperature with a slight drizzle on the north side of the roof. They had one drop light for the three workers. I gave them two of my quartz lights so they could see. I then saw the quality of the work being done. The weather shield had severe wrinkles and numerous shingles were not laying flat. They told me that they would flatten out when the sun got to them. I called the supervisor and left a message that I didn't want the crew back on my roof until he saw the job. He came early the next morning and gave me the same story - they will lay flat when the sun comes out.
We waited until the following June - so the roof had plenty of sun for the shingles to lay flat. But they didn't. After fighting with PIC Homes for 3 months they finally stripped and replaced the shingles on the north side of the house. I also complained about the numerous (over 50) instances where the shingles were not installed correctly. Instead of laying side by side, they were installed over lapping the shingle beside each other. They did correct 80% of the overlapping shingles and I climbed onto my roof (three stories high) to correct the other over lapping shingles. After starting the job in December 2015, the job was finally completed on 9/16/ 2016, nine and one half months later.
PS - Pic Homes Pro did blame the shingle manufacturer for giving them defective shingles and the company did provide Pic Homes Pro with the new shingles. However the shingles were only defective on the north side of the house but not on the south side
The job took longer then the estimator predicted, but not longer then I thought it would take. We had 2 little spots that needed attention some months after completion and the foreman came out and fixed them. He has many years of experience so he was able to ascertain the problem and was fixed. No charge. We were very happy with the crew, their work ethic and professionalism. I diffidently recommend them.

Anthony and his team were great to work with. From the initial visit to the final day on the project, the team was thorough and professional. They exceeded our expectations on this project. Anthony was also very helpful with providing necessary information for our insurance claim and even contacted our agent personally to explain the scope of work. We would use them again in a heartbeat.
Joe Macdonald, is the senior inspector. He came to give an estimate for the mold. Upon 5 minutes of looking in our attic, he said we had a level 1 issue. And if would cost approx. $6000 to fix it. We had a 2nd company come the next day and they reported that we had zero mold in our house. Joe did a 5 minute radon test. Radon cannot be tested in 5 minutes. He told us our levels were extremely elevated. He said, "off the record, I would have put this house on the market yesterday." Then he said, "if you retire here, you will die of lung cancer in your 80's." He said this in front of our 2 toddlers. I have called the manager to tell about his scare tactics and he was dishonest that we did not have the level of mold he described. He used these scare tactics as his sales pitch. I feel he was dishonest, and untrustworthy. I would never recommend him of this company to anyone because we have been targeted as a young family and we almost spent $6000 with them unnecessarily.

I paid $69 through an Angie's List "Big Deal" for what was advertised as a "complete home mold inspection".

What I got was a single swab of a single beam in the attic. Two other companies I called out for estimates did this exact test... for free.

The estimate I was given for mold remediation by PIC Home Pros was TRIPLE the lowest estimate I received for the same work, even the same brand of products, and exactly DOUBLE the middle estimate from the company I ended up going with. I have never been more sure that getting at least 3 estimates is the only way to know you're not getting ripped off... and I would certainly have been ripped off if I'd had this work done by PIC.

That being said, the inspector who came to my home was on time, professional, and not pushy when I saw the estimate and said "umm...we'll have to talk about this and get back to you".

Crew works well together, one man keeps on top of who is doing what but also works himself. Another man oversees project and runs out getting parts as needed. They did a great job, and I am very happy with the project. The outside work had to wait a few months, as there was over 6 feet of snow on the ground. I did not have to call and remind them, they just came back and finished up as soon as weather permitted, which was great.
I took photos at the end of each day and had someone review how things were going; he fully approved! Any questions I had, they were able to explain to me on the spot.
Service provider quickly assessed need for treatment, provided estimate and possible schedule.
However, we both recognized that the affected rooms were scheduled for demolition and restoration, so we agreed to proceed with that and skip any attempt to remove mold from walls that were to be demolished.
He also helped with a recommendation for removing mold from valuable books, which I found very helpful.
Work was completed by a sub contractor on time as quoted. No leaks detected after major rain storms. Have not been through a winter to see how the roof does with snow.
Response from PIC Home Pros
"Thank you for your review. At PIC Home Pros, we strive for exceptional workmanship and service. To achieve this, we must hire skilled workers that have many years experience and expect an above average paycheck. Because we're not in the business of low ball quotes and cheap work, our prices tend to be higher than most of our competitors. To be honest, most all of our complaints are because of price, even if it's not stated, it is because people after the job is completed with no issues, they feel they could have got the same workmanship at a cheaper price. Home improvement workmanship according to the Better Business Bureau is the #1 complaint, after cellphone service, because people believe they can get the same workmanship at much cheaper prices, and this simply is gambling on your home and why so many homeowners in Amercia get burned by contractors. [Member name removed], we are sorry you feel this way, however, we give every homeowner the ability to research our company and others and when our roofing inspector met you (Jeff), he clearly stated to you, that you will find many companies to do your metal roof cheaper. We always inform our prospects that we are not the cheapest, because we strive for exceptional workmanship. We feel that once you take the time to research multiple companies and then decide to move forward with our company that you too are responsible for your decisions and had ample time to not choose our company. Although, we are disappointed with your choice to write a negative review about our company purely based on price, we know the roof will last a longtime and we will keep our company pledge to honor your warranty. PIC Home Pros does provide high quality service, however, not all workmanship is the same with roofing companies."

They were not very helpful. The guy basically, I was not around, he was not very courteous. He came in and wrote up a form. It didn't clearly help anything.

I am very satiefied witht he work that was done by PIC Home Pros, and with the men who did the work. they kept me informed every step of the way, and treated me and my house with respect. (With one small exception: one of them emptied a bucket of dirty water into one of my flower beds.)
When I was negotiating with PIC Home Pros about doing the job, they obtained financing for me. They didn't discuss the finance charge, and, shame on me, I didn't ask. The company emailed a contract to me in an attachment I wasn't able to open. Before I got to asking them for a paper copy, I decided to put off the work to see if my incurance company would cover at least part of the cost. They didn't.
When the job was done and I was authorizing financing, I discovered that the finance charge I unknowingly agreed to is 13%. That's much higher than I'm happy with.
Would I have agreed to that finance charge if I had known it? I don't know. But, at least, I would have tried to negotiate it down a bit. Would I have succeeded? Who knows? Whould I have been able to get a better deal elsewhere? again, who knows. But I would have liked to have had the chance to try.
