I was told the job would be done in three to four days. I fired Larry six days in. He has no buisness doing any remodeling as he has no idea what he is doing. He made a huge mess throughout my house. Walls were replaced not plum. After a horrible tile job it looked like the top of the walls were falling in. I am now in the process of having all of his work fixed, including new walls and tile. Many other issues with his horrible work. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

I would never use him again. He says he has done this for so many years. Because I didn't let him come into my house, he was offended. He was supposed to fix the roof, not come in. I was just getting home. I thought he was going to go ahead and tell me what he had to do. But he wanted me to contract to do more work. I said, "Well, why don't you just go ahead and do the things that I paid for?" He said to me, "I'm not afraid to get up on the roof." "That's what I paid for. You're the roofer." I was outside, working. That was another problem. So I didn't come back in the house. I went around the front of my yard. He went up the ladder. I think I was on my knees and before I came back he was gone. So I don't know what he did up there. That was kind of upsetting. One good thing about the roofer that did the roof this time was, he stood in the yard, backed up in the yard and said, "Don't you know the shingles are missing right here?" Why didn't the other gentleman tell me that? So I wouldn't use him. I just don't trust him. He was friendly, just pushy. The price was great. But did I get what I wanted? I don't know. I don't think so. You can't work like that in five minutes. I told him to come at a certain time because I would be gone and he came before I got here. I would tell a friend that you have to sort of know what price it should be because for what he said needed to be done, he charged more for them than they really cost.

Leaks successfully stopped and continues to be leak free. Once they made it here they did it quickly. <br />

Larry Pidgeon came to the house and viewed the existing basement laundry and its hookups, and then looked at a couple of options on the second floor which might be adaptable for the washer and dryer. We were fortunate to have a gas line already going up to the second floor. We thought we would have to sacrifice one bedroom, but Larry suggested having the laundry open up to the hallway and only cutting into the bedroom a minimum amount. He brought in his plumbing and electrical specialist who confirmed that the plan was feasible. <br /> The work got underway within a day or two. If concerns or questions arose, Larry promptly addressed the situations to everyone's satisfaction. The work went smoothly, and everyone involved did an excellent job. We are very happy with the new laundry and would hire this company in the future. <br /> <br />

Larry never shows up only uses one person to remodel and charges you 65.00 an hour for himself even tho you never see him. Put a new floor in and it started coming up 6 months later because he did not know what he was doing. He was called and said he could do nothing about it. <br />

"I did a kitchen remodel about four years ago. The cost was approximately 13k. The estimate was 10k and we found huge electrical issues that had to be addressed by a lisenced electrician and the entire sub floor was in poor condition. We did our best to level out the floor and keep costs down. I did not bill for my hours and the kitchen came out beautiful overall. We did not choose any materials so the customer could get what they wanted and not have to pay extra for materials. There were minor imperfections in the flooring material the homeowner had chosen. I would not recommend rubber laminated flooring. I was there recently and had not heard any complaints since I checked out the floor two years ago. I would be willing to discuss this matter with [member name removed] and I will try my best to make her happy ultimately."

Pidgeon did a wonderful job. They arrived timely and worked into the evening to complete the job in just over a week. The roof is quite steep with multiple dormers and team handled in a safe manner. The clean-up was very good. Only complaint is that covered porch was not included in the original estimate, which seemed a bit strange and added to the cost later. <br />

"I Had forgotton some of the details about the job so I checked with company Vise President in charge of operations.What I found out was that underneath the multiple layers of shingles was a slate roof which was impossible to detect during the estimate. I was told that there was no addition charge for the the extra 15000 pounds of slate that had to be removed and hauled away. I hope that was a fair trade. I would be willing to discuss the situation privately to be sure the customer was ultimately satisfied knowing this information."

He did a nice job. We're very happy with him. He was reasonable. We had five quotes and he was the most reasonable. He replaced a lot of wood that was underneath the old roof. He was real good about it. He said, "This is all rabid." He pulled it all out. It was very, very nice. He is excellent and he is there when he tells you. He tells you he was coming on a certain day. He was here and he was here everyday. He didn't ask us for any money down. He came and started the project. I haven't got one bad thing to say about him. He took care of everything. He finished the job and made sure that we were happy with it.

It went very well. He was great. He was very reasonable. He didn't actually do the roofing job but he did the extra mile for doing the repair. He put down some really cool paper. It was very nice and well done. He took a really cool black paper and he adhered it with regular roofing stuff and it lasted for the winter and you can never see that there was a problem with it from the street. Then, I put out some dealers for bids and unfortunately, he was a little overpriced on that and only because I found somebody very cheap. But, I think his bid was within reason. He was very easy to talk to. He was a nice guy. When I called him, he was here within hours. He's a good contractor. He has been in business for a while.

I purchased the $99 roof inspection & minor repair package thru Angie's List because I was worried there might be issues after this past winter. Larry Pidgeon arrived right on time. He climbed up on the roof, looked around & took pictures. Then he came down and explained what he found. He was knowledgeable, concerned, honest and not at all pushy. He explained that the roof is okay, but will need to be replaced in the next five years. This makes perfect sense based on the age of my town home. He was very understanding of my financial situation and I feel confident in his opinion. He gave me a price for a new roof and I told him that I would be sure to call him next year when I'm ready to replace my roof. I would definitely recommend calling him for your roofing concerns!

Larry Pidgeon arrived on time, and I showed him two places in the home showing signs of roof leaks. He climbed onto the roof and took pictures of the damage he found. The plywood under the shingles was universally water damaged and rotted. At one chronic leaking area he found the siding pulled away, catching water and ice in winter. <br /> Larry did what he could to remedy the immediate problems with nails and caulk as a temporary measure. He also gave me a quote of $7,000 to replace all the plywood and shingles as a long term solution. I was expecting that a new roof would be recommended. Larry was very personable and professonal. It was a pleasure doing business with him. <br />

The project was completed within two days on schedule. There was a small glitch, but they handled it with professionalism and customer's need in mind. Due to some miscommunication, they took off the gutter. When they found out the original gutter pipe was not suitable any more, they installed new gutter promptly for free. The only reservation I have is that, instead of hammers, they used nail guns (more of a common practice now a day?). It all look perfect now. Only time will tell if the quality of the work is really worthy of an "A" rating. They seem confident as they offered 20 year labor guarantee. <br />

We are very pleased with the job Pidgeon roofing did on our garage this February. They were responsive to all our requests and questions. Gave us a very competitive price, a clear and comprehensive written proposal, and got the job done on time in the middle of February. The crew on site was very professional and put in long shifts in sometimes cold weather to finish on time. The clean up was very well done.
