Our project with picture perfect went just fine. We agreed on all the designs and color options after they provided the quote and we signed. The work went fine with the crew and getting the bathroom gutted to start the remodel. All the finish work looks great as well and they have been awesome to work with.

Our experience went well, Mike was on time and his team remodeled our bathroom in a little over a week. We were able to reuse the claw foot tub that was in our home when we bought it and now it's in a bathroom design that looks great

The crew was punctual and worked quickly and with as little mess as was possible . They left a clean job site at the end of the day. They completed the job within the timeline and more importantly within the budget. With most renovations there are occasional surprises and the crew handled them with ease and continued on to completion.
The Project Manager and crew were in my opinion outstanding. I would not hesitate to use them again.
They came as scheduled and replaced and touched up the drywall (I had leftover paint) The two man crew was quick, effecient and neat. All work was to my satisfaction and the price charged was what had been agreed upon. I will recommend them to friends and call them again.
Picture Perfect did an outstanding job on my guest bathroom. The project manager provided a materials selection list and all i had to do was write the SKU codes on the form to select my tile/tub/toilet/vanity/lighting/etc. This method totally streamlined the entire process, and PPHI actually purchased the items themselves from Home Depot and sent us copies of the receipts on the final billing. The workers were knowledgable and showed up on time every day of the project. They even finished a day ahead of schedule and under the original budget!! It's hard to find a good contractor and I am glad i found PPHI
He was not our first choice. Our first choice had gotten ill and couldn't do the job so we went with the second choice. Mike Neis is a charmer at first. The project started off bad. He had called and told us he was going to be at our place to start the project on Saturday. We told him no because we hadn't even ordered the tile. He showed up on Saturday with a band of men. I don't know why we let him continue since we had said no to him a couple of days earlier. The first thing we had them do was repair the kitchen drain so that we could have a source of water while the bathrooms would be out of commission. We had his crew look at the faucet to replace the valve we had bought. They made an excuse that the valve wouldn't fit our faucet because it was aftermarket. They then began the destruction of the upstairs bathroom. This went pretty efficiently as destruction is easy and fun. We saved money, $400, by hauling away the construction debris ourselves. They did some prep and repair of drywall but I had to tell him, and it was a fight, to not use green board in the shower area and that we would use concrete board as is recommended bu US Gypsum (USG). I purchased the concrete board.("Green board" or "mold-resistant board" is NOT authorized by the manufacturer to be in "wet" areas. That is your shower/tub area. Green board is for "damp" areas. That is behind your toilet and sink. This is according to the manufacturer who will not warranty an improper installation.) His staff screwed up an entire sheet of concrete board and ended up wasting about 30%. Mike made lewd and crude jokes with me when my wife wasn't around and he would not listen to my wife when she was. At one point he caused her to cry because he was not listening to her and addressing his responses to me. We wanted an offset pattern in the shower/tub area which he argued against saying we didn't have enough tile which was false because we returned multiple boxes. His staff did not properly cut the tile nor use proper techniques. I have pictures and videos of his worker hanging out the bathroom window, cutting the tile free hand. Mike had bought a brand new tile saw for this job. At one point during the construction, Mike called my wife while drunk to complain that I was asking too many questions and he wasn't going to deal with me. We had purchased a glass door via Overstock.com and Mike would refer to it as an "Internet Door" despite it being available at The Tile Shop and Home Depot. His staff broke a expensive transition which caused a delay as the tile shop had to reorder it and ship it from Italy. We wanted an offset pattern on the floor since he went with a straight on the wall and they ended up doing a straight on that. His helpers hung the medicine cabinet and toiletries cabinet too low. I could not see myself in the mirror over the sink. They did correct this. They had put down the baseboard before installing the vanity which caused a gap. Their solution was to caulk in a piece of baseboard to hide the space. At one inspection, the toilet rocked because it was improperly installed. We complained repeatedly that the tub seemed to be moving. Mike left the job 95% complete on March 16, 2013. We tried to get him back out to go over the deficiencies. He made threatening and harassing calls and finally he sued us in August for a job that was not completed. We counter sued. It ended up being settled out of court. During the court process, it was discovered that his crew did not put an important support in the back of the tub enclosure which caused the tub to move and the drain to no longer be able to be closed. It will cost us over $8,000 to correct the mistakes of this man and his crew since it will have to be like doing it over from scratch. His work in the kitchen drain failed within months and had to be brought up to code at a price of over $1,000. The drain in the bathroom sink is built the same way and having very similar problems. It needs to be brought up to code. The failure to cut the tile properly caused the tile to be crooked and have little over cuts throughout the project. The tile is already coming loose from improper adhesion and the movement of the tub has caused the caulk and grout to crack. This was to be a dream bathroom but Mike and crew turned it into a nightmare. I can honestly say run, as fast as you can, from this charlatan.
Project Manager assisted with choices of tile and fixtures but was not pushy. Answered questions and was very responsive to any issue I brought to him. These were everthing from a "real" question to just helping to calm my nerves through the process of having people and disruption in my home.
Crew memebers were exceptional. They were on time, careful of my home and did their jobs efficiently and with the skill of the craftsmen they are. They took pride in their work. They cleaned up each day and left the site at the end very clean.
This project came in on time and on budget. There were issues to be addressed during the remodel, as there always is, when you start tearing out the old to bring in the new. Each challenge was met and addressed promptly which helped to keep the project moving along and be completed in a timely fashion.
I will have this team do my next project.
).Price wise they are cheap.. but you get what you pay for. The work was shoddy, and they had to come back to fix a few things that were not correctly done. The floor and wall tile is uneven and the caulking in some parts was almost an inch wide. They also provided no help in what to remodel, like comparable contractors would (advise on what you should do). In a couple of instances, they installed material that was not what I ordered, and did not leave receipts for me to return them (for example the shower nozzle leaks incessently and is not the one I ordered
Again, if you want something cheap you get what you pay for.
Very good work on my mother's house. Adam, the project manager, was very helpful in measuring and recommending the fixtures and cupboards. etc., which I then picked out and ordered from Home Depot. Everything was done quickly and the clean-up was thorough with minimal intrusion on the home health aide's schedule. Planning to replace living room rug with wood and will definitely hire them for this.

The main reason I went with PPHI is because of their price.

First, I'll start with the bathroom remodel. They did an average job. There were some areas in the shower tile that were not done quite right and the tile was not laid flat against the wall. As a result, some areas look uneven. Some areas of the walls and ceiling were not sanded down properly prior to painting. Not the biggest deal in the world, but when you are paying thousands of dollars to get your bathroom remodeled, you would expect it to be done right. The main problem I had with the bathroom has been with the floor grout, which started to come up days after they finished. There was a specific area that had to be redone when they were close to finishing. The grout in this specific area has been coming up. I have contacted PPHI to fix the problem with the grout.

My major problem with PPHI was the kitchen. I ordered my cabinets through PPHI. I spoke with the project manager at the time I ordered them and indicated that the kitchen had to start no later than a certain date. If that date passed, we needed to discuss a new time to start. Once the date passed, the project manager called me days later and basically told me that we needed to start when HE wanted to. The date we needed them to start didn't even matter. At that moment, I immediately terminated my relationship with PPHI. I went with another contractor to finish my kitchen. During the kitchen remodel, I noticed inaccuracies in the measurements of the cabinets specifically with the crown molding and the cabinet above the range. I had my contractor order the correct cabinet and not install the crown molding. I asked the owner of PPHI to reimburse me for the cost of fixing this problem.

I have contacted PPHI several times to remediate the above issues and have essentially being ignored by the owner and project manager. I got a lengthy voicemail from the owner basically stating he wouldn't do anything since I went with another contractor. My major problem with PPHI is their lack of customer service in general. I am a paying customer and paid them ON TIME, and these guys treat me like some guy off the street. I do not recommend using PPHI. If you do, just hope your project goes perfectly. If not, they will treat you like you don't exist.

Showed up early, good. Repairs were done OK except outside vent and microwave vent. The outside vent repair caused the vent to not completely open and excessive caulk was used. The microwave vent popped off the top of the microwave when I used it the next morning.
Coupon stated I was to receive 4 hours of handyman labor service for $199. Only to find out later this was actually man hour labor, not 4 hours of service. Two workers arrived. Only 2 men were needed for the microwave portion. The rest of the repairs did not need 2 people. I left the house for an appointment after 1 hour at which point the microwave vent issue and the faucet were done (very good). The drywall repair and the outside vent issue remained. It was only a 3ft x 3ft piece of drywall that needed to be redone and the outside vent needed to be sealed. Somehow this took over 2 hours. Then upon finishing they wanted another $200. They stated the coupon was for 4 man hours of labor and with 2 men x 2 hours I exceeded my coupon. at which point the remaining hour reverted to full price, $100/hr per man. The owner was willing to discuss an amenable arrangement, at which point I conceded to another $100 when I shouldn't have. The outside vent didn't work/open correctly and they suggested more money to come back and fix it. The repairman was supposed to go to the store while I was gone to get a new vent and he didn't. I have no idea why it took 2 more hours to repair the small piece of drywall. I should have never left the house. I ended up buying a new outside vent and replacing and sealing it myself. I also secured the microwave vent back in place.
The coupon did not state it was for man hours, they only needed 2 men for a small part of the job, maybe 20 minutes, and the owner never stated the coupon was for man hours and the workers only stated this after the job was done. I would have either never bought the coupon or stopped them at 2 hours.

"Yes 4 hours of handyman means one man, you agreed to two men because of the danger and weight of removal and reinstall of microwave, and wow we did drywall work, painting, vent work and went to Home Depot for a $199 coupon-sounds like my guys worked the whole time, Glad you atleast liked the work and mentioned we gave you a discount"

It went really well. I contacted them through their number on Angie's list and got a messaging service, which was a little strange at first. However, I got a call back that day so it was totally fine.
Harold came by to give an estimate one evening and drew up the contract in real time. We had received other bids from other top Angie's list companies of about $8-9.5K. Harold said he had a crew ready to go for two days from then and he said it would be $6400 including installation of gym flooring. He said we did not need a permit to do the work, which I did give me some concerns but I also trusted Angie's list reviews that these guys were really professional. I signed the bid and paid half up front.
The only negative experience I had was that I ended up reaching out to Mike about whether we needed permits/being concerned about closeting the furnace without someone inspecting the airflow, etc. He said they would send over a gas expert journeyman to check it out and that I would hear about scheduling soon. I never heard anything after that and the project was done so fast that I never really followed up before it was done (which is a good thing that it was done so fast).
During construction: The two gentleman that executed our project were both very nice. I am bad with names, but they were great. It was an out of the way basement room but they still cleaned up every day and put their tools away really neatly. I was super impressed and so was my wife who was worried about dust/dirt with our baby. A couple of issues came out of our quick turnaround on the project (meaning I hadn't drawn out what I wanted or written out specs) but they were always fixed VERY quickly. They framed the door about 2 feet from where I wanted it and they moved it for just $75 in labor with no material cost - which i think is very fair since I didn't specify in writing where I wanted it. I also gave them HDMI outlets so that I could hang a TV and they installed those at no additional costs, which was a great help to me. The WHOLE project was done in 7-8 work days, which was fantastic.
Overall: We left the project thinking that these guys were great. We recently had a less-than-grand experience with a large addition ($150K+) to our house using a Angie's List Service Award winner and these guys were much better. I'm OCD so I tend to point out things not done very well (which irritated the other builder to death), but these guys did everything right the first time despite not having a lot of direction. They just finished a couple days ago and I have already recommended them to two good friends, so I really do have a positive opinion of them.

Adam and mike did a great job helping with our project. We needed a room and bathroom in the basement finished for our mother in law who was going to be staying with us for a while. We had several contractors give estimates all for similar scopes of work. Picture Perfect had a better price than two of the contractors and the other guy who was lower didn't seem to understand our needs. From selecting paint to tile, fixtures and new carpet, Adam and mike made the process easy and made my wife and I feel very comfortable. We waited about two weeks before the project started, I felt like we were given a very realistic timeframe for how long the project would take. The crews showed up on time and were polite and worked fast and efficient. As a whole the project was amazing. The crews work was very clean and neat. We were impressed mostly with the painters and tile installers. The quality of the craftsmanship was impressive. The last day we had carpet installed in the smaller bedroom, they had a great selection of products in stock ranging in quality and color. The carpet crew was in and out in a few hours and cleaned up nicely.
